  1. That'll be another 50p fine then ?
  2. Only if I can be president for life.
  3. Sorry coop but I have to disagree with you there. I haven't seen any religious, sporting or political attacks on our club carried out by the SNP and I'm by no means one of their supporters. The Rangers support are meaningless to the SNP. I just don't see where your "thorn in their side" comes from. For several years now they've controlled Holyrood. Nobody but the most rabid tim in the SNP will give the Rangers support a second thought. FFS, not even the SFA give a monkeys about the Rangers support. The problem nowadays is the manks having total control of the football authorities and the press. Some of us saw that one coming many years ago btw. Should one of our critics step over a line there is the option of going to a police office and report a crime having taken place - should the police fail in some way there is the option of contacting the Scottish government to complain. Would they act ? I've no idea, but it would then maybe back up the point you seem to me to be making.
  4. I absolutely detest the suggestion that all Rangers supporters should be protestant, tory, monarchist, anti-snp or anything else. As the chap above says, the colour of my scarf shows anybody who's interested what football team I support. During the referendum debate I saw lifelong Rangers supporters receive online abuse on other forums for simply engaging in the debate. To a man they ended up banned. Not for what they were saying but because the howls from fellow supporters led to the usual accusation from somebody losing the debate that they were guilty of trolling. Similarly I've read posts accusing bears of being IRA supporters because they expressed the opinion that they had no interest in the royal family. Btw, most of the online abuse came from guys who could usually be found shouting online while a Rangers match was taking place - they had all the credentials but didn't actually go to watch the team play. I don't care what the political leaning, religion or view of guy sitting next to me is. If he's a Rangers supporter, that's enough.
  5. Maybe some of those Hibs or arab fans should put their hands into their pockets and actually go pay to watch their team in action ? Plenty of them seem to want cup final tickets every 10 years or so they appear in a final.
  6. I'd need something far stronger than beans to spend time listening to a bunch of accountants mate.
  7. I was in a local bar a few days ago and noticed a dog with a St Pauli tag on its collar. I remarked, "That's a gorgeous wee dug. It's just a pity about the tag it's wearing." A half drunk non-entity sitting nearby said, "How, whit's up wae St Pauli ?" I replied, "Well, St Pauli is the red light area of Hamburg." The halfwit obviously thought he was ready to reel one in and ended up making a clown of himself.
  8. Apologies. SteveC covered it. Admin delete if necessary.
  9. and Gandhi has left Govan.
  10. I'd think Allys performance as a manager, his salary and pocketing a packet of shares had something to do with that one mate.
  11. It would be the end of the story Pete if he didn't keep appearing to discuss our club, its team performances and business matters. He walked away so I wish he'd just keep his trap shut and let Rangers supporters worry about what's happening at Ibrox.
  12. The referee was another incompetent, bordering on corrupt, clown we seem to draw like magnets. Aberdeen would have been down to about 8 men had the ref handled them in the same way as some of our players have been treated in past matches.,
  13. King said "it could take £30 million to get the club back to where it should be" . He said that he and others would invest that much if needed. There were other later reports where the figure rose to 50 million. At no point did he ever say 30 million would be spent on the playing squad. As for Souness - he did walking away. I for one will never forget that.
  14. Imo , for last nights game the players were at fault. At half time it was obvious that the players on the park were not doing it. Who's fault for the remaining 45 minutes does it then become ? I have not ever spoken one word in criticism of our coaching squad - seeing our manager standing at the side of the pitch shouting "come on" instead of just going on to boot somebodys baws just didn't sit too good with me. I honestly don't know whether it was all down to a bad night for those on the park or another block on top of an earlier block pointing towards a Le Guen scenario.
  15. We got more from the game than we deserved. Only Wallace and Foderingham [just] get pass marks. A team tonight totally devoid of idea or ability. I'd fine just about every one of them for stupidity. That includes the coaches btw.
  16. And we were told he was back to being a world beater before he returned to us from Kilmarnock. The point is , imo Boyd turned into a lazy bassa each time he pulled on a Rangers jersey. Look at the difference in his weight when he played for us.
  17. Let's face it Mac, Boyd scored a lot for us because of the quality around him. Chances came his way because we had a few talented players in our side. In turn Boyd became a lazy bassa, too idle to move himself and too stupid and lazy to stop finding himself in an offside position. I blame McCoist for a lot of things but destroying what was in effect a traffic cone wearing a Rangers jersey isn't one of them.
  18. It's another Record non-story mate. The shettlestons are the only ones who'll buy that nonsense.
  19. " Rangers would need to prove to UEFA that they can reduce their losses and continue as a going concern if they qualify for Europe. " Given the amount of thieving and other such jiggery-pokery that's gone on within our club that shouldn't be too hard to prove. Those responsible have gone.
  20. I sometimes wonder if some of our strikers are cross legged.
  21. My wife is an absolute menace who wouldn't rest until she had everybody dancing on the tables. Great company, but tiring after 3 or 4 hours.
  22. We met just a few years ago and I'd have to say I agree with you BH.
  23. I would very much doubt that the board would have put forward the proposal without gauging how it was likely to turn out. Somebody somewhere either lied or fecked up.
  24. I've no idea Craig. I'm only going on what the Record say. Mind you, maybe the brushes are out and at work yet again ?
  25. I see a Rangers blogger takes the moral high ground in the Record - http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/decent-fans-must-stand-up-9352597? Imo the guy is completely missing the point. Nobody is using child sex abuse as a stick to beat Celtic. They are using THE COVERING UP of child sex abuse. Also, and I'd never seek to defend Dolly, but they've put up with "sheep shagging bassas" for years and years without comment from anyone. What is it these bloggers are saying, that it's ok to mock bestiality [formerly a capital offence in Scotland] but no mention at all should be made of the rape of children ? I fecking object to being called a zombie and anyone doing it should not be annoyed when I retort that their own club systematically covered up the buggery of weans.
