The referee will be the most important piece of the jigsaw. Who'd put money on us getting a fair shake ?
-
They would probably find the song offensive and complain about us.
-
Going over the circumstances of the resolution it reads that their complaint is about Rangers being given licence to play in Europe shortly before things went tits up. It would seem their main grump right now is their own board already told them they had the matter in hand but have in fact done nothing.
-
"In fact, us being sent to Division 3 is what is 'unprecedented' and so actually is worthy of investigation." The punishment was a bit more than that BJ. We were thrown out of the SPL and had to be invited back in to football by the lower league clubs mate. As far as the top teams were concerned they couldn't care less whether anyone would play us or not. That's the reason they'll never receive another penny of my money.

Basically the sellik shareholder put a resolution to their board, resolution 12, demanding the board make enquiries with the SFA as to why and how the SFA granted Green a licence for us to play football. Their board prevented the resolution being debated. The skidmarks went into a corner, stamped their little feet and wet their pants yet again. Since then clowns like BRTH have been pestering sellik, the SFA, SPFL, UEFA, the government and anybody else who'll listen that it's just not fair.

Club1872 proposal (i.e. fan group amalgamation) now published
boabie replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
" Independence is a must, but how independent is a body that elects a member of the club board and a club ambassador? I'd prefer to see members with any link to the club removed from any election to the new C1872 board." I'll be honest Rousseau, I don't understand what the rush to get these guys involved in the first place was. As said before, I want any fans group I'm involved with to stand totally apart from the club . Supporting financially or whatever, yes. But able and ready to hold them to account too if all is not well. -
I saw a player last weekend I thought might be an asset. Tall lanky guy with his hair in a bun. Was he maybe playing for Ross County or Inverness ?

According to a mate who knows, cops working at a match are not briefed until the day of the game. This has obviously been leaked by somebody in the operational planning department.

Club1872 proposal (i.e. fan group amalgamation) now published
boabie replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
" 5% - Club 1872 administration costs. ". I know that there is an option to reduce that cost later and maybe someone can point me to where that cost is justified, but it seems excessive to me at first glance. I'm merely making an observation and am willing to be corrected. -
The RSL ? It is composed of McMurdo and about 4 others silly enough to send him money to join. File under "ignore" imo.

Rab, taking the scenario of a cozy relationship between Murray and LBG to its limit would not explain the following, " It is also believed Lloyds Banking Group will now write off the remaining bank debt due from MIH, stated at the 2013 year end to be £346.6 million. " The link here alludes to the deals you mention - http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/business/business-news/exclusive-sir-david-murray-director-4991621

Murray dumped us because he wanted to. It's as simple as that. He got a prize mug who was working to his own ends to buy us for a quid while taking on all responsibility for settling the tax case in the event we lost it. In other words he ran away knowing full well what would happen to us.
-
You just answered the point I was making Rab. If Rangers represented only 3% of the MIH debt to LBG why did Murray feel the need to dump us into the pocket of Whyte ? Murray got himself into debt to LBG - his fault. It didn't matter whether LBG wanted rid of us. They could do nothing unless Murray signed the contracts. Murray walked away and should be held personally responsible for the debts remaining to companies connected to our club.
-
I think I'm correct in thinking that appeals went from a 3 man panel to a 5 man panel up to a 7 man panel if there were serious points of law to be debated. I dare say though that's all changed now because of the Supreme court thingy.
-
Unless they strapped Murray to a chair and started caressing him with an electric cattle prod he wasn't forced to do anything Rab. Murray liked to flash his wealth. He was never out the papers bumming about it. The EBT idea was down to him. His shifting wealth to the property market just before it all crashed was another mistake he made. He had the bare faced cheek to syphon off parts of our club for his own interests but then dump us to the first penniless fly-by-night who appeared just to get out of the debts he had left us with. To top it all off he then comes out with the lie that he didn't know what Whyte was all about. Jesus Christ, there were Rangers fans talking online about what was coming before the ink was dry on the contract. Murray got himself into serious debt with LBG. That was HIS fault and nobody elses. Murray lost nothing. We did him a lot of good. That charlatan should be struck from the history of Rangers.
-
That Whyte got hold of Rangers is down to David Murray and nobody else. Murray is to blame for what happened to us.

Ashley is coming under increasing pressure from SD shareholders, government departments and others. He is fast becoming toxic. While I want him out of our club I think that King has played a blinder here - he holds out an olive branch with a view to incresing both companies profits. I suspect Ashley will refuse. More fool him.
-
Hills are giving you 7/2 for your money on us winning. That was the odds we got when Scotland beat England 3-2 at Wembley in 1967.
-
I can't see it that way at all Mac. Yes he has the retail contracts which imo will be looked at in great detail after Greens criminal trial. But apart from that I don't see him holding any influence at all on what we do. When his own company eventually crashes which it undoubtably will do I'd think a decent offer to buy out our contract will succeed.
-
They are an absolute disaster with a squad of players who have lost all confidence in the clown picking their team and are there for the taking. If we blitz them as we did yesterday we will win the match. A reserved approach will see us lose imo. The above discounts the usual referee anomalies which usually appear in those matches.
-
About 20 seconds after the draw was made the mobiles belonging to the 4 of us around our table were red hot. I've no idea the set up but can guarantee we will all be there.

If you turn away from the tv you would swear a St Mirren game was on. The only time you hear the Hivs fans is when they are howling and complaining about some decision not going their way. Are you St Mirren in disguise ?

1 - 0 to the skidmarks. Griffiths.
