  1. It's the only power we have unfortunately.
  2. Do what you want, or feel comfortable doing. As a fanbase we couldn't organise a boycott of Tannidice, rid Rangers of David Murray but we did eventually get rid of the spivs. Personally, I'm not purchasing any more tickets (cup games and EL package). However, not matter what I, you or all Gersnet members do, nothing Will change. It'll take a majority of fanbase to act to get change. Don't think many have the appetite.
  3. Why should we accept another decade of mediocrity? This is Rangers Football Club, we appear to have forgotten this in the last two decades. If you are happy to accept year after year of finishing 2nd then fine, I'm NOT and never will be. The managers record is appalling but he deserves a chance with his own players. How many times do I have to say this? Do I think he is the manager to turn us around? No, but he deserves the opportunity to prove me wrong (and I'll be delighted to eat humble pie). The main problems lie outwith the manager and players, but think Clement should be doing better than he is. Until we get investment and / or the right people running the club we'll forever be 2nd best and will never improve. Again, if you're happy to accept and wait in hope (or expectation), fine. Just don't expect me to agree.
  4. Nope, we do our talking and gloating on the park.
  5. On a more positive note, or next three away games are Dundee United, Aberdeen and Killie - easy 9 points.
  6. Definitely not 'snidey" towards Clement. It was a naive (at best) comment as was his "moral victory" quote after the 3-3 game. I just don't think a Rangers manager should be "bigging up" a 6-0 victory over Ross County or claiming a moral victory in a 3-3 draw. He could simply have said that the performance (individual and collective) wasn't good enough and closed the interview there and then. If any snidyness in my reply was aimed to those within the support who will lap this up and agree with him. I certainly wouldn't want a Rangers manager to publicly announce his hate for Celtic, believe it privately and instill it into the players and get them performing like the hate them, not like they are in awe of them - see Stevie Gerrard, Walter Smith Jock Wallace etc as examples.
  7. Why can't I pick faults in Clement even if I want him to stay? Are you calling me a liar?
  8. But some interesting points in the post maybe let down by defence of Dave King. No arguing that Parks and his son are certainly part of the problem we have in the boardroom and have resided over some very questionable decisions.
  9. That's up there with the moral victory after the 3-3 draw at Ibrox. No doubt it'll be lapped up by some in our support.
  10. Dundee United went to Tynecastle today and won - its not the hardest ground to get a win at.
  11. Nice edit but still pathetic - at least your constant
  12. Barron has been a success this season, but his poor pass led to the 2nd goal (hopefully he'll learn from it). Jefte has looked OK since he has came into the team and offers something . The problem is today was the acid test for them and the team and they failed spectacularly
  13. We did create chances but so did Celtic (other than the ones they scored). They were as wasteful in front of goal as we were yet won 3-0 in a canter. As for Shankland, yes, he is as wasteful, no striker isn't "wasteful" I get that we need to try and pick positives from yet another shit-show, but I'm finding it hard to see what has changed - that was as bad as anything Beale or Gio served up at Parkhead.
  14. 4th in the SPL, 5 points adrift, but it's OK as we signed a few young players who might or might not finally win us a league title in 2029. Acceptance of failure and 2nd best, it's now the Rangers way.
  15. Need to find them first.
  16. Its all well.and good taking this season in isolation and even in doing so, the results and performances have mostly been unacceptable. Unless you class meekly exiting the CL qualifiers and being 5 points adrift in the League acceptable and progression. Again, it's all well and good investing in the future, but that doesn't help the here and now. With so many players leaving it was crucial we signed players ready to step into the 1st team and improve the quality. The season appears to be over after 4 games, that is unacceptable, rebuild or not.
  17. Sorry, thought I had to do / say something 🤷‍♂️😀
  18. Whats Graeme Murty up to these days? Asking for a friend.
  19. He did, but what changed, it can't all have been down to the players? Something happened and it happened around that Motherwell defeat. After that we were in free-fall and results and performances were, in the most part, unacceptable. There were strange team selections, questionable subs and conplete loss of form. If you think we've seen improvements this season, fine, but I just don't see it (Ross Country game apart). After circa 1 year in charge and without a OF victory the manager should have had the players ready for today with a plan to stop the inevitable. Instead, we got our arses handed to us big style. 1st of September and we've failed to qualify for the CL (we could be with the money) and are 5 points behind in the league. That's not the kind of "progress" we need.
  20. The sad truth is that we'll continue to regress and they'll continue to get stronger unless we get significant investment and / or hire football minded people to run our club. I've never felt so far removed from the club / team / section of fans since the dark days of David Murray. The acceptance of being 2nd best goes against everything our club stands for but appears to be the standard our board, manager, players and growing number of fans hold us to.
  21. A truck load required
  22. I don't know if this is boring or pathetic, probably both.
  23. So we need to rebuild the rebuild? None of the new players showed any improvement from our last defeat at Celtic Park, in fact we were considerably worse. If the new players have shat it, where do we go now?
  24. Stopped our full backs going forward. He is responsible for the tactics, the players fitness, our application, our standards etc He takes the responsibility.
  25. The manager has to accept responsibility. He changed the way we played around that time and our form went out the window.
