  1. Or the current board take a hands-off approach and hire the correct people to run the club. Either way, we need change and we need it now.
  2. The attendance on Thursday will be interesting. We couldn't sell out against Lyon so I'm expecting less than 35,000 on Thursday. £50 for a single match ticket (£30 for concessions) is hardly making it attractive for fans to turn up in numbers. Issue for fans is most have paid for tickets so not going is only going to "hurt" fans not the club (other than optically).
  3. But this is the rule rather than the exception. 1 title in 13 years shows we are serial runners up, we are miles behind Celtic and regressing at an alarming rate. The board are not fit for purpose and killing the club with their mistakes, indecision etc. The fans are used to losing, to poor performances other than 55 and run to EL Final. Rangers are no longer the club / institution we once were. Previously leaders now drifting closer to Abderdeen, Hibs and Hearts than being Champions. It'll not change as long as the current board are in charge.
  4. Was the type of player you didn't really notice until he wasn't playing (if that makes sense). Must have been a dream to play alongside - did the dirty work then gave the ball to the football players!
  5. Actually, naw.... Decided to stop off in Blackpool.on way home from Manchester airport and currently being acquainting myself with storm Ashley. Thought I'd seen the last of storms after Hurricahone Milton. Maybe it's the wind of doctrine (there's this weeks Sunday School homework).
  6. I always thought that Nigel Spackman didn't receive the credit he deserved.
  7. Says the fan who said he'd think about jacking it if Kent resigned #staunch
  8. We did get an initial "bounce" when Clement took over and were in pole position to win last seasons title. Clement then, for some reason, decided to tweak the way we played, made some very questionable team selections / subs which saw our form fall off the cliff. We ended the season way behind Celtic. This season started the way last finished and almost mirrors Beales time as manager (signs of trouble in pre-season and early league games). We sacked Beale but have, for some reason, backed Clement with a new contract. It took SG 3 seasons to eventually win the league but what we did witness was a genuine progress season on season. It's also worth remembering the mess SG inherited. What he did manage to do was to find a way to beat Celtic on a continual basis to a point when we actually approached the OF games with a sense of knowing we'd win. Now we enter them (and other games) with a sense of trepidation. There are genuine question marks over all off Clements signings. None have illuminated the team. There are also genuine questions around Clements tactics and playing style. There are also questions around his inability to change the injury situation and getting the best out of players. Both were mentioned specifically by Clement when he took over. It's hard to see / point to any reason as to why we should continue to back / trust him as the manager we need to turn us around (other than we can't afford to sack him and his team). We are now the (joint) lowest away scorers in the league, utterly embarrassing.
  9. The majority of the issues we are suffering from stem from the boardroom, but not restricted to Park Snr / Jnr. We've won 1 league title in 13 years and look miles away from adding to that total. What we require in the boardroom and in leading roles within the club is bravery, vision, drive, leadership et al. What we've got is a board you'd vote off if they were in charge of your local bowling club.
  10. And the excuse of them bot being the managers players has gone (exception of Dessers). Same with the weak midfield and defence (which now mostly consist of his signings). Would also say Butland looks very fragile at the moment.
  11. Or get a manager / coach who can actually coach players, work on their fitness, play a style that suits the players strengths etc.
  12. Just back from Florida, and never seen a Rangers top the whole fortnight. Plenty English PL tops but majority were Celtic and Aberdeen.
  13. We had a "bounce game" during the international break and lost 1-0 to Dundee, seems lessons aren't being learned. We've only won 1 away league game this season scoring the grand total of 1 goal. We started the season with 1 striker who was coming back from an injury with no back up. We signed players late in the window and didn't play them. We are weak both on and off the pitch (board, manager and players) and instead of leading us forwards we're being dragged backwards at an alarming rate. The manager has had 1 year in charge yet nothing has changed; we are still crippled but injuries, we have no playing style, we aren't getting the best out of players. The club is a complete shambles, and currently, you wouldn't be confident of us finishing 2nd. Nevermind the board backed the manager with a new contract so looks like we're stuck with them for the foreseeable.
  14. Clement the baldie Beale? Another fraud.
  15. Where is the urgency? Where is the creativity? Where is our style?
  16. This season? You write of the next 3 or 4.
  17. He's not been very convincing anyway.
  18. Neevermind, the bench is full of quality options.
  19. It's worth remembering that Killie are 9th in the league and have a grand total of 7 points this season.
  20. "Project" whilst crying out for starters. Handy.
  21. You're being very kind / lenient to 9 of our 11 players. Utter dross 45mins from all players.
  22. Isn't great to see that after 1 year in charge we have such an eye-pleasing style of free-flowing, fast moving, one touch football sryle and are a joy to watch.
  23. Scintillating stuff thus far. Struggling to keep my eyes open and it's not down to jet lag.
  24. Rangers 2 v 1 Killie Dessers FGS
