  1. Actually, Halliday at LM/LWB could be quite a good move, allowing us to use his work-rate and pace while keeping him as far away from the centre of the pitch as possible!

Sorry mate but I wouldn't allow him to even run the pie stall. Imo his time at Ibrox is over and he should be allowed to sink to his level - junior football.

  2. Aye Boabie that would be my reading of what their Agents position would be too but we've seen their statement and its saying that they didn't resign. Its an attempt at a fly move by him, that is, if what the board are saying is true. Now if what the board are saying is true its actually down to the board to show that the Agent was working on their behalf which is easily done.

BJ , I'd say it's a given that the agent contacted our board to give notice that Warburton & Co were leaving. He requested Rangers didn't seek compensation from whatever club they were moving to.

There was then a hiatus during which the Rangers board met to discuss the situation and got legal advice.

At some point, yet to be determined officially, the board contacted the agent and agreed to all his his requests.

There and then Warburton and friends stop being employees at Ibrox.

What went on between the 3 amigos and their agent we don't know yet.

Had they got the job they'd applied for we would have heard no more and been without any management or a scout.

The board have given their position. Let's see if the threatened court action actually happens.

I very much doubt we'll hear another word from our former employees no matter what fuss the media will undoubtably create.

  3. BJ , to this bit - " I do have one concern though, that being that MW statement on behalf of the three Stooges states that they did not resign in person. Even though Uilliam rightly says that you cant withdraw a resignation if you never presented one in the first place it is a possibility that they could argue that since it was the Agent who tabled the resignations then it was a third party which would in all likelihood be found in their favour by a tribunal. It would be up to the Rangers board to present the case that this third party was the interface for ALL contract discussions regarding the three Stooges. "

An agent is more than a third party. He is a person acting with the legal power of his clients.

A third party to me would be like me telling my boss that the guy who worked beside me had handed in his notice and wouldn't be back.

Rangers would have taken full legal advice before announcing Warburton and his pals had resigned. I'm confident they know what they're doing.

  4. Well this is where I beg to differ with you.

I understand the perception that Celtic have "got away with murder" and that "Every perceived offence committed by us receives wall to wall coverage." but if the rules are not changed then how do you propose to deal with the situation?

Strict liability if applied properly should create a level playing field. I realise you will say that it is open to abuse and that may be so but until it is tried you really don't know. There is no doubt that the current system is broke and needs to be fixed.

    What is your solution?

I think we all know what "should create a level playing field. " Unfortunately for us, there is no such thing here any more. Changing the rules to introduce strict liability will lead down one street - Rangers will get fined. Rangers will get stands closed. Rangers will get docked points. These people will not be satisfied until Rangers are no more - shut down completely.

  5. English is another one with a long term agenda. He is the more respectable face of the coven including Ill Phil and the others. His rumour mongering is no more than an attempt to give gravitas to rubbish made up by the fool James or Muirhead.

He is in place to broadcast lies to cause disquiet among the Rangers support and for no other reason.

  6. The Clubs and the principal parties are all still the same.

What has changed is that the rule changes made at the time have failed to deal with the issue; which is exactly what I predicted at the time. The recent changes do nothing to change that situation; and I would argue make it worse.

Ministers said at the time that they would consider imposing strict liability if the rule changes proved ineffective; that is why i believe that the SG will either adopt Mr Dornan's proposed legislation as a Government Bill or otherwise support it;'s progress through Parliament.

I'm not saying you are wrong BH but much has changed in the past 5 years. The manks and their reps have cemented their positions and now control the whole of Scottish football from the governing bodies to the media. Even the slightest look at match reporting or coverage shows that.

If nobody reports the crime then nobody will investigate it.

Every perceived offence committed by us receives wall to wall coverage. The manks quite literally are getting away with murder.

Strict liability will see one club and one club alone punished. It won't be the manks.

  7. It was Mark Guidi(a journalist) on Clyde. Did anyone think we would leak to Jackson?? More "leeks" than a Welsh farmer!

I wouldn't be going for BF, he is all out attack too and not got anywhere near the experience.

Guidi, Jackson, Snyde - a shower of scumbags without an ounce of reason who lost all respectability or credence many years ago.

Ferguson can barely speak English. We'd be better off with some Turk directing the squad.

  8. On Snyde that Barry Ferguson has support in boardroom for position of head coach alongside DoF. Would normally take that with pinch of salt, however if board members leaking to Jackson then they could be leaking to anyone!

Rangers stated today they'd received a heap of applications which they'd sort through before holding interviews.

I very much doubt Coop that anybody is leaking to Snyde.

  9. But if you're right you're right.

Draw a line under the whole thing.

