  1. Who cares what fat boy says?,he just makes an arse of himself every time he opens his mouth. MW & Rangers do their talking on the pitch, bring it on

One thing I can promise right now Ian - next season guys like Fartson and Mutton will be pulling out every conspiracy theory there is when the skidmarks don't get a decision.

  2. Did this happen in the old days? I can't recall it in the 60s and 70s but my memory is shot. I'm curious as to when it started.

Yes it happened mate. As early as the 60's my dad used to park the car in one of the side streets up towards Mosspark Boulevard and we'd start heading out of the ground with maybe 10 minutes to go so we could get to the car and out onto a main road before the heavy traffic really began.

  3. " Starting a fight on how good or bad plastic parks are is just pathetic. "

That's all fair and well. But it isn't what happened.

Warburton criticised plastic pitches. Delilah then came out and criticised Warburton.

The article and Hartsons ignorant view read slightly different once you get your head around that one.

Scum effs at it again. Pelting the Morton fans with missiles.

:wtf: Where do these folk get their information from ?

  5. No problem mate, but for future reference we go to the Neptune club behind the rolls royce club:thup:

That's where I usually end up myself Ian. We've probably bumped into each other at some point.

  6. BTW, the sad loss of Billy Ritchie also showed us that the place where people come from does not matter in the slightest, if they are to play in a good team under a good coach.

Bathgate Thistle were and are a Junior team. This is not meant to drive the point home, just to a reminder what can happen in the game of football.

Billy was the keeper when I was a pup going to see the Gers.

  7. "RANGERS have announced the death of former Ibrox keeper Billy Ritchie after a short illness. He was 79.

Ritchie made 369 appearances for the Light Blues after joining the club from Bathgate Thistle in 1955 and won two league titles, four Scottish cups and three League cups during a successful Gers career.

Part of the famous Ibrox side of the 60's, Ritchie was an ever present for Rangers during the Treble winning campaign of 1963/64 and helped the Gers into the 1961 Cup Winners' Cup final. "

    Sad tidings indeed.

  8. I think there were times when Greenco wanted to punt him and he said no

I'll be honest colin , I wanted him punted along with the other failures from last season. The whole lot of them. I had my suspicions about McCoist and Co's abilities. Events since MW arrived prove them. I'm now glad Wallace stayed.

  9. My posh pal wouldn't be seen dead throwing a Buckfast bottle, he's taking an antique miniature ship in a bottle, if it doesn't smash, one of them could sell it on for a small fortune, so we're not all bad then.

If I manage to finish this in 90 minutes I'll make them a present of the empty.

  10. Scottish football is at it's lowest ebb,the SFA is weak and clueless on how to improve the Scottish game and are incapable of making any serious decisions, hating itself to death!

The reports yesterday on the lack of drug testing in Scottish football kind of sum up what is happening to our game. Seriously, when was the last time the clowns at the top of the SFA or SPFL actually came out and said anything of worth or showed the slightest interest in coming up with ideas to improve the situation ?

  11. I have a feeling that the dirty tricks campaigns of old will be resurrected in Ronny's hitherto powder puff team. Expect Scott Brown to be given licence to assault anything that moves and take a red card for it if need be. Griffiths is another who will attempt to rattle Danny Wilson and big Kiernan but I doubt they'll rise to it.

On a big pitch and with the majority of possession, they'll get frustrated very quickly.

The referee will be the most important piece of the jigsaw. Who'd put money on us getting a fair shake ?

  12. looks like Celtic Football Club are totally embarrassed by these bams and told them if they want to complain to contact the SFA themselves.

Going over the circumstances of the resolution it reads that their complaint is about Rangers being given licence to play in Europe shortly before things went tits up. It would seem their main grump right now is their own board already told them they had the matter in hand but have in fact done nothing.

  13. "In fact, us being sent to Division 3 is what is 'unprecedented' and so actually is worthy of investigation."

The punishment was a bit more than that BJ. We were thrown out of the SPL and had to be invited back in to football by the lower league clubs mate. As far as the top teams were concerned they couldn't care less whether anyone would play us or not. That's the reason they'll never receive another penny of my money.

  14. Having tried to read the "article" I still have no clue what the hell it's about.

One thing did become clear though....the is a lot of "may or may not" type phrases used.

Basically the sellik shareholder put a resolution to their board, resolution 12, demanding the board make enquiries with the SFA as to why and how the SFA granted Green a licence for us to play football. Their board prevented the resolution being debated. The skidmarks went into a corner, stamped their little feet and wet their pants yet again. Since then clowns like BRTH have been pestering sellik, the SFA, SPFL, UEFA, the government and anybody else who'll listen that it's just not fair.

  15. " Independence is a must, but how independent is a body that elects a member of the club board and a club ambassador? I'd prefer to see members with any link to the club removed from any election to the new C1872 board."

I'll be honest Rousseau, I don't understand what the rush to get these guys involved in the first place was. As said before, I want any fans group I'm involved with to stand totally apart from the club . Supporting financially or whatever, yes. But able and ready to hold them to account too if all is not well.
