  1. Nope, you've misunderstood again....
  2. He should be, but he won't. With no structure in place to scout / identify his replacement it's pointless sacking him. Also, far too many have bought into this "rebuild" nonsense as an excuse for poor football, poor fitness, being 3rd in a 2 horse race and that it'll take time to challenge domestically. As I said previously, we're getting exactly what we deserve as we are accepting and excusing mediocrity right through the club.
  3. In my opinion, Kelly was signed to replace Butland but for some reason, we didn't receive the bids we thought were incoming. Cortes is still unkown, he's hardly featured due to injury so the jury is still out. Jefte only featured as Ridvan was injured, otherwise Ridvan was our starting left back (in fact the experts in our support had Jefte written off in pre-season). I can't agree with Diomamde, he hasn't cemented a starring place, he's only playing as our number 10 is playing wide left and our other number 10 is injured. As you say, we are only in November but we've not seen Ridvan, Danilo, Cortes or Matondo who would all be starters (Clement started Danilo over Dessers). Kasanwirjo is starting to feature but isn't a regular starter. He looks far more comfortable at CB than he does at RB. I think Clement has signed 11 players, that's an entire team so you can't say there is a "lack of players".
  4. We draw 2-2 with Motherwell yesterday in a bounce game with Curtis and Propper scoring. For those who'll instantly jump in and say this is evidence that Curtis should get an opportunity in the 1st team, it's worth noting that PC has given competitive minutes to 1 player under 20 since he took over. Thats less than any of our previous 3 managers.
  5. Oh you've misunderstood again, I wasn't laughing at Lawrence and Dessers.
  6. Ah, funny. Lol and all that.
  7. We might well be - but the facts are they scored goals in 1-0 wins, so if they hadn't we'd be worse off. Dessers has scored 10 goals in 20 games in a team who don't create chances. He is on course to score 20 goals in back-to-back seasons. So we have our 20 goal a season striker we were all crying out for.
  8. Currently that's correct but we've had Igamane, Ridvan, Propper, Danilo, Sterling Diomande (IIRC) all unavailable this season. It's a continuing trend. There has been a large turnover but we are still relying on "the old guard" far to heavily. That means either Clement doesn't rate his signing, they were the wrong signings, they are injured, they are not ready or a combination of all off the above. However, the discussion on player turnover, starting 11s etc can't mask how poor we are at (attempting) to play football. That's down to coaching.
  9. Our form and deteriorated BEFORE Dundee and Dingwall. It started when Motherwell beat at Ibrox. We weren't close to a treble- how many points behind Celtic were we again? The Scottish Cup Final was a decent 1 off performance and we were unlucky to lose but Aberdeen could same the same regarding our LC victory. In reality we were nowhere near a treble under either Beale nor Clement.
  10. No PPG is fact - however, his PPG since March is horrific. If projected over a season, it'll get us 70-odd points. That's his most recent PPG - that's what we are delivering week on week added to low XG and uninspiring performances it tells its own story. Rebuild or not, we should be playing better, creating more, scoring more, gathering more points and be higher up the table. However, as I said earlier there is little to be gained by sacking him at the moment as we've no one in control to select his replacement. It just shows how poor the club is from top to bottom. It's a slow and cruel demise and it'll continue until the board get their fingers out (and I'm not holding my breath).
  11. Groan...... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ I'll take having 1 more point than the team in 2nd place - no matter XG or goals scored.
  12. I didn't praise them though....
  13. How many players has Clement signed in his two windows? How many of those start on a regular basis? What's the reason for sticking with MBs players wen he's signed so many players? The football this season, domestically, has been horrible. Its the worst / most boring I've witnessed in years. XG or PPG can't hide how bad we've been since March. It's there to see, the stats back it up. Jefte and Barron have looked good this season. Diomande flatters to deceive bur he's being played as a 10. Cerny and Bajrami are good in flashes. Cortes appears to be injury prone and we're obligated to buy him (smart thinking). Propper is rank, worse than Goldson and on par with Ben Davies. We've not seen enough of his other signings to make any judgements. He told us when he signed he'd get to the bottom of the injuries, he'd have us fitter and stronger and playing football and he'd get more out of players. Any evidence of the last paragraph? I'd argue hrs done the complete opposite.
  14. We SHOULD have won the league, but didn't. Our form fell off a cliff after March (rather than December for a change). You're being very generous saying we'd have won the league if that infamous Dundee game wasn't postponed (twice). That doesnโ€™t explain why we finished the season well behind Celtic. Our form (or lack off) does.
  15. All we need is a manager who get get more out of the players. Like the requirements for a decent CEO - they are out there we just need a will to find them.
  16. Not my decision - but I wouldn't trust the current board given their recent record. Just another reason why we need a full-time Chairman and CEO urgently. But it appears the majority of fans are still happy to stumble along with a bowling club committee running the club and a manager who is sitting 3rd in the league. Whilst deflecting the blame onto previous incumbents. Sometimes we get what we deserve.
  17. Right back at you Who scored our goals in 1-0 victories? Dessers and Lawrence so if they hadn't we'd be much worse off.
  18. Beale did deserved to be sacked, no doubting. However, going by that logic, so does Clement. Clement also has a lower goals per game and lower goal aggregate (has a better goals against) It's hard to argue that the football we are witnessing under Clement (after the "bounce") is as bad as, if not worse than anything we witnessed under Beale. Results and league position show this quite clearly. As for Beales "mess", Clement is still relying on players Beale (or his predecessors) signed. In fact we'd be in a far worse league position if you removed the winning goals scored this season by Dessers and Lawrence. Our injuries aren't improving and neither has our fitness which is quite the achievement considering. Financials whilst may be misleading do show Clement has been backed as much as Beale was in the transfer market. The case for sticking with Clement unravels more and more each week.
  19. Did you read the analysis?
  20. Very good oont - I'd add Souness and McCoist to SAF as people we should be approaching to help at the moment.
  21. A brilliant piece of analysis/stats from a poster on FF which shows how far we've regressed under PC (from MB) - link below and we'll worth a read. MB points per game - 2.37 PC points per game - 2.24 However, since the home defeat to Motherwell in March, PC's PPG is 1.76. This would mean a total of just 76 points over a 38 game season. https://www.followfollow.com/forum/threads/clement-vs-beale.285905/
  22. Oh, and I'll give you stubborn ๐Ÿ˜ฃ Away and play with your XG. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  23. Good question for the AGM, the people who can answer that will be present and hoping for questions about pies, MyGers, Castore, Russia / Ukraine conflict. Basically anything other than that question ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  24. Not a clash, simply a discussion between 2 posters with different opinions ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  25. Look at the transfer fees they pay, compared to us. They use their income far better than we do. They are better ran than us, they are better coached than us. Its that simple.
