  1. There is an alky tramp in charge of the mank supporters who is not shy to stoop to any level whatsoever to defend any perceived slight towards his club or its supporters.

That is what our spokespersons should be doing. No matter how low we need to go.

I'm fed up with our guys turning the other cheek, ignoring things, or talking about "class". We had years and years of lies and half truths spread by every section of the media about Rangers.

Get into them at every opportunity. Name them and call them out every single time.

If the club don't want to ban these non-entities fair enough - but I'm certain there are many thousands of Rangers fans who think like I do and who'll maybe reconsider further funding of the club if the silence goes on much longer.

  2. That is too simple. I proffered Warburtons style of football as Pedro's. Funnily enough his plan A was excellent and virtually the same as Celtics only they had better players to realise it. The pressing game is the way to go but you have to have the players to execute it. These players could do that in the lower leagues but the SPL was a bridge too far for them. Changing to plan B is a short term change but playing Plan A better was the better long term plan. The big thing with all top teams these days is after ball loss the 5 second press to win it back. Warburton wanted that but just didn't have the quality to put it into action. To do that you have to do it as a unit otherwise you will be chasing shadows. It is easy to say Warburton bought Rubbish but we do not know when King turned off the money tap. I also think our win against Celtic in the SC 1\2 final mudded the waters on how far down the road we were.

Warburton had a huge budget to work with and got us to the top division. A look at who has turned out to be successful will show how good a manager he was for us.

Plan A for Warburton worked, but only against what he expected. He had no plan B.

The point I'm making though is - what is the report card asked for in the thread ? The pupils have been largely guff. The teacher changed mid season. The new teacher had to work with what the old one left him.

There can't be much debate about our squad. Just about every one of them failed and there's no point in judging the current manager until he's had time to work with his own men.

The one thing I've been impressed by is his dropping of serial failures and giving youth a chance. That won't be enough next season but at least shows his thoughts are along the same lines as my own. If somebody is wasting a clean jersey then give a young boy a chance.

A very angry response to that last tweet. Strange. Do these same people think Walter Smith would have celebrated 3rd place the same way?

    Pedro's 'bouncy' = Ronny's 'roar'

Jackson is a fecking fanny. Who gives a monkeys what he has to say about Rangers ?

That is not a criticism of you Ian btw.

  4. Warburton was a disaster but we have a new manager. Those who were patently not good enough should be moved on, but going by their performances who would pay any of them more than the minimum wage ?

We got above where I expected us to end up. I'd keep very very few.

No need for anywhere near an A4.

Next seasons report card will be worth reading. Warburton is why we ended up with dozens of wasted clean track suits. He's now gone.

  5. Rangers 3 - 1.

    FGS - Tavernier.

" PEDRO CAIXINHA has made five changes to his Rangers side to take on St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park this afternoon.

From the team that were defeated by Aberdeen in midweek, out go goalkeeper Wes Foderingham, Lee Hodson, Barrie McKay, Joe Dodoo and Joe Garner.

That means it’s a debut for goalkeeper Jak Alnwick in goals following his January move from Port Vale. In front of him will be a back four of James Tavernier, David Bates, Aidan Wilson and Myles Beerman.

In midfield, there is a first ever start for 18 year-old Jamie Barjonas, and he is joined there by Jon Toral, Josh Windass and Jason Holt. Up front, Martyn Waghorn will play with Kenny Miller.

There is also some interesting news on the bench with another 18 year-old in Kyle Bradley featuring alongside Foderingham, Academy players Ross Lyon and Serge Atakayi, Andy Halliday, Barrie McKay and Joe Dodoo. "

  6. PC wont't have chosen this guy,

how would he even know who he was?

Sorry JH but that is just simply sowing discord.

He knew practically nothing about Rangers before he arrived.

He's been here longer than 30 minutes.

If you have evidence of which shadowy figure is making appointments to the club without the approval of our manager I'd be obliged if you told the rest of us.

