Right, flags have been completed and according to the printers they look superb (they would say that tho!) and they were being packaged when I spoke to them this morning. They have promised an overnight delivery, so the banners will be delivered tomorrow morning. If they are as good as they promise I suggest that we get some photos of the banners at Ibrox and send them, along with a thank-you note to the printers and advice them that they can use the photos as advertisement and that we will recommend them to other web forums and supporters groups / clubs etc (this might help with discounts etc on future flags!). The printers are affiliated with a banner manufacturer and when I spoke to the banner manufacturer, they indicated that if / when we want a 'complete' banner' (flag plus printing) that they would give is a good deal! Anyway, all going well, I'll have photos of the banners on the site tomorrow evening and will take them along to Ibrox on Saturday. Cammy F

Since AM started to deviate from his successful 4-3-3(ish) formation at the start of his Rangers management career, we have been crying out for a manager with a set formation that has been proven to work and get rewards. We all slated AM for continually changing formation / players / positions etc, and we are now urging PLG to scrap his favoured and successful 4-2-3-1 formation and start playing players where in positions they are not suited to. If we are going to be successful, we must trust PLG and we must ride out this shacky start. IMO, this type of start was predictable as the players and management need time to settle in and get used to the style of play. Sunday was the only game so far where we looked 'average' (at best) - the previous 2 games we were superb. Basically, all I am saying is that it is too early to panic and far far far to early to chop and change formations. Cammy F

Apologies guys and gals, but we were let down by the printers at the last minute - the flags have not been delivered as yet, and my land-line has been down, so I haven't been able to contact them.... I will call them tomorrow and find out what the fook is happening with the banners. Cammy F

Yes he does, he was on SKY before the game saying that Craptic were the Scottish team he looked out for when he was a lad.... In saying that, whether the GFITW© will accept an Engalnd captain who belts out GSTQ when he represents his country is another matter.... Cammy F

Right folks, an update on the banner situation. Del phoned the printing company today and they have confirmed that the banner(s) will be completed and posted today. They are coming up overnight delivery and I will receive them tomorrow. Depending on time / weather / bodies etc, I may get a chance to get some photos of them tomorrow and get them loaded on the site. If not, look out for them at EEP on Sunday and I'll get photos taken and posted early next week. Cammy F PS - Craig, did you manage to get the cheque posted as the bill will arrive with the banners

Brilliant quotes from Britton.... He also wrote another fantatic article about the Walters incidents in another Sunday rag. And to be fair, Cosgrove wrote something similar after Timmy's mock outrage at the 'tattie throwing compitition at The Towers'. Cammy F

Whilst over in Porto for the CL game, we did the stadium tour and hung around their wee cafe / pub thing most of the day following the game. Most Porto fans we spoke to said that the support never really took to him and he had messed with 'their team' and had dropped / sold some of their favourites. We were telling them that he was hugely respected and that we would take him as the Rangers manager and most replies were - you are welcome to him... Very strange indeed, but sometimes, fans just don't take to a player / manager and no amount of success can convince them. Cammy F

Whilst driving down to Eaglesham for an interview last night, saw around 12-15 bus loads of Derry City fans travelling up to Motherwell - must have been a fair crowd of them. Cammy F

From the official site ; RANGERS have today signed highly promising Manchester United youngster Lee Martin on a loan deal Martin, 19, passed a medical and agreed terms and will train with Paul Le Guen's squad for the first time today. The teenager was in Glasgow two weeks ago when Manchester United came north to play Celtic in a friendly at Parkhead. Martin was outstanding in a 3-0 win for the young United side. Martin, who plays on the left side of midfield, spent the second half of last season in Belgium with Royal Antwerp, who have a special relationship with Manchester United. He was signed from Wimbledon in December 2003 for a fee which could hit £1million if he progresses as everyone expects. He is rated highly by Sir Alex Ferguson who insisted that he would only let the player go on loan to a club where he could further his career. Martin - no relation to his namesake who scored the winner in the 1990 FA Cup final - has only played once for the United first team in a competitive game when he featured in the Carling Cup tie with Barnet last October. However, he has had a taste of European football as he sat on the bench as United beat Benfica in the Champions League at Old Trafford. -------------------- Welcome to The Rangers young man Cammy F

The Scottish Sun today are reporting that Craptic fans had to run a gauntlet of hate last night - they then report that the innocent Craptic fans had to pass Chelsea fans singing, wait for it, the sectarian / bigoted chant of God Save The Queen. Again, no mention of their IRA songs, no mention of the 19 fans arrested (which a Strathclyde Officer said 'this is normal for a game of this magnitude')..... Cammy F

