  1. Charlie Adam quite rightly got booed . He had an inflated estimate of his own talents while wearing a Rangers jersey. Also correctly he got punted. I'd be interested in reading your "facts" as none appear so far in what you've posted. There are no "facts" when it comes to Adams performances for Rangers. Apart that is from the fact he was garbage. I sat week after week watching that chancer pick up a wage while he was impersonating a professional footballer. He's given himself a shake and is worth money now ? Good on him. But I'd put money on him still being a lazy unfit player if he was still with us right now.
  2. Are you seriously saying that either or both together ever was worth anywhere near £30 million given their displays in Rangers jerseys ? Were you at the game caller ?
  3. He's had more money than the rest of Scottish football put together and hasn't managed a treble. The money the English clubs get would only see him become an even bigger failure than he already is.
  4. It was 1964 mate.
  5. He has a house next to Ill Phil.
  6. I was in the main stand for that match. I think Duns are out of the game now.
  7. "Celtic legend David Provan has criticised Rangers in The Scottish Sun for selling Charlie Adam and Ross McCormack. Midfielder Adam, now on the books of Premier League side Stoke City, joined Blackpool from Rangers in 2009. Fulham’s McCormack, who can play as a striker or as a winger, left the Gers for Motherwell in 2006. Provan, who played for Celtic in the 1970s and 1980s, has criticised Rangers for selling the two England-based players “for buttons”. “Came across Charlie Adam at Stoke last weekend,” the former Scotland international winger wrote in The Scottish Sun. “He is struggling to get into Mark Hughes’ side right now, but Stoke’s £4million capture of the then Liverpool midfielder took Adam’s transfer fees north of £10m. “Elsewhere Middlesbrough have had an £8m offer for Ross McCormack turned down but will up their bid. With 17 goals already this season McCormack’s £11m switch from Leeds has proved good business for Fulham. Makes you wonder why Rangers allowed both Murray Park graduates to leave for buttons.” http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/01/25/rangers-criticised-by-david-provan/? Here's an idea - why not stick to talking garbage about something you know about ? Neither were good enough imo. That's why they went.
  8. I've held the view for a long time now Ian that Rangers forums like this and many others are "following the rules" when it comes to comment . Quite properly too as we'd be shut down quickly due to mass complaints by the obsessed if we strayed . Compare and contrast with the sheer number of forums set up my mankies to look into absolutely anything relating to Rangers. Forums where evrything feeds off lies, rumour or fantasy thought up by folk like Gillivan and his ilk. There have been countless examples of blogs which were downright libellous where nobody took action to fight the lies or where fans could not find a figurehead like an MP to bring the matter up. Right now outside the Rangers family imo we are perceived as a toxic brand. Most of it done by the aforesaid lies, etc. I'd like to think that perhaps when a few end up behind bars in a couple of months time we'd have sensible folk think that what was done to Rangers was a scandal and see us as victims. In real life though I just know that's not going to happen. The obsessed are still writing to UEFA, the government and anybody else they can think of questioning how we were granted a licence to play football in the first place post-Whyte. When the criminal cases are over with nobody will ponder on what was actually done to Rangers. It'll all have been our fault and we deserved everything that was done to us [and more]. As to getting more Rangers fans online, the clatties have one great advantage, they don't actually support any team. They simply spend their time hating Rangers. I'll guarantee the majority of them couldn't find Parkhead with a sat-nav. They have nothing better to fill their lives with so will continue obsessing and spreading lies.
  9. I passed that curry house a few weeks ago when going to get my visa to go on holiday. Back in the early 70's it was a pub/function venue called The Three Pigeons. It was very popular with us guys holding nights out for stag do's, weddings, finished apprenticeship, etc.
  10. Both mate. They are in charge of every aspect of the media.
  11. The Scottish Football Monitor. It's one of the sub-groups of mutant experts who know everything about Rangers. All the usual suspects are involved.
  12. "A blog, believed to have been set up by the same ‘Bears Fightback’ group that started the petition, was brought to attention on social media after journalist Graham Spiers raised concerns over the content of some the posts." Yeh, God forbid that a group of Rangers fans should set up an online petition to defend the honour of our club against blatant lies, libellous articles or slanderous interviews.Quick, somebody phone the polis.
  13. I see that Ill Phil has disappeared under his rock again. The 18th was his last blog. Nothing on todays decision whatsoever. Maybe he's holding a meeting with another "informed source" inside his head and will come up with General Ashleys latest tank movements tomorrow ? Meanwhile in Narnia, the TSFM have somehow come up with the theory that as todays case was brought up to defend and protect Rangers Retails interests, Ashley will send the 70,000 bill from today to Rangers. You really do have to wonder what planet those idiots live on.
  14. When you read that judgement fully it is easy to see that this case was brought about purely by malice. The judge has obviously formed the same opinion. Ashleys lawyers may well have made a few bob from the proceedings but must be highly embarrassed at having to present such nonsense in court and holding themselves up to ridicule.
  15. We have been awarded interim costs of £70,000 . A hearing on gagging etc will be heard next month.

  17. I don't know if he's there. A couple of days ago he was covering some terrorist trial down south. He's still showing an interest though. Here is his latest, Corrupt official 16th October 2015 at 9:50 am #James Doleman tweeting live. https://twitter.com/jamesdoleman =============== Just had a look at the photos of Green and Whyte arriving. No baying mob, and all very civilised. Whoever decided to switch this hearing away from Glasgow should be applauded for actually showing a bit of common sense. Apparently there is currently some legal discussion inside the court on whether press and public should be admitted to the hearing.
  18. It wasn't so long ago that the smelly hack was watching from amongst the fans. I only wish he'd been sitting near me.
  19. Smashing article. Well done. A photo of one of my favourite albums too.
  20. Is anyone surprised at an investigation into Rangers ? Somebody questions the actions of the Parkhead plankton and a few days later the focus is firmly on us again. 8 months ago there was an enquiry into Motherwell. We're still waiting to find out what the result is. There will still be Rangers fans who'll continue to bankroll these bastards too.
  21. The SFA are a bunch of amateur penpushers and have been since they were formed. They don't have the courage to stand up to UEFA or FIFA. Then again, given the amount of money swilling around the top leagues in Europe there is no chance of somebody like Bayern or Barcelona demanding entry into the EPL, the only scenario I could ever imagine that would force UEFA to look at this whole idea with any more than a dismissive sneer. It's a debate that comes up online every few years. Some of the ideas pushed forward in an attempt to justify even the most brief debate are bordering on the idiotic in my humble opinion BH.
  22. I regarded the matter as settled because the exact rules you were saying you did not have access to right now were quoted and posted on the thread in the forum. As for going against FIFA or UEFA, the SFA are empowered via those two bodies and as I was saying earlier, it would be Rangers and any other pirate club seeking to set up a league outwith the normal set-up who would be sanctioned by the two top bodies. One thing I do and always have agreed with is it is never going to happen. The English don't need us. They make plenty as things are right now.
  23. What good would a pirate association do for us pete ? Even if we got 16 or so clubs from wherever to play us on a weekly basis we would not have access to European and our players banned from international competitions. Then there is the safety certificate and policing issues to get around. What chance the police attending to cover say Rangers v Newcastle at Ibrox while a Scottish semi final or final is being held at Hampden ?
  24. Believe me BH, the SFA have the power to prevent ANY football match taking place in Scotland. I remeber a very long thread on the FF board many years ago when this very point was debated and settled.
  25. It might take some time but once the toxidity starts working it's only a matter of time before Ashley, the same as every other powerful businessman fails.