This is not the first time I've read here of a "he's not our manager signing" post.

Unless proof is provided it does nothing but harm to Rangers.

  7. Naismith is not a natural goal scorer neither him or Garner have any pace and Garner is only decent in the air not brilliant no way would that work we need a old fashioned number nine and a nippy striker with pace

I am amused by this Garners heading ability thing. It was only a couple of games ago we were talking about the ball coming off the corner of his head. He's managed to score from a talent every single football player should have before he ever got near a youth team .

  8. Might be a good strike partner for Garner.

To be honest RS, I don't see the problem as Naismith, rather with Garner.

The guy seems to have mental, never mind professional problems and I'd wager money that in 50% of European matches he'd suffer a rush of blood to the head seeing us reduced to 10 men with the subsequent loss of income.

Being truthful I'd have it written to that guys contract that a sending off saw him lose 6 months wages. That's how unstable I view that player. He's selfish, has very little ability and can in no way be regarded as a team player.

  9. The season he got injured (against Aberdeen ??) I thought he was our best player up until his injury. Playing the #10 role, just behind the striker was absolutely perfect for him because the timing of his runs in behind were reminiscent of Durrant (at least for me).

He's far better than any player we have - 30 or not.

It took him a wee while following his injury but he also returned to his previous form.

I'll agree, he's better than anything we currently have.

  10. " Nottingham Forest have been bought by Greek shipping magnate Evangelos Marinakis after his takeover was passed by the English Football League (EFL).

The businessman and Olympiakos owner is facing accusations of match-fixing in Greece but has passed the EFL's owners' and directors' test.

Marinakis' buyout brings to an end Fawaz Al Hasawi's five-year reign in charge of the Championship club.

A previous takeover by a United States consortium fell through in January.

In an exclusive interview with BBC Sport, Marinakis said that allegations he is involved in a "criminal organisation" were invented by "jealous" opponents to "destroy" his success with the Greek champions.

He was previously accused of being involved in the bombing of a referee's bakery but faced no action.

Marinakis, who is heading a consortium with Greek businessman Socrates Kominakis, denies all the claims and has not faced any charges. He is waiting to find out whether a remaining case against him will proceed, but says: "I have nothing to be afraid of and to worry about as I have done nothing wrong."

The EFL has approved the deal after reviewing the business plan and applying the owners' and directors' test. It saw no reason to disqualify the prospective owners under the test. The EFL also asked Uefa for its views on Marinakis' ownership of Olympiakos and received a positive response. "

  11. All of what you say is completely futile in the event that the Board member acting unilaterally ignores any and all actions by the remainder of the Board - and the issue is augmented when that Board member is also employed by the Club itself.

Which is why I held the opinion that C1872 should have been kept totally separate from the club itself. Nobody with connections to Rangers FC should have been allowed onto the board of C1872. It is fans money that's going into the club . Yes, invite them along to answer questions or to listen to points of view. But keep them separate.

We seem now to have a position where a Rangers employee is in control of much of the fans money. That should never have been allowed to happen.

  12. " Rangers defender Lee Hodson has gone on record today saying “it would be nice” to see Kyle Lafferty return to Ibrox. And he could get his wish very soon, with the bookies making it even-money for the Northern Irishman to return to Govan.

The former Gers forward has been open about his exit from Rangers being the “biggest regret” of his career.

But with the 30-year-old having now parted ways with Norwich City, and Pedro Caixinha reportedly keen on his signature, a move could well be on the cards. In fact, it’s 6/5 he joins the club as soon as this summer.

And there’s little doubt the former Canaries man would be an excellent addition to the Gers squad. "

    :swear:

  13. But the way, unless I am mistaken, Senderos, Wilson, and Kiernan are out injured, while Hill is suspended for Wednesday.

Wonder how our central defence will look like ...

No central defence, a midfield posted missing in action, and a centre forward who couldn't score in a brothel - things could be better.