Rangers have already drawn a line under it mate. The board obviously sought legal advice before telling Warburton and pals their resignations had been accepted.

Rangers then released a statement. King later clarified our position.

If Warburton wants anything further he can go to court.

If King released a video which clearly showed Warburtons agent saying his client had resigned it still wouldn't be enough for the usual suspects. The pathetic mob that passes for our media know that any story about us sells so will keep it going.

I don't think we'll be hearing any more from Warburton.

  10. Even if Rangers don't have to respond to the LMA why not respond with the evidence they have, explain their legal position and draw a line under that particular point

I'd suspect the club will wait to see if Warburton & Co follow through on their threat to seek court action.

There's no need to give the prosecution your whole defence before a day in court.

  11. Celtic FC will not be pursued for chants about the IRA or huns as there is minimal appetite for this to happen in the media.

Remember, the media's man at the Justice Committee is Graham Spiers - he who has been writing about Rangers' bigotry for the better part of 20 years but calls IRA stuff complicated and laughs at offence being found over hun.

That attitude extends throughout the Scottish media. Do we even remember why Chris McLaughlin is persona non grata at Ibrox?

SL will see Rangers first fined, then a stand closed then away fans banned then points deducted. Celtic, at worst, will get a fine. Yes, there's an argument that our fans aren't sensible enough to play the game but it's difficult to blame them when the coverage is so imbalanced.

Who really takes genuine offence at a naughty song?

When we have broadcasters turning up the volume at one match and turning the sound off at another then you really have to wonder what's happening in this country.

That football authorities cancel holding minutes silences and start applauding the death of someone because of the behaviour of one set of fans disgusts me.

The manks have control of the place and it doesn't matter what laws are brought in - we will never be allowed to gain parity. The game's up.

  12. I once complained to NBM formally about some game or other when Celtic fans were doing 'the sad orange b***** routine ' and got no reply despite NBM making a big fuss out of our fans doing it the other way round in a previous match. I have no doubt they are a biased organisation.

When reptiles like Muirhead, the tarred one, and countless others connected with Parkhead start promoting Nil By Mouth you've learned all there is to know about that so-called charity.

When that poor young guy got murdered up in Blantyre you could see them start to paint their banners and get ready to take to the streets. Nil By Mouth had plenty to say. There was almost disappointment when no link could be found to a Rangers supporter having been responsible.

  13. That would indicate (If it happens), that it is less about the actual rule/law and more about who is enforcing it....

Strict liability is already in force throughout Europe & in England - Scotland is one of the only places where it isn't in force.

The laws brought in by Labour then the ones currently in force were brought in at the behest of the manks and their bigot reps. NBM were to the fore in promoting the Rangers are bad mantra - hardly surprising when you look into who's behind or employed by them. What later upset them though was when a couple of the gangrene brigade started getting chaps on their doors at 5 am. That wasn't supposed to happen.

Every part of the media and every influential organisation like NBM will continue to do what they've been doing up until now - scream when Rangers fans sing a song and simply ignore the actions of the Celtic support. It doesn't matter what laws are in place. They've been changed twice already. Who is enforcing it doesn't matter either. A look at sheriff court results will tell you all you need to know about what's going on in Scotland right now.

Strict liability will lead to Rangers as a club getting done. No other club will suffer. I can practically guarantee that .

My point in posting is to ask guys here not to lend any credibility to a shower of bigots like NBM by taking part in any so-called survey they are running.

  14. And in turn allow them to assist in pushing through strict liability legislation which is only going to be used against one club, ours.

"Keep your friends close and your enemies closer" - Ignoring them is akin to sticking your head in the sand - and that is a VERY dangerous position to take in modern Scottish football.

The strict liability legislation has been taken up by politicians who already recognise that the SFA are doing feck all. It will go through and nothing anybody says is going to stop it. You're correct though - we will be the first and probably the only club targeted by it.

None of that though means that NBM should receive any creditibility by fans replying to their stupid survey.

That industry is a one-way street in this country and NBM are in the vanguard for ensuring it ended up that way.

  15. On the contrary, it is vitally important that we Rangers fans complete this survey, telling them exactly what we (should) think of strict liability and their back-door attempts at yet more bias and corruption being shown towards their vile club.

If we manage to get a very high number that completes this and says no to strict liability, where does that leave them?

We must play the game here, not shut the door and stuff our fingers in our ears.

Mate, tell me that seriously you don't consider for more than one second that NBM are in the slightest interested in what any Rangers fan thinks.

This is part of a political agenda ran by every enemy of our club.

What Rangers fans say, apart from the kill the bill part, will be totally ignored by that shower of scumbags.

Ignore them and let them get on with making up more stories about the bigots at Ibrox.
