  1. Time for the Compliance Officer to get his P45.

Selective trial by television needs binned. Blatantly obvious the last two have been biased towards the yahoos

The first victim of tv evidence that I know of was Graeme Souness when he got done for being in the tunnel at Ibrox during the period of a touchline ban. And that was at a time when tv evidence was not accepted by the SFA. Shortly after that incident I sat in every seat at the front of our main stand to prove that it was simply not possible for any observer to have seen Souness standing where he was.

  2. Correct, a left foot screamer as it dropped to him.

Funnily enough, I was wondering the other day what had happened to Ness. And also McCabe - they would have been better served staying at Rangers.

McCabe had nobody but himself to blame for not still being at Ibrox. Slagging your team mates and coaching staff in front of. the assistant managers father is not a very wise move - especially when you have produced the square root of zero to justify a place in the side yourself.

  3. BH, where you say "club's already take disciplinary measures" I think you need to asterisk that with *wxcept Celtic....

They are still looking for the lighter thrower that hit Ricksen.... and did they not also allow a previously banned supporter back into Parkhead....

The whole of the gangrene brigade were banned. A short while later they got rewarded with their own section and later a standing section.

As some guy on tv said tonight - the SFA statement was the waste of a good tree.

  4. I've just returned from 5 days in Spain with no internet access. It pleases me to see that these complete dumplings are acting the same way despite a new year having arrived.

Before I left I'd seen Ill Phil havering about his correspondence with GCC. Basically he'd written asking 20 questions which were really the same question in 20 different forms. He got a reply but then wrote back asking if all the heid bummers at GCC were aware of the rumours started by the decrepit clown John James and wanting a list of who would accept responsibility if and when Ibrox fell down. He got the same reply - Ibrox has been inspected and has a safety certificate. Last I heard he'd also contacted the Scottish parliament looking for a name to blame when the roof goes sailing off killing pure mullions.

Their resolution 12 garbage having failed this is obviously their new toy.

    Sad sad people.

  5. Also an opportunity for Michael O'Halloran, he seems to be becoming the forgotten man. I'm not sure why he has fallen behind Dodoo in terms of getting match time.

I'm passing on an informed rumour from a reasonable source here - apparently O'Halloran believes he is a superstar. While others are getting down to extra work after training he is sitting down texting on his phone. Waghorn despite being told to quit it , is continuing to try to bulk up. That isn't going down too well either.

To be honest I'm not sure whether to believe it or not. Please don't ask for the source guys because I won't say.

  6. Sorry guys i missed all the hullabaloo yesterday, working most of the day. Caught a wee bit of the goals and action, we are not far behind them. I think we need to look ahead to next season and prepare for that, a few players need moved on, sadly Tav is one, his involvement in games at the moment is reduced to terrible shooting, poor marking, soft tackling and lapses of concentration. I'm not just referring to yesterday's game but the last three or four games, he's not the only one, but he's the stand out under performing for me, others can follow him out the door.

Due to family business I didn't attend. I haven't even seen the highlights yet. I caught a few minutes on radio and we seemed to be doing well. Any opinion will be made later.

  7. I'm not a massive Scott Brown fan as a technical player but he's got a bit of dig and can raise the game of his teammates, I don't think we get that with Wallace.

Brown gets away with how he plays because he plays in Scotland and referees allow him away with murder. Look at how he plays in European or even Scotland matches to prove that point.

As for Wallace - Brown couldn't lace his boots.

  8. For those who believe D'Art, he posted this a few hours ago on another forum ...

    D'Artagnan said:

I can confirm that the information contained on FF is consistent with that which we have received at Club 1872 - that there will be no early entry afforded to Celtic supporters for the purpose of erecting displays. And any banners or displays which are promulgated will have been surreptiously brought in between turnstile opening and kick off.

