  1. And right on time the tramp beggar liar steps forward to gather up some more Giro money from them -

" If the RTC blogger would care to contact me, and work in unison with me, I will initiate crowdfunded legal redress. Should we both continue to be mindful of our anonymity we will require a third party to front our consortium. I would invite John Clark who contributes to the SFM.

So why not go it on my own? I can barely raise enough money to pay the rent and I have not had a holiday since starting this site and being forced into exile. A kind reader has offered me a coach flight and free accommodation with his family in Buenos Aires, but I would not turn up without the means to buy him a bottle of red wine in gratitude. "

    :laugh2:

Go ahead lads. Send him some more of your hard earned. :flipa:

  2. It looks like another load of mank Giro money has gone to fund some well heeled solicitors .

" “In response to the SFA’s refusal, a process was undertaken by fans to investigate whether a Judicial Review of that refusal was possible. A national firm of Solicitors was engaged, and they in turn instructed a prominent QC to provide opinion on the matter.

The Opinion, which we accept, is that the SFA were entitled to refuse the SPFL request. It is irrelevant whether this refusal was illogical, self serving or protectionist. There is not a case in law to force the SFA to comply with even a perfectly reasonable request which is in the best interests of the game in Scotland.”

    :flute:

I wonder what Muirhead and the other fannies will dream up next for the deluded bastards to crowdfund.

Can I be the first to say, getitupye ! :roflmao:

  3. Regarding Moult, are clubs even allowed to approach and speak to the player prior to the January window?

Motherwell manager said the other night that they offered him plenty of cash to stay but he wants away. He also said that if an acceptable offer comes in January the player will be allowed to leave. If their valuation is not met then he'll be kept until the end of the season.

I'd take from that the players agent will be free to talk to anyone.

  4. I'd say it's preferable for people involved in the running of any football club to reside fairly close. It's not essential but I don't think it's ideal when our main shareholder resides in the Southern hemisphere.

It's easier to get a feel for something when you're closer to it more often. Perhaps if King interacted with Rangers people face to face a bit more often he'd get a better perspective.

Mind you, I'm a bit old fashioned.

I'm afraid I have to take a counter point there mate.

We are in an electronic age with instant contact between folk available 24 hours a day.

We also employ staff at great cost to manage the day to day running of the club. These guys are inside Ibrox every day.

The major shareholders at BP or any other big company won't be clocking in at 8 am Monday to Friday. They are there for the important financial decisions and not to soothe the fevered brow of whatever star they have within their company.

  5. If I remember correctly Scott was the guy mentioned on all the mank forums as having been involved in dodgy accounting and banned from the stock exchange over there.

Of course the mank financial geniuses had identified the wrong man and our fellow was above board.

  6. Kris [fast becoming a complete fud] Boyd has his say --

" Rangers will have to back Derek McInnes in the transfer market if he takes over at Ibrox, says Kris Boyd.

The former Rangers striker reckons the first team squad needs strengthened if they are to establish themselves as the second best team in the Premiership and close the gap on Celtic.

However he does NOT think an overhaul is required. "

Er, remind me Kris, which club is sitting second in the league having handed out two scuddings in a row to "Scotlands second club" ? :whistling:

  7. Its an odd one Pete and since you're an ex-pat I'm assuming you'll not really know much about it other than a headline perhaps?

I can understand why Gonzo is whining because it'll affect the price of alcopops and cheap drink like Thunderbird and his Mad dog 20/20 but wont affect the price of a bottle of single malt for me or in your case the price of your bottle of Bolly. :D

As far as I understand there will be no increase in the price of Buckfast and other "tonic wines".

That is the real scandal in all of this imo.

  8. I am not saying certain judges may be inclined to give a Rangers supporter a heavier sentence but you can only really judge when all sentences are from the same judge. Some judges just give stiffer sentences than another. I had the belt from 2 male teachers when I went to school. One had a thin belt and he hit us really soft because he hated punishing kids in that way. The other had a belt he called Excaliber that was so thick it stood erect without bending. He really went out to hurt you as well and if you pulled away you got double. Your hands stung for ages after getting belted

You would need to look at every judge individually over a number of cases involving all supporters groups to see if he has a bias.

My teachers belt which also stood up by itself was called Nebuchadnezzar.

  9. Colin, that was the roof floodlights as I remember them from the 60's.

The pylons were before that and were done away with when the roof over the Govan terracing [above the Derry] got extended.

  10. I'd given my ticket to a friend. Then my son in law couldn't make a match so asked me if I'd use his tickets and take my grandson to the game.

I wandered up to the Broomloan only to be told by the wee man that his seats were in the Copland.

I'd just assumed they'd have seats at the other end.

To answer your question mate - no idea. Sorry.

  11. According to Radio Scotland (Ah ken, Ah ken) various Rangers' movers, shakers and not quite decision makers have been briefing various poison pens, unofficially , for weeks, that McInnes was, and remains the principal target. Only God knows why it has taken so long:

    - is financial compensation a problem?

    - are there splits within the board(s)?

    - is it all Machiavellian prevarication to upset and destabilise the scrapies' team?

-did another, better- despite the briefings- candidate let the Club down? Perhaps more than one?

-is his backroom team a problem?

    -is he uncomfortable working to/with a D of F?

    - is the Club just an amateur night out, with all the statements and talks of process, diligence, etc., merely a smokescreen?

-is McInnes just the cheapest option who might, just might, be acceptable to the support?

Only one thing is for sure: if McInnes is appointed now, it will be a bigger damp squib than his Aberdeen team.

You said it in the first line there mate - " According to Radio Scotland "

Yesterday pre match BBC Radio Scotland had an interview with McInnes. They then quoted Sky Sports sources when referring to our manager.

How the feck would BBC Radio Scotland know what was going on at Ibrox ?

  12. He is being considered for wrong reasons in my opinion. Mainly because he has a Rangers background. That's fine but for me his CV simply isn't good enough.

50-odd matches for the club and being shipped off to play elsewhere doesn't make a Rangers man for me mate.

He might be a Rangers supporter but then so are umpteen thousands of us and none of us are being considered.

  13. I look at it from this perspective - McInnes kept Abersheep as second best in Scotland. They never seriously challenged the manks.

In the past week his side played a team with a temporary manager who had just lost in successive games to the sides who were bottom of the league.

At no point in those matches against us did his tactics threaten us in any way nor did his half time changes make any difference. Both times he was well beaten.

Why is this guy even being considered ?