Hearts were completely outplayed last night by a very decent AEK side, and everything came thro Emerson in the middle - he was one of the best players on show last night - another one we can file under 'what could have been'. Funnily enough, his best showing for Rangers came in a 4-0 win at Swinecastle, maybe he should ask to play against Hearts every week. Hearts showed their relative inexperience last night and were over ran from the first minute to the last minute and were lucky that the score was only 2-1. I think they said last night that AEK had 20 shots on target in 90 minutes (before they scored and BBC counted 4 on target after the first goal went in). AEK's passing and movement was exceptional and they played the 4-2-3-1 formation and Hearts couldn't get to grips with it and scored completely against the run of the play. I fear them receiving a 4 or 5-0 thrashing in the return leg especially if the Greeks find their shooting boots. Cammy F

http://www.wiganlatics.premiumtv.co....9%2C00.html%3F Andy Webster signs agreement to join Wigan Athletic as long-running transfer negotiations set to be completed. Scotland centre half Andy Webster has signed an agreement to join Wigan Athletic from Heart of Midlothian. The move has been registered with the Football Association but Webster cannot officially be unveiled until a FIFA hearing decides how much compensation the club will have to pay Hearts in what is turning out to be a highly complicated, ground-breaking transfer. Latics hope the decision will be made 'very soon.' Chief Executive Brenda Spencer met with the player and his representative yesterday, and revealed that the club has worked tirelessly over the past month to try and conclude the deal. Cammy F

As predicted, there was serious trouble before and after the game with fights breaking out all along Fulhum Broadway. In fact, Craptic fans had to be 'bussed' to the game! In one report I got, a pub 'full' of Tims, singing their lovely ditties about the AyeRanWay were silenced when a small mob of Chelsea lads (not casuals, just normal lads) broke into a chorus of 'No Surrender'.... This song saw the pub being emptied post haste and Timmy moving on to another establishment.... More seriously, Craptic websites reporting that many a Craptic fan reporting that they received one hell of a doing and a lot of them sporting sore faces this morning. Yip, Craptic, a club universely loved, or is that loathed.... Cammy F

Just heard that it has kicked-off big style already - apparently, some London citizens were unhappy at British people singing Brits Out in Britains Capital City...... Wonder if this will be reported in the mhedia.... hopefully Colshy will have some photos for us later !!!!! Cammy F

Rino, The Star have already ran a report that states hooligans from most London clubs have agreed to put their differences aside and will all attend this game to have a go at Timmy and that Rangers casuals are behind all this. So, if any trouble does happen, thanks to The Star, they have a ready made alibi - it was those Rangers fans again.... As you say, how can any law enforcement officer, nah, normal human being, protect anyone singing the praises of child murdering scumbags - only in this fooked up country - thanks Mr McConnell. It appears that Strathclyde Police, at our expense will act as protection for Craptic fans travelling to London. It has been muted that some of the Chelsea fans aren't happy that a support base who openly sing anti-English/British songs, glorifying terrorists and murderers of British civilians are planning a wee welcoming committee. So, Craptic agree to play in this friendly, get paid a fair amount of dosh for it, yet you and me are expected to foot the bill for Scottish Police Officers to 'protect' their fans for breaking the law... As I keep saying, this is one fooked up country we live in. Cammy F

Exactly, was just about to edit the post and point that out Frankie. Cammy F

Are they? So far this season, Craptic fans have; Assualted the Rangers manager (French Catholic, it would be interesting to find out if the fact that he is the Rangers manager or a Catholic was behind the attack). Once again a Craptic fan has ran onto the pitch putting the safety of players and officials in danger They have sung both sectarian and terrorist songs at both legaue games played so far, hence face a SFA and UEFA investigation Craptic's singing section had split due to members wanting to continue to sing IRA and sectarian songs - both have IRA emblems and names etc - one actually paid a convicted IRA terrorist to paint the Jock Stein banner, with the clubs knowledge and support. Two Craptic players caught singing IRA during a CLUB function in a hotel run by, lets say a man of ill-repute. They have broke into the Rangers trophy room, taken photo's that poked fun at a dead Rangers fan. Craptic and Hearts casuals fought all the way from Tynecastle to Haymarket after the game on Sunday, smashing windows etc. Maybe Colshy has a point.... or has that 'Juan Gy' been really busy? Cammy F