Given the amount of financial support our fans have signed up to, how long this rumour has gone on, and to me personally it shouldn't have been more than 30 minutes, the fact there is now a supporters association/club/assembly/ or whatever its newest name is, yet again all I can relate to is the Murray days.

THIS SHYTE SHOULD HAVE BEEN STOPPED AT SOURCE. NO DEBATE.

  9. To be honest my head is on Saturdays game, we can't afford to be any else but at the top of our game. Wednesday's clash with ST Jonhstone should be an opportunity to iron out the wee niggling problems that crept into our game on Saturday, like lack of concentration. Sloppy passing and adjusting the sights on the boots. Just in time for the big one, get the little things correct and i think we can do them on Saturday.

No disrespect to St Johnstone but we need to play to our strengths tomorrow, get at them early doors, keep it tight at the back but let our wingers do the damage by getting the ball into Garner and Miller, Waghorn just needs to get his shots on target, McKay should sprinkle fairy dust on his boots and he'll fly by SJ defenders.

Following our last showing Warburton has the chance to prove he possesses a large pair of hobnail boots which he will not be afraid of connecting with a few of our players erchies. Nobody is looking for or expecting a world class display. What I want to see is some of the carelessness and torpor cut out.

  10. But it's not sung as a righteous complaint against the covering up of child abuse, instead it's sung as gleeful revelling in the "feet of clay" of our bitterest rivals' most legendary figure. Were that not the case it would not be sung in the manner it is and we would have sung re other characters from all walks of life who've covered things up, especially such abuse, in the past.

Maybe that is how you see it personally. In fact how many others may see it.

"Gleefully revelling" is not how I do it. It is a direct accusation when I sing it.

"Most legendary figure" doesn't come into the debate unless you're on about the manks own twisted accusations of how Struth was somehow involved in the death of Wilton.

" we would have sung re other characters from all walks of life who've covered things up, especially such abuse, in the past." ?? Who would you propose prior to or post Stein ?

  11. The game kicks off early so I doubt we'll have a lot of time but we'll most likely be in the Neptune Masonic Club (behind the old Swallow Hotel) if you'd like to meet a few people on here.

There's usually a £1 entry fee for non-members and I assume it will be open from 11am.

PS: We're in there for every home game and if anyone wants to grab a drink, ian1964 will gladly buy you one...

I've been known to haunt the bar front in there myself Frankie. :flute:

Family business prevents me attending this match but I'll keep your post in mind for future reference.

  12. Having played both sports I've always held the opinion that any kid showing the promise of making it as a footballer should be forced to spend a period playing rugby to teach them respect for the authority of the referee. It might also speed up a soccer match by stopping the need to bring on medical assistance every time a player breaks a fingernail or a shoelace or similar.

A period driving motorcycles before being allowed to drive a car is another I'd recommend.

  13. Obviously, if you equate "you're not fit to wear the sash" with a song about child abuse.

You can come up with all the comparisons that you want but my morals tell me that singing about child abuse is wrong. If your morals and values don't see anything wrong with it then there's not much I'm going to be able to say that will change your mind.

Sorry to appear to dig you up personally again BD, but this is the line the manks and their ilk always push when the subject is brought up and it's entirely wrong.

The Rangers fans aren't singing about child abuse. Nobody is saying that Stein abused any kids.

It's the covering up of the child sexual abuse that's being referred to. Stein knew. Stein said nothing. That makes him fair game as far as I'm concerned.

  14. If you don't apply morals to our songs then how can you criticise Celtic fans for their songs? If you do then you're just a hypocrite.

As far as I know BJK is not banned under any criminal legislation therefore can be looked at as banter.

Singing in praise of cowardly murdering terrorist scumbags is most definitely illegal.

I don't criticise sellik fans for singing those songs. My criticism is of the authorities who don't arrest every single clatty one of them every single week.

  15. Although I was brought up listening to Dave Clark Five I was never really aware of just how big they were in the USA until I watched a documentary on the band last weekend on tv.

    I love the song.
