  1. Us getting a home draw was a conspiracy after all we should not have considering the two drawing the ties (1) A totally pissed fan of the scum and(2) A person? who managed both of the green and white teams yes a total conspri:flute:cy

They were proposing a "tame tim", Murdo McLeod would be seconded in to be in on the fix to draw the hot/cold baw to ensure we'd get a home draw.

The 50/50 gate money doesn't come into it. Apparently what we get in hospitality and sale of programmes is what's keeping the lights on at Ibrox.

I'll say it again - they are a sad breed.

  2. The mank forums this morning were on about how many home games we've had in the cups over the past seasons. This will send them completely over the edge. :flute:

I always think back to my youth and the run the manks had when it came to being drawn at home. It lasted for ages.

  3. They completed destroyed us in both games. We were playing suicidal passes and performed woefully because we were garbage.

In the process they ruined an otherwise enjoyable holiday the wife and I were having. I watched both games early afternoon in a pub where I was the only customer. It got so bad in the second match I found myself barred.

  4. "A delegation led by Ralph Topping and Neil Doncaster met with BT Sport in London on Thursday. It could result in Scottish football securing its biggest ever broadcast package."

It's biggest ever broadcast package ? Yes, but how long will the package last ?

My money is on, for less money per season. But lasting for 25 years or similar.

Those fools couldn't organise a blow job in a brothel.

  5. The funny thing is that you have to conclude the punter knew something about where Whyte was going, and when he put down £100, he must have been thinking along the lines of what happened. It seems he just chose the wrong bet.

You have to wonder what the odds would have been for what happened. I'm pretty sure they would have been much lower than relegation - as in the end we finished in second place despite a 10 point penalty, and the negative results that came our way from the administration problems - and according to some, with the worst manager in football history, so it's not surprising the odds were high for the standard definition of relegation.

But what actually transpired was, to me, something that seemed incredibly unlikely when looked at through a (somewhat idealistic) filter of everyone acting rationally, due to its level of self-harm.

Within a couple of days of Whyte taking over, the mank sites, and to be fair, one or two bears were warning what was coming. The billionaire garbage had been debunked.

Unfortunately nobody within the Rangers support was listening. I found myself thrown off two Rangers sites for refusing to join in on the back-slapping and cheers.

To your point though - I don't think even Whyte looked towards liquidation. Something which dumped the debts / potential debts while leaving him to sell the assets is more his modus operandi.

The bet the guy placed really wasn't that long a shot given the history of those sniffing around our club.

I still think he's onto plums though. Relegation didn't come into it .

  6. Coral's defence was that the club were not relegated because they went 3 divisions down and that's not relegation. Don't think the new club/old club question has arisen

You should take a look on the mank sites mate. There is even one clown there who started a huge debate by proposing that this action could lead to a "stated case" whereby it would be proven that Rangers are a new club. :yesrfc:

  7. Whatever future contract those fools manage to negotiate, there's one thing for certain - it will be Rangers fans who will lose out most by having games moved to 10am on a Monday morning, 8.30pm on a Friday night or similar such nonsense. Let's be honest here, who gives a monkeys about a Motherwell v Dundee Utd match, apart from the couple of hundred who go to watch them at games ?

  8. I honestly feel if Coral win this the Celtic fans will hold it up to say they were right along. "we're a different club"

Never mind what everyone else says.

It's the bookies that are right!

Mate, it doesn't matter what happens with this case. It doesn't matter what anybody in the whole wide world says. The manks have a wee idea in their tiny brains and nothing will ever change that. It's what they do. Diseased and obsessed.

  9. I would assume that this is actually automatically in place, conflict of interest and all that? It happened all the time when we played teams in the lower tiers to which we loaned players.

I don't think it's automatic DB. I can recall seeing many on-loan players play against their mother clubs.

But I hadn't read the full thread and assumed wrongly that we were considering selling MOH to a Scottish club.

  10. The utter fool that is JJ gets crazier and crazier ---

" I’m writing this article in exile. The death threats against me are real. Those who believe that they know my identity will continue to throw darts at what they perceive to be my image. A paramilitary style attack was planned to blind me with acid and amputate my fingers so as to rule out brail. "

    :seal:

  11. MOH has been a disappointment as he's far too passive in games (and hasn't really adapted to our style - or us his) but I wouldn't see him moving to Hearts unless someone like Nicholson came in the other direction.

Nicholson has missed the last 2-3months after a knee op but is expected back soon apparently.

I don't want to see O'Halloran with any other side in Scotland as I reckon he would terrify our defence. I've no idea what the answer is with him playing for us though.

  12. Jeez, Coral have shot themselves in the foot if they are trying to use that as their defence rather than just simply stating the fact that Rangers were placed in the bottom division, not relegated. Have they been researching Celtic blogs as the case for their defence? That would easily get blown out of court with a quick search on UEFA and the SFA's site!

As said earlier Stu - Rangers weren't "placed" anywhere. We were thrown out of the SPL and to all intents and purposes, out of football altogether .

We then had to apply to join another tier of Scottish football. At that point we were "placed" into the bottom division.
