  1. It seems there's Judge Jury and black cap on this thread all due to the fact that they don't like Kiernan.

I personally did not think it was a sending off, but what do I know.

I've stated that I think Kiernan is a liability with very little ability.

It doesn't mean that I am wrong in saying that a player diving into a tackle like he did the other night deserves to get sent off LG.

It was a sending off every time.

" The Scottish Cup -A Corrupt Crock

Two of the worst pro Rangers-Lite decision that I have ever encountered have been ‘committed’ by John Beaton who will be the toast of the town at his Orange Lodge tonight. Even Grant Russell of STV was outraged at how Foderingham avoided a red card when clearly denying a goal scoring opportunity by catching the ball in a sliding tackle outside his box. One is unlikely to see a more obvious red card all season, yet both Beaton and his assistant ignored it.

As for the penalty, Toral goes down like Hazel Irvine in an elevator i.e. with a minimum of encouragemet. No-one touches Toral as he cheats his way to a semi-final at Hampden.

Are Rangers, who get home draw after home draw, going to be awarded the cup this year due to the yearnings of their followers in black? Are they under instructions from the SFA?

The fans of other clubs should boycott this trophy as it’s a corrupt crock of shit. "

    :rfcbouncy:

This is the idiot who claims he is a Rangers fan who became so disgusted that he stopped going to Ibrox. :flipa:

Incidentally, if you go to leave a comment on his scabby website now you are automatically taken to paypal to leave a donation.

Only those throwing pennies into his begging bowl have their comments allowed.

What a filthy lying tramp he is.

  3. A bit reckless, but he is a 'Ger; thus it was astonishing that he did not receive a red card, and a charge from the Procurator Fiscal.

Personally, I enjoy decisions like this, as they send the fhilth and their fellators into fits. Wonderful to witness.

Over on Kiddyfiddler Street there are calls for Garner to get done by both the football and criminal authorities.

The fact that Joe got booked and can't be subject of retrospective punishment sees the manks frothing at the mouth. :seal:

  4. Garner's was bad the way it turned out, but it wasn't intentional; he was going to boot the ball off the player... hard. It's something I see quite regularly in Scottish football tbh.

I almost got sent off for doing the exact same thing playing against Dunipace in the early seventies.

A ball over at the touchline. Both me and an opposition man kicked the ball at the same time. The only problem was he went into orbit.

To my mind the only decision the ref had to make was, which team got the throw in.

Things are different nowadays and Garner can seem guilty of being somewhat rash at times.

Scottish football, playing for Rangers isn't going to be the easiest for Joe.

  5. Listening to radio on way back from game and the usual suspects going berserk over Garner and Wes not being sent off. It was also "never" a penalty apparently(looked one to me) you could hear the frothing as their bitterness bubbled over.

Flicked from BBC Scotland to Snyde and both questioning the officials! "Bottled" it and "shocker" were term used amongst other more flippant.

Great day and happy we are in the semi!! Pleased for Garner and I also thought Toral is looking more comfortable in every game. All in all a pleasing afternoon. Bring on the Mhanks!!

What else would we expect ?

  6. I dont think Brexit will even happen. The powers that be dont want it and will get a second referendum therefore players / managers will still be able to come and go.

I happen to agree with you mate. Since the day after the referendum I've been saying that the politicians will scare us all to death with what's going to happen and will find a way to wriggle out of the result.

Theresa May seems steadfast right now but I'm just waiting on something happening which removes her, placing some "let's stop for a minute" guy at the helm and causing it all to change.

  7. I think after BREXIT EU players will still be able to come to the UK and play as they are just now. The EPL would struggle without them

You're right. Rab But I don't think the tory party will negotiate with the jerries, etc on the basis of trying to save the EPL.

  8. I'll admit though that I was quite pleased at the time with the signings we made. I really wanted a strong centre back too, but the others (including JB) seemed like the right signings. I think it's easy for us to use this benefit of hindsight to criticise FMcP and MW but with better man management and guidance (and a bit of luck with injuries) I think we could have had a decent season. If Rossiter, Kranjcar and JB had worked out we'd be in a decent position right now. They didn't for different reasons and that's football.

I just think it's crazy to blame the manager (or board) when at the time many of us were delighted with these signings, and I think they were the best we could hope to acquire with our budget. But I accept I may have been alone in feeling that way.

I'm sorry gaffer, but when you make a barrowload of signings and most of them are never seen again or those who are turn out to be absolute shyte, then it's perfectly correct to question the manager.

The "If your auntie had baws" scenario has no place when it comes to the cold hard facts of results.

  9. What about all the Brazilian players who come over to Portugal & get Portuguese passports ? They don't require work permits

Like to think this is one option Caixinho would think about if he gets the job.

    One word Rab - brexit.

We might be ok for this and next season. After that I'd say all bets are off.

  10. " “When you look at Aberdeen, you’d maybe hanker back to the Eighties, but you don’t have that now — it’s not in the fans’ psyche that you can challenge Celtic. "

Was there any hankering going on in the years since the eighties when Rangers were winning the league and cups ?

Maybe instead of "hankering" during the past 4 years Aberdeen should have concentrated on at least coming out to fight in matches against the manks ?

  11. I know what you mean scot , and I don't want to seem to be pendantic - but in my eyes there is no "old firm". It was a derogatory term when it was first coined. Over the years folk regarded it meant some sort of partnership.

I want nothing to do with that lot and would prefer we didn't use that title.

As to your point though. As Mac says , it's a catch 22 and I wouldn't like to hazard a guess how things would work out either way.

  12. I don't think it's lightweight at all. One thing we now need is someone with global contacts to recruit better quality players at affordable prices. Caixinho ticks that box. This was the major drawback of having MW as manager whose recruitment seemed limited to the most expensive league in the world i.e. England.

I think many wanted F de B but to me that was always a non-starter for financial reasons alone

The problem with players spotted via "global contacts" though is Rab - many are unable to get visas allowing them to play in our league.

If it's 50/50 then the manks can usually get around the rule.

The rest of us need not apply.

Players who have so many, whatever the amount is, full international caps will be outwith our price range.

  13. He also booted a guy in the haw-maws in the Battle of Montevideo against Racing Club of Argentina.

In his own words, " I kicked his baws so hard I gave him a hump."

I apologise in advance for the link via youtube, but for some of the youngsters, this is how the game of football SHOULD and used to be be played.

    The baw-kicking incident is included.

  14. One of the funniest moments in football was when he chased the German bloke around the park and booting him up the arse.

He also booted a guy in the haw-maws in the Battle of Montevideo against Racing Club of Argentina.

In his own words, " I kicked his baws so hard I gave him a hump."

  15. I've only caught the highlights of the match.

Tbh I don't see what the debate is regarding Kiernan.

It was a straight red every day since the rules changed.

Not for the first time he's let the team down.

I long for the day when dross like this aren't seen wearing Rangers jerseys.

Well done to the rest of the guys.

  16. Did Angus Cook not float this in the '80s, getting nowhere, the madhouse economics of Scottish fitba' prevailing?

Even ground sharing was an anathema, if memory serves: good enough for Milan, but not for Dundee; go figure.

Cook did and later yon fanny Mitchell reported that on the Friday night they had the paperwork sorted, strips picked out and the name Dundee City United chosen. Everything fell apart by the Saturday morning.
