  1. The beggar liar JJ has Rod down as part of the orange/masonic conspiracy keeping Rangers in business.
  2. " Hibs have released a statement backing the SFA's decision to reject an independent review into the Rangers tax case. The Easter Road club have responded to supporters enquiring about their position on the matter just days after Aberdeen chairman Stewart Milne also threw his weight behind the SFA's stance. The game's governing body wrote to member clubs on Thursday to announce it would not take part in any review proposed by the Scottish Professional Football League , claiming "raking over the coals" would damage the game. 3. There was a reporter/mouthpiece on sportsound just before our Saturday match who said he'd phoned around every club a few months ago and again a couple of days ago and could find nobody to support Liewells position. Not one.
  4. What I took as interesting while listening to the radio on Saturday was where it was stated that the SPFL committee voted unanimously to call for an investigation. The committee included our guy Stewart Robertson. I can only think the question was - an investigation into the SFA - and not - an investigation into Rangers.
  5. The mank backed SFSA now join the queue of spectators at the gallows. -- " THE Scottish Football Supporters Association have backed calls for a review into the governance of our game. The move comes after the Scottish FA wrote to the SPFL confirming that it would not participate in any overview in the aftermath of the Rangers EBT case. It was confirmed in July that League chiefs would impose no further sanctions on Rangers for their use of the tax scheme during Sir David Murray’s Ibrox reign. That verdict was delivered after calls in some quarters for the case to be re-opened despite the outcome of the independent commission that was headed by Lord Nimmo Smith four years ago. The SPFL called on their Hampden counterparts to take part in a review looking at the way the authorities have dealt with non-payment of tax, the application of their rules and the sufficiency of new regulations that have come into force. And SFSA chairman Simon Barrow believes the spotlight should shine on the corridors of power at the National Stadium. He said: “The Scottish game has had a governing body for 144 years and in that time its performance has never been publicly evaluated. "Unlike most industries there is no watchdog, no independent evaluation or review of performance on how the game is run. "There are many issues within the game that fans have real concerns about but as it stands the governance rules within the game mean that no-one outside knows if a good job is being done by the SFA and the SPFL or not. “We believe it is unhelpful for the SFA to try to avoid such scrutiny at this time. We also believe that this highlights the weaknesses in the Board Structures at Hampden Park that need addressed in the future. "It is our view that is essential for the SFA to reverse its decision and to start to repair some of the significant damage done to its image and reputation by being open honest and transparent to all its stakeholders.” " Who'da thunk it, eh ?
  6. Colin - I believe that post was made before McIntyre made his statements in court. The manks have swamped them since. The BTC loss also did not assist. We've now moved on from using a tax scheme that failed to telling outright lies to the SFA to get a euro licence. Btw, I am NOT saying it happened. But that is what is now being alleged.
  7. What they are saying is, there was no dispute. HMRC sent a bill and Rangers didn't pay it. The March date is where the confusion comes in Colin. The allegation is that at least 2 Rangers employees/directors lied to the SFA. They say the bill to HMRC was due before March, there were no negotiations ongoing so it should have been declared as an "overdue". Guys, I'm only repeating what is being said elsewhere. Quite probably the deluded have once again been sold a pup and someone is [again] making money from their obsessions . However, imo there is no doubt that things are happening in the background from senior sellik people attempting to stick the boot into us [again].
  8. Rangers have already stated they would defend the titles no matter the cost. I suspect that's what scared the SFA from simply phoning the Daily Record to announce a number of Rangers titles had been disqualified. I now expect a large cheque from an anonymous donor to arrive at Hampden in the near future.
  9. McIntyre appears to be saying that the bill was overdue and there were no ongoing discussions with HMRC. The bill was due and hadn't been paid. If that is true then Rangers were therefore lying to the SFA when stating that no debts were due is what they are saying. How much truth there is in that I've no idea, but we both know that this whole bandwagon isn't going to stop. Knowing the SFA have drawn a line under matters, apart from the compliance officer now getting involved, they've just gone up the ladder and once again tried to involve UEFA.
  10. McIntyre's evidence at Whytes trial is what's causing the present storm in a teacup. The "ongoing discussions with HMRC " to get the UEFA licence is now being twisted to there were no ongoing discussions and the debt was due. Rab, you and I both know this one will be running on and on. I expect Liewells letter to UEFA will now get pulled out of a drawer and subject to further scrutiny. Don't be renewing a passport if all you want to do is go watch us abroad.
  11. Rab, this one isn't going away. What hasn't been said in the o.p. above is that the SFA most definitely ARE looking to punish Rangers for lies told during the granting of our european licence. It all came out during the Whyte trial when it was alleged the wee tax case thing was hidden by us. Look to our next licence getting suspended for a couple of years. Mark my words mate.
  12. If the online threats/promises/predictions/fairy tales/money-making scams are to be believed, there will indeed be a proper enquiry at a judicial hearing. Funnily enough, their end game is to bring down the SFA. Now, they even have Rod Petrie as part of the "illegal conspiracy" to keep us going as a club.
  13. I'll be honest here Scott - I can only speak about those I saw and remember. I did see Eric play. But I was very young.
  14. World class ? Baxter and no others. We've had many many good/great players. But none of them stood out like Baxter in his prime did.
  15. Did you ever see the guy play mate ? The managers may well have told him where to play. But he didn't handcuff himself to O'Halloran at the same time. Probably all of us on here saw him play before he came to Rangers. We probably all know what assets he showed then. However, had that guy shown even 50% of the attention and effort when playing for us he may well only be getting half the abuse he's receiving here now. Loafing around on a wing looking disinterested or being unable to beat any defender at any time in any match is simply not going to endear you to anybody. The guy is pure and simply a chancer imo.
  16. MOH might have a point if he'd been playing every week, sweating buckets and chasing everything on the park. The fact that he was deemed unworthy of wasting a jersey on following the few games he did actually take part in, says all I need to know about him as a player. During his short period at Ibrox I saw a player who quite simply couldn't give a monkeys about doing what we paid him to do or advancing his career. He's yet another in a long line of wasters who thought they'd finally "made it" and chucked it the day after signing for us. He is no loss and I just hope we don't make the mistake we made with Boyd and bring him back. Because imo he'll do the same thing again.
  17. If a professional footballer, indeed any athlete, isn't supplying 100% effort and performance then he's either a dumpling or a fraudster. To be honest, with most of the guys we let go, I'd prefer to call them fraudsters.
  18. I've been collecting for a few years now but missed out on this years as they sold out straight away. Just to make the guys here aware - a new order of them has obviously arrived and they are currently on sale again. http://rsea.org.uk/badges/
  19. I'd put money on it getting shut down not long after opening. That's where the pyro will be going off.
  20. Cooper couldn't get a game for Rangers and White was considered by many as the original "ghost" , certainly when it came to playing for Scotland - he was fecking anonymous. A great club player. The template for many Anglos who followed. Garbage.
  21. Really DB ? How many signings under Warburton would we consider as being good ? That is taking consideration of the weekly criticism of those he did sign who are still actually worth the cost of a clean jersey. A list of Warburton players you'd pay money to watch may come as a surprise to some of us here mate.
  22. And his main failure was part A - players who "would do us a turn". A squad full of dumplings will not get you a contract renewal.
  23. Which was exactly what Warburton promised us when he first arrived. I'd a feeling our support wouldn't accept that though - we don't have the patience to wait on youngsters and the very few who do actually produce a return we don't like to see sold.
