  1. There's no point in trying to sue folk like the Donegal tramp or the fool JJ, they don't have anything worth taking. I'm not a lawyer but I'd think there's some way of having their sites shut down due to the continual lies spouted.
  2. The manks did away with Juninho's EBT but paid him from it well after he'd left their club. They didn't disclose it to the SFA until 3 years later.
  3. I've never heard of the guy who wrote that pish. Imo he copied and pasted from blog by the tramp who is tarred by the brush of sectarianism.
  4. Just received an Email. https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/player-year-voting-open/
  5. If this story was true I'd suspect we would be hearing it from a more informed source than a couple of sites who do nothing more than pass on second hand stories or rumour as fact. "We understand" is what most of those sites should change their names to. I'll file under shecht for the moment.
  6. Bobby Shearer was always one of my favourites Compo. Football under the rules in place at that time was different. It was a mans game. Hard, body contact, fair. Only despicable bastards went over the line.
  7. It's just a pity Rangers didn't play in a five a side league mate. Guys like him who produced every 9 or 10 matches when they could be bothered to shake themselves awake were the reason, despite 10's of millions being spent we were serial failures in Europe. I couldn't give a monkeys chuff what they did elsewhere. We spent well over the budget for guys to turn up to showboat in cup finals or Wednesday night matches against Dunfermline or whoever. An undoubted talent - a waste of money as far as Rangers were concerned.
  8. Well done Scotland. # Hopefully the wee tosser gets found out next match leading to the rest of the fannies at the SFA also losing their jobs. A fecking fine chance of that happening though. Chesney and Muttley, your time's up.
  9. Gooooooaaaalllll. The agony continues.
  10. Midfield general Scott Brown has nobody behind him to pass to so puts the ball out of play. Fecking imposter.
  11. I've watched this match in European games at Ibrox umpteen times during the late 60's the 70's and so on. The opposition will get a free kick or a corner 3 or 4 minutes from time and score. I really hope I'm wrong. Scotland, despite playing world football of the Maryhill Stanklifters deserve a win. That would only be preserving the agony though. Strachan and his under achieving squad of fannies should have been shown the door a couple of games ago. When you have a half empty Hampden the story has already been written.
  12. I must admit, the minute statistics are mentioned I switch off. No statistic is ever going to change my mind that somebody is actually an important cog in a team if I think they are crap. "Assists" is probably the most misleading thing that can ever be applied to a football player imo. But then I've never played FIFA football manager on computer.
  13. I was too young to have seen him. My dad and my grandfather both regarded Woodburn as a "liberty-taker". Something to do with a sending off against a very young player .
  14. I'm certain that it was the Citizen paper that was on sale around Ibrox on match days. There was a colour photo of a Rangers player inside each home match. A guy who lived beside me made a few bob framing and selling the photos.
  15. I seem to remember a very young Charlie Cooke turning in a dazzling display one game at Ibrox.
  16. All 3 named there Pete are obvious world stars but are we talking about "best" or on a performance onfield at Ibrox ? If we are then this guy put on one of the best 90 minute displays I've seen -
  17. You'll recall SBS when our club took a great deal of criticism for signing foreign players and thus " holding back Scottish youth and destroying Scottish football" ? Look at most teams taking the field in our league these days and you'll see it's like Fred Karno's Army - there are players from countries I've never even heard of. Any criticism from the media ? Of course not.
  18. My first pair of boots had wooden soles and studs.
  19. Imo Les it'll take signing a minimum of 4 decent players before we begin to really close any gap between us and the manks. Yes, we'll gain the odd success or count ourselves unlucky at times but there is definitely a gap. Between us and the rest I'd say there is no gap. We committed suicide all by ourselves and allowed the sheep to benefit. Guys playing at 50% and others fannying about cost us dearly in a few matches. Injuries didn't help. Neither did a manager who either couldn't give a monkeys or had lost total interest. Hopefully that will get addressed over the rest of this season.
  20. No. Sorry YB but that one simply doesn't stand at all. As much as I liked Cooper, he was a fantastic player - when he could be ersed. Let's not re-write history here. There were times when quite correctly Davie was left sitting on the bench. There were other games when for whatever reason he was anonymous. That did not happen with Baxter and that is the difference. Cooper was good. Baxter was a few levels above him.
  21. I know mate. And I'm one of those who removes my business from those I feel aren't treating me properly as a customer. King can do all the business he wants with him as long as he doesn't expect me to follow suit. King strikes a deal with Ashley and the boycott continues. The club gain more revenue than they were previously receiving. I'm sorry mate. I know the point you're making and understand why. But I won't be taking part.
  22. I had the glossy colour version of that photo on my bedroom wall back then. It probably came from the Citizen paper.
  23. As long as Ashley is involved I won't be buying any of my family Rangers kit. King can buy as many as he wants. Jesus Christ ! What is it our board just aren't getting ? Fat Ashley brings the club to the point of total ruin and King wants to shake his hand ?
  24. I had the Scotland match on my laptop but ended up viewing Clear & Present Danger on tv for the hundredth time. The only player to catch my eye as halfway decent was Naismith.
  25. According to STV news - £330,000 loss.
