  1. Aberdeen are currently everything we are not - a settled team, playing a decent style and unbeaten in the league thus far. They have momentum, are consistent and deserve their position in the league. That can all change but can't say I'm confident at going to Pittodrie and can only see one outcome (hopefully I'm wrong)
  2. He did and looked a lot more comfortable at CB - however, he did play a few loose passes as well. Its never going to happen but we need to look at changing formation, it just doesn't work against SPL teams
  3. Thought Dessers played well when he came on. Great quick thinking for the 2nd goal and not seen it back but thought it was a stonewall penalty. Cerny played well, Bajrami wasted out left, Diomande hot and cold but as you said did well for the opener. Our attack and defence both look disjointed. We looked far more balanced when Tav and Dessers came on but today showed only Souttar is comfortable building / passing out from defence.
  4. So from the euphoria of Thursday to having to look at polishing turds again on Sunday. An oh so familiar pattern.
  5. Off course we are as they are better than those who started in their places
  6. Propper is worse than Ben Davies - how is that even possible?
  7. Glad Tav, Dessers and Lawrence are nowhere near this team today........
  8. Rangers 2 v 0 St Mirren. Cerny FGS
  9. Just read that Thursday game was our 91st European game since Stevie Gerrard took over from Pedro. Decent record since then as well ; W39 D26 L26
  10. Bo'ness United are the top club and play in Lowland League. They moved from juniors to amateurs, won EOS League and were promoted to Lowland League in 2020. Bo'ness Athletic were founded at Linlithgow Thistle but were taken over by Bo'ness United, renamed Bo'ness United Juniors to retain a presence in the juniors. The committees fell out and Athletic cut all ties with United (other than ground sharing as the ground is owned by a separate entity) and were renamed Bo'ness Athletic. They are now in the Lowland League pyramid structure and 2 leagues below United. As a Rangers Supporters Club we once sponsored Bo'ness United (and a player) but after negative comments towards our RSC we cut ties with them and now sponsor Athletic and one of their players. All very complicated.
  11. Before my time but my old man says he was a great player. RiP 🙏
  12. Bo'ness United victorious over Hill Of Beath so 1 Bo'ness team into the next round.
  13. Bo'ness Athletic thrashed 6-0 by Stirling Albion. Bo'ness United into extra time away to Hill Of Beath Hawthorn.
  14. Yellow laces were obligatory, red laces frowned upon 😀 Thankfully it was just a phase, we all do daft things in our youth (like following Rangers!). I've left the "fashion" behind but the music and philosophy remains 🤘😬😀
  15. Thankfully they have all been "misplaced".
  16. Might head to the Stirling Albion v Bo'ness Athletic game tomorrow.
  17. As I said, in my defence it was over 40 years ago and I was mostly drunk. At least I have a defence......😀 What next, shellsuits v boot cut jeans?
  18. Small town uniquism over big city chic any day of the week.
  19. I have an excuse, I was 15 and drunk most of the time and it was 1983....
  20. Hence I said I couldn't criticise. I'm sure we've all worn something we believed to be fashionable but later regretted.
  21. **idiots** and it's called "fashion", not a look I'd go for but as someone who wore tartan bondage trousers, Doc Martins I can't really criticise.
  22. I was hoping that the form of young Jefte had put an end to the Yilmaz fan-boys........😀
