I don't know, King would be easy to deal with, suggest Parks would be also. They could also attempt to takeover Club1872. I would suggest there aren't many people (Rangers fans or otherwise) willing to invest. If Dave King has found someone (or multiple people) who are willing, we should at least see what they have to offer.

No problem - but the board have been promising outside talent for sometime and are yet to deliver. Staggering incompetence starting with the stadium fiasco (will be interesting to hear how much that cost us as a club) and their continued dithering securing / appointing people into vacant key roles.

But that's not change either - King is the only one actively promoting change. He would come in for 2 years, recruit the required people to take club forward (I.e not him or the current board), get some much needed external investment then ride of into the sunset (no doubt with his shares sold). It did start with King but got a lot worse with the current incumbents who are taking us into some choppy waters with no real idea of how to get us out of them. How long have they had to appoint these people? Things must be worse than we think when the St Mirren vice chair (a life long bluenose) decides that St Mirren are a better career proposition than Rangers FC. This board have failed in everything they've done and yet we expect them to make the right decision now?

Are there? They were hardly fighting each other to get control of the club when it was in the toilet the when we needed them to release the grip of the spivs. I don't think King would be hard to deal with if anyone was interested in buying his shares 🤔 It's a glorious thought and the ideal solution, that some mega-rich Rangers person will ride to our rescue but wouldn't bet on it.

At the moment, he is the only option (other than the status quo). The board are making cuts due to THEIR overspending, let's not pretend otherwise. You don't King, that's your opinion / choice but you do want change, so who you backing?

No - not if in that 2 years he puts in place the correct team and structure, then it would be 2 years well spent. King divides opinion but the current board has ran its course. Its squandered untold millions (CL money, EL money, 2 record transfers (Bassey and Patterson) etc) and are having to make cuts everywhere.

But King has said he isn't interested in the long-term, he mentioned 2 years. Off course he wants someone to buy his shares, he's never hid that.

How much income has it generated? And the shop and museum accounts for just over 50% of the space in NEH. The shop and museum would generate income no matter where they were housed (inside Inrox footfall as an example).

NEH will end up an empty shell like the old one did. £12M (at last count) that has no real function other than housing a shop and museum. It was a vanity project for the board that was over budget, underdelivered and overran - it sums up the current board. King said that the days of the board giving the club loans and investments are gone, the well is dry, there is no more money. So, then how do we finance a real football CEO? Or a new Director Of Academy? Or even a new Chairperson? How do we finance the scouting system and purchases of young, exciting talent that we can develop and sell? All takes finance and that finance has to come from somewhere. We have gone past stagnation and are spirling out of control (don't expect many others to see ot that way, but I do) and the current board are squarely to blame for this. They have shown they have no path out of it, so it's time for change or its time to accept that Rangers Football Club will become just another run of the mill Scottish Club. I'll vote for change.

Which is exactly what Dave King has said. The current board have shown they are incapable of spending what little we have wisely ; I'd us NEH as an example - over budget, smaller than designed, project overran and completely under utilised.

I don't think anyone is advocating going back to this. However, to create a viable club, with the correct people in charge, with a working Youth Academy and player trading model, it requires investment.

King is definitely not the person to take us forward long-term but neither are the current incumbents (as they have shown). Any external investment comes with an element of "risk" but there comes a point when we'll need to trust someone, and for me, that time is now. Our club has been stagnant and is now regressing at an alarming rate. We either change or we become just another Hibs, Hearts or Aberdeen etc.

Whilst I take what King says with (more than) a pinch of salt, if he does have credible external investment lined up, I think I could tolerate a couple of years of him back at the helm. As you rightly say, we need change and we need it now whether it's "forced" by King, or the current board start hiring the right people (or a combination of both - well we can dream of a functioning, committed board all pulling in the same direction).

I only saw the highlights but from what little I saw, going by reports I've read and the fact we got a clean sheet, going for Souttar.

Oh, I've been to game or three in my time and once again you're comparing apples with peaches (as you know you are). Completely different from targeting a player whilst he's walking to his car after a game.

Aye, like (some) fans and the club are shining lights at the moment. Bizarre take on current state of our club and the aresholes who think it's OK to verbally attack players when they are leaving what is their workplace. King is hardly the Knight on the white charger we require (long-term) but something needs to happen and needs to happen soon or we'll end up being another Aberdeen, Hearts or Hibs (and that won't be Tavs fault).
