We deserved our win yet again. Well done our guys. The referee should be banned from ever taking charge of another match.

I'll be honest and state that I couldn't care less who's in charge of the skidmarks next season. But Stubbs couldn't feck things up any more than that Scandanavian tosser has done. They seem to have brought in about a hundred players and not one of them is an improvement on what left. They are a shambles of a club and it won't take much for them to lose a title.

RST Write to Senior SNP Figures Over IRA Pub Visit
boabie replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Lifted from a skidmark forum - " Older fans speak almost in embarrassment of the shocking tackle Bertie Auld perpetrated on Davie Provan (no, not that one!), which broke the Rangers full-back's leg back in the 1960s. Most fans rated Provan as a fair player, and would rather Bertie had "done" someone like Greig or McKinnon. " I must admit I never ever heard anyone consider Ronnie McKinnon as anything else but a fair player. -

I think one or two haven't read the full thread and are under the impression that the RST have commented on the tweet rather than the SNP visit to the terrorist slophouse. -
The tax case has no bearing on our club as it stands right now. I suspect there will be no thoughts of a share issue until the criminal trial involving Whyte, etc is done and dusted.

The law enacted by the Labour party was every bit as bad mate. Both are awful in saying that. -
The day is approaching when clubs themselves will get heavy fines or points deductions for fan misbehaviour. Imo this will come about as politicians threaten closure of grounds unless they clean up their act. Naturally those running football don't want to spend any of their own money so turned to the taxpayer. For now they can tell the politicians they at least attempted some sort of action.

I'm a long standing member of the RST Pete. But you won't find me defending many of their actions. The time to be pro-active was many years ago when the attacks on our club and support started. -

Sorry Pete but the SNP are the party who following on from legislation introduced by the Labour party brought in laws which could easily see any Rangers fan arrested and jailed over a wooly act who's definition has never been explained to us. "Anybody" being "offended" or any police officer determining that "anybody" may be "offended" by any song, chant or act, not to mention online posting could see an arrest or door kicked in at 5 am. The fact those MSP's see fit to walk into a bar widely known to have patrons who not only sing the praises of terrorists but actively support them should be a worry to every citizen of this country. Finally, if not the RST, who else ? -
I was at a funeral yesterday so understandably knew nothing about this match until I logged on here earlier. As MW says, it is still up to us to do the business but I don't think there's any question - Hibs blew any slight chance they had of catching us.

C****c fined €13,000 by UEFA over Fenerbahce disorder

" It was the seventh time in just over three years for incidents involving their fans in European competition." That says it all really. Maybe it's time to stop their fans disrupting matches and ban them ? -
Leighton had the cheek to say to Coop, "You know I almost caught that one" Coop said, "Aye, on the way out."

I meet socially with one of the guys who has been investigating and working on this case. While not giving away any secrets to me or anyone else it's fair to say they have every confidence that this one is wrapped up tightly. <snip> -

Accused persons have the right to face trial and be judged by their peers. I'd be very surprised if any criminal trial in Scotland could be held in the manner you mention. -
Rangers First board election: Gersnet's voting poll...
boabie replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
As predicted , the whole thing is starting to come apart at the seams. Even before the vote there were sideshows and cliques forming. Unless the folk contributing are told exactly what is happening and minutes published promptly this will go the same way as other schemes in the past - money will stop going in. I'm certainly giving it more than a thought right now. Sad to say. -
RFFF statement - youth development at Auchenhowie proposed
boabie replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The main problem is, I doubt there is any way to contact those who contributed . -
Imo his main asset is his ability with his feet. Defenders can feel more comfortable when they have the out of a keeper to pass to. Thinking of Klos proves that one for me. I'll agree, Wes had a good game yesterday.

I was in my dads car with the rest of my family heading to the Elliot Junction caravan site in Arbroath for a holiday that day. We heard the grand national result on the car radio. I must admit, reserve matches weren't my bag. -
Is that balloon not playing in India or somewhere nowadays ?

Who was the last outfield player to have played in goal for Rangers?
boabie replied to Crimson Dynamo's topic in Rangers Chat
I remember big Davie Provan going in goal, Davie Wilson moving to left back and Billy Ritchie going to outside left in a match against the skidmarks. Also the England v Scotland match at Wembley in 1965 where England more or less ended the match with 9 men due to injuries. -

It was before I joined here BH and excuse me if I'm addressing the wrong man, but did posting minutes of a meeting not previously cause both discord amongst the support online and bother to your good self mate ? -
"MARK WARBURTON has admitted Martyn Waghorn's season could be over as he called for plastic pitches to be BANNED in the top flight. The Rangers boss spoke out after his star striker picked up an injury at Kilmarnock that will rock the Gers’ glory bids. Twenty-eight goal Waghorn went off immediately after winning and scoring a fourth-minute penalty before the Championship leaders went on to win 2-1 in their William Hill Scottish Cup fifth-round replay on Tuesday. And Warburton said: "He is seeing a specialist today in London to get a more detailed report. "There is no surgery required which is most pleasing. Hopefully he will be back for the end of the season, but there is a possibility he won't, it depends how his recovery progresses." http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rangers-boss-mark-warburton-wants-7402728?
