  1. I see James Doleman is reporting that Waggy is injured because of repetative penalty injury. What a maggot.
  2. Slaggerty now tweeting that she will be back at the Herald doing her column from this Sunday.
  3. I've noticed quite a few movies where when someone is watching football on tv in other countries it is a Scottish match that's being shown. It must cost a lot less to get the rights for our games.
  4. There was a version out in the early 60's which had the crowd cheering our goals our goals against Dundee in the cup final in the background when the line "A goal a goal" was sang..
  5. Just yesterday it was said he was needing a rest. He should come beck refreshed just when we need him. Go for it Waggy.
  6. I was on a 3 day holiday break away and found myself amongst a lively although slightly dim bunch of girls, one of whom continualy pushed the point that she was a clattie from Motherwell. My lesson from history that we Rangers fans made a habit of singing "Go home ya huns" as the sellik fans streamed out of the ground time after time didn't settle too well with that young girl.
  7. To be fair 26th, we sang it first - again. I recall it being belted out in the late 60's from our end. That was the way we looked at them then. Tramps and animals.
  8. Even though the song was written by a Dublin born catholic.
  9. I think that related to "Bouncy bouncy" Pete. Even though we posted footage of our fans singing it at a match several years before said catholic got jumped.
  10. "We are the people" was the subject of a long thread on McConvilles website a few years ago. Not one of the mock offended knew where it originated. Even after being told they wouldn't accept the answer and continued to call posters liars/ draw their own conclusions/make up fairy tales/ post links to folk even more obsessed and deluded than themselves. They did the same with Penny Arcade which will surely be the next target.
  11. They already know that Colin. They've were told years ago. However that doesn't stop them getting offended all over again and if Rangers buckle once again it won't stop them going after something else. I said at the time, a line should have been drawn in the sand when they complained about TBB. They won't ever be happy .
  12. Green peperami's, grass cut like sashes, sectarian potatoes. Really, is there anything at all that lot won't stoop to ? If a quarter of their energy was put into actually supporting their own team they would be bigger than Real Madrid.
  13. "Some say it’s a reference to Ulster, and the notion of “Protestant Supremacy.” Some say it wound up in use at Ibrox via the Govan shipyards of Harland and Wolff, one of the most notoriously anti-Catholic and anti-Irish employers on the planet. Their Belfast operation was profoundly Unionist and Loyalist and these practices were exported to Glasgow when the Govan yard laid its first keel. Wherever it comes from, isn’t it time they dispensed with it? " I don't know why I'm offended. But I am. What a shower of deluded half-witted diddies they are.
  14. Steven Whittaker v Sporting Lisbon. Yet another fantastic night abroad watching the Gers.
  15. It's in here mate I'll go for Jaws 3 inch screamer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKNrlG-vqHw
  16. Yep. That house and the renovation of the roof is another one that could yet come back to haunt him. The way the repair was arranged via one of his companies and how vat was not paid is something for the future I'm certain. I just hope they wait until he's released before taking that one up.
  17. The same way as someone paid his mortgage ?
  18. You'd hope that whoever owns the flat got his rent in advance.
  19. The saying "his second touch is a tackle" certainly applies to our Kenny.
  20. Are Hamburg not something like 100 million in the red BH ? There's a billionaire fan or something who keeps them going.
  21. While agreeing with just about everything there, an observation from my viewpoint about Gazza - we all loved seeing the man in a Rangers jersey. But if you asked anybody outside Scotland which team they associate him with I doubt many would say Rangers. He was a star and probably a football legend. I'm old enough to have seen a few Rangers legends and wouldn't consider Gazza to be one. Just my opinion Scott.
  22. I've always thought that a player is worth somewhere between what we value him at and how much another side need and rate him at. Some failures have been bought and sold for way way above what they produced. Over the years we even signed a few of them ourselves. Sticking with McKay, I've no idea what he would be sold for but I suspect that even at the level he is playing at, he is a prospect who could bring in good money if a manager somewhere decided he needed him.
  23. You've lost mme a bit there Bear. If you mean which guy said it, it is Buster. Quote " ‘Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.’ George Santayana " If you mean that one single group wouldn't be in the best interests of Rangers and our fans then I'd ask you to look back at the past couple of years where folk involved in the various fans groups and funding schemes have taken to the web to attack the other groups. All they did was give the appearance of division and provide ammunition for the clatties who, in their usual way, twist what is being said and spead further to make us all look stupid. I've no idea what your last bit means.
  24. If at this time, despite all we've gone through in the past few years, we can't get together and form ONE body then as one guy here says, we are on the way to repeating the mistakes of our past. This is a very important time in our history. The only thing to stop us going forward is ego. There are not enough blazers to go around and some should simply accept that fact.
  25. I'm sure I heard a couple of weeks ago that Tiny was very ill - a stroke or similar. My apologies if I've misheard this and got it wrong. In any case her and her mother truly are Rangers legends.
