Rangers 2 - 2 Celtic (Rangers win 5-4 after penalties)

The small squad have had a long season. I'd give the players a week off in the sun and then get them to knuckle down at Auchenhowie in the lead up to the final. -

I thought the same while watching but then gave it another thought - we were far far ahead of them in the first half without really doing that much that could go down as a "highlight". Anybody who has only seen the highlights would probably think the manks were unlucky. Anyone watching the whole game would see we played them off the park. Still I'll agree, they are most certainly hurting. -

I could see the point of their whining if we were taking our penalties at the opposite end from them but the ball was kicked by every player from exactly the same spot. They are also complaining that the throw in leading to our second goal should have been theirs. That mob have been the same throughout their history. Quite simply they have no class and will use any excuse rather than admit their over-hyped shower of losers were beaten on the day by a better side. -
If we get to Europe then fair enough but I don't see that as a priority. I think we're as far forward as we could be right now. A few decent signings and we'll be getting there. As long as we put in a decent league challenge building towards a title chase the next year I'll be happy. Today could and probably will see Delilah shifted and that won't do us any favours.

When I saw the penalties today were to be taken at their end I had a terrible feeling of deja vu. -

I heard the old scrote on the radio after the game. He was pig sick and is obviously in the vanguard of the campaign to get rid of Delilah. He's probably getting worried about next season. -

Drybrough cup final when we lost . Tommy McLean took one of the worst penalties I've ever seen. -
I'm almost certain that I heard MW just after he arrived, talk about getting young players to develop and selling them on for loads of money. He reckoned that was the only way a club could move forward.

I'm a very proud bear tonight. What was most pleasing for me was that our manager did exactly what I hoped - he told our players to play their normal game and attack the scum. It was the only way we were going to get a victory. Every man in our team was a hero today and gained a thoroughly deserved win. -

Something that crossed my mind today - should the manky mob beat us and go on to win against Hivs, will they be the first side to win the Scottish Cup without playing a team from the top division ? Btw, I still think we can win. -
Mo would end up with a sore face if he went anywhere near their support. It's only the craic mind you.

The SFA have always been a shambles. They were a bunch of no marks who became a bunch of no marks led by people who had no clue what they were doing but had relative success in world rankings. Recently they have turned into a clueless mob of very well paid no marks hanging on the word of Liewell and other manks.

I just googled it. Cal probably means something totally different.

"Atenism, or the Amarna heresy, refers to the religious changes associated with the eighteenth dynasty Pharaoh Amenhotep IV, better known under his adopted name, Akhenaten. In the 14th century BC, Atenism was Egypt's state religion for around 20 years, before subsequent rulers returned to the traditional gods and the Pharaohs associated with Atenism were erased from Egyptian records."

Rangers striker Martyn Waghorn: Let me play against Celtic
boabie replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
From the official site - " "MARTYN Waghorn will miss this Sunday’s Old Firm game after failing in his battle to make an early return to fitness. The striker suffered a knee injury back in February and had been working hard to try and get ahead of schedule to make the Scottish Cup semi-final. Waghorn has netted 28 goals this season in a blistering maiden campaign for the Light Blues and had hoped he could be fit enough to make the bench against Celtic but the manager confirmed the bad news at his press conference on Friday. Mark Warburton said: “Martyn Waghorn, as I said many, many times, will not be fit for the semi-final. " http://rangers.co.uk/news/uncategorised/waghorn-old-firm/? -
Celtic and Rangers heroes among football stars facing financial ruin

I don't know how long all this debate has been ongoing C but It was the government who recently changed the law at the budget to net anybody who benefited , not HMRC. -

I'd say they'll almost certainly try to do that mate. Where it differs from the film studio racket though is, one was ostensibly a "loan" and the other was a scheme to claim tax relief. -

At the last budget new rules which will apply retrospectively were brought in. This legislation targets the people who gained from the schemes personally rather than the companies who ran the scheme. -
Again, just under 6.55% of shares. They did control the proxies of BPH and Margarita Holdings but I suspect those will be under scrutiny post trial. I get what you're saying that all of those together can hold us back. I also suspect that Ashley wanted to buy out the Easdales but was prevented by SFA rules. After the high court case when every deal has been looked at my hope is all that crowd will go leaving Ashley to try to defend the retail contract.
