  1. " DAVID McLAREN is desperately seeking Rangers supporter Brian Cassells, after a mix-up led to him being sent an Old Firm ticket he did not apply for. A Rangers fan is desperately trying to track down a fellow supporter - after mistakenly receiving their ticket for Sunday's Scottish Cup meeting with Celtic. Glasgow man David McLaren has followed his team for many years but, due to family commitments, has been unable to attend matches recently and is not currently a season ticket holder. So, he was shocked to open a letter earlier this week containing one of the sought-after briefs for the crunch Old Firm fixture. David said: "My wife called to say a recorded delivery item had arrived for me. I wasn't expecting anything, so I opened it up and it was a ticket for Sunday's match, from Ibrox, which came completely out of the blue. "I had not applied for one, and it had the name of a man called Brian Cassells on it, so I knew I had to do something." http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/you-mystery-man-rangers-fan-7755137?
  2. BBC Scotland would manage to make an erse of the world cup final. Consequently coverage of Scottish football by them is worthless if it's presented by a shower of dummies and halfwits.
  3. Do you mean someone like Kris Boyd ?
  4. I wonder if the fud watched the coverage on Sky of ra sellik yesterday. Mmmmmmmmmm, probably not.
  5. I'm delighted with what I've been hearing. Every player seems to push the line that we won't change our game no matter who we are playing. That fills me with confidence - attack the scum and we'll be in the final.
  6. Halliday, Foderingham and Tavernier up next.
  7. I really hope that the criminal trial shines some light on questions like that Rab.
  8. I think the drunk will be happier that his ticket "got lost" rather than he woke up in a cell the next morning facing a day at court with further possible consequences to his personal life. I take your point that summary justice appears nowhere in the list of duties of a cop. But I'm more practical in my outlook - the issue was dealt with and it cost the tax payer nothing.
  9. That is a different point colin. What I was discussing was Whytes takeover. Not Greens.
  10. The repayment to LBG was the same as the undertaking to implement £5 million of repairs and maintenance inside the stadium, as you say, a condition. The actual cost of transfer of ownership/control was only £1 though. When things started to go south, Murray had a clause in the sale contract where he could have taken Rangers back. I suspect we all know that wasn't the endgame that Murray or LBG wanted. If Whyte is found guilty then there is no comeback on Whyte. The allegation is that the fraud was committed against Ticketus, not LBG. As we understand it, Whyte had a solicitor who backed up the story that Whyte had personal wealth to repay LBG.
  11. The takeover was not fraudulent mate. Read through the charges and you'll see that is not what is being alleged. It was a straighforward sale with certain conditions attached. The alleged fraud came about through the repayment to LBg. As for Murray selling willingly - no crime was committed there and it has nothing to do with what later happened.
  12. I remember saying the same about Ibrox when I was a kid Coop.
  13. I don't see mine as sad at all RS. The guy was lucky he didn't get lifted for being drunk at the stadium. There was no way he was gaining entry. Had he asked for the tickets face value he'd have got it. Some bear got to see a match rather than a ticket going to waste.
  14. The takeover will not be fraudulent though Rab. Murray sold Rangers to Whyte for a quid. The related conditions where Whyte was to pay off LBG, invest in stadia improvement, etc are where the alleged frauds came about. A fraudulent scheme is the main charge. Yes, we all know what went on. Those outside our family however will simply harp back to Murray selling us to Whyte. In other words, it will remain our fault. There will be no contrition from those bassas.
  15. It was less than 2 years ago he was supposed to be going to Sheffield and treble his wages.
  16. They won't be getting my money either. And I love holding grudges.
  17. A few years ago at one of our finals at Hampden I saw a guy getting refused entry because he was bevvied. He tried to sell his ticket at over the odds causing a couple of Rangers fans to shout and bawl at him. A cop took the ticket off him and handed it to a bear before telling the drunk to beat it before he got lifted.
  18. A similar thought came into my head on Sunday there. It was my daughters birthday and I thought back to her 16th when I took her to Lisbon to see us defeat Sporting.
  19. He said: “I spoke to George Parsonage at the Glasgow Humane Society over the weeks and he was a great solace to me. " I take it that will be George's son, maybe also called George ? As far as I remember the father had retired a good few years ago.
  20. Last year I would have bought a replica for my house. Fortunately though the wee bigot who lived opposite me moved away a few months ago. I still have a smile thinking of his reaction when I hung a Union Flag out my upstairs window the day before the final in Manchester.
  21. The tarred one is currently firing out questions to GCC about meetings held between them and Rangers relating to redevelopment plans for the area surrounding Ibrox . Naturally, because Rangers are involved it is all down to conspiracy and state aid rather than renovating an area in need of it.
  22. That's true mate. But many predicted that he'd return to being a useless waste of a jersey 5 minutes after he re-signed for us.
  23. Very nice mate. I'll be in touch soon.
  24. As far as I thought, we can qualify if we've produced 3 years accountants books, which we will have complied with soon. Was that not why we couldn't play in Europe ?
  25. The manky mob have been very lucky in key games this season. A thing I've noticed is that any team going straight at them will get a result. They've got away with it because not many sides do attack them. I said here last week or so that if MW tells our guys to keep going forward we have a chance of winning. Only a fool would think we won't lose a goal. I don't see that as a problem though. The scum are nowhere near as good as they think they are. Oh, and put money on that Johanson guy getting sent off. He's a liability.
