  1. So for the 2nd season in succession we are struggling to finish 2nd in a two horse race and the mighty Glasgow Rangers, THE Rangers, the greatest club in the world have degenerated into an embarrassment and we continue to fall behind our rivals both on and off the field and our traditions, culture and good name are dragged through the dirt as we become nothing more than a laughing stock. We can blame the players, we can blame managers (past and present) and we can blame the board and the owner, but in reality, we are as much to blame (if not more) than all of the above. Yes Bears and Bearettes, it is us who have bought The Mints lies, it is us who have sat back and watched him rape and plunder the club, it is us who have watched truly class players being replaced by players who are no better than 1rst division players, it is us who have embraced The Mints downsizing of ambitions and it is us who continue to sit on our arses and lap up the shit served to us on/off the pitch. Ladies and gentleman, the point of no return is upon us – we must force Murray’s hand and we musts force it now. If we don’t, this is the beginning of the end of Rangers Football Club that we know and love. Wake up and smell the coffee – Murray is killing the club and we are allowing him free reign. This is our fault and we are the only ones who can rectify this mess. Cammy F
  2. As it stands Benfica top the group and the Tims qualify with a 'negative goal difference'.... Scrap that ^^^^^^ Cammy F
  3. Currently 1-0 to Benfica and 2-0 FCK... Cammy F
  4. It isa all relative - we finished 2nd in our CL group (2 groups of 8) with the winners contesting the final - not taking anything away from that great team, but this was when it was the CHAMPIONS league and not the invitation league it is at the moment. As for the initial post regarding signing players like Anderson and Healy, if nothing else, it drives home the 'downsizing' of our ambitions under David Murray. FFS Healy is hardly prolific and is struggling with Leeds at the wrong end of the Championship - Anderson is no better than an average SPL player. The game has moved on from that 9-in-a-row era where we had the best Scottish players complemented with some fantastic imports from Europe and England. Also, its worth noting that for the majority of our 9-in-a-row, Craptic were in a worse state than we are in at the moment. Cammy F

    A Wee Rant

Enough To Drive You To Drink Well, the rejuvenated Rangers didnââ?¬â?¢t last long as we were back to our bad old ways at Falkirk on Sunday. Serious questions need to be asked as to what direction the club is going in, and whilst the manager and players have a responsibility in this, the buck stops with Mr Murray and surely even his staunchest supports must start to question his desire to take Rangers back to the summit of domestic football and a force to be reckoned with in Europe. What actually scares me the most is that some Rangers fans donââ?¬â?¢t realise, or wonââ?¬â?¢t admit just how far behind our bitter rivals (on and off the pitch) we actually are. At a time where they have qualified (with a game to spare) for the knock out stages of the CL, are running away with the domestic title and signing players (Graveson and Vinegar of Castlemilk) we can only dream about, we are watching what could be the worst Rangers team in over a quarter of a century, with little or no sign of improvement. If we are honest, we have been in decline for around 5-6 years, only 2 last day victories (oh how we enjoyed them right enough) saved us from facing a Craptic team going for 6-7 in a row. They have a Chairman who is actively promoting their brand image and actively pursuing new financial avenues and new prospective leagues to be involved in (this may all be pie in the sky, but the c*nt is never out of the papers blowing their trumpet). Meanwhile, we have a ââ?¬Ë?custodianââ?¬â?¢ who wonââ?¬â?¢t even defend our traditions or our fans, never mind promote the Rangers brand. I donââ?¬â?¢t think that we have ever been so negatively portrayed in the media as we are at the moment, and that is all down to David Murrayââ?¬â?¢s refusal to stand up to our enemies. Our public image is at an all time low, we are never ââ?¬Ë?talked upââ?¬â?¢ on national TV unlike the sons of Satan who have all on sundry talking them up and the likes of Rod Stewart to The Fruitellies declaring their love for ââ?¬Ë?ra hoopsââ?¬â?¢ at every opportunity. That has given them a march on the ââ?¬Ë?English marketââ?¬â?¢ and we are falling way behind them in that respect. We can not survive on ââ?¬Ë?Scottish supportââ?¬â?¢ alone and this needs to be readdressed as soon as possible. In all honesty, do you think we are an attractive proposition for people to support at the moment? IMO, the only fans we are likely to attract are those who come from a ââ?¬Ë?Rangers familyââ?¬â?¢ ââ?¬â?? yes, we need these fans, but we also need to be attractive to the ââ?¬Ë?neutralââ?¬â?¢ and we arenââ?¬â?¢t at the moment. Critical Christmas We are now approaching a critical time of the season where we will face teams that are close to us and if we are to take any positives from this season, we must come through this period (from today until New Years Day) winning ALL the games we play. We start with the visit of Hibs who are playing brilliantly at the moment and are breathing down our necks. Next up, we face Craptic at Ibrox in a game we MUST win. Then, we have trips to Abergreen and Inverness followed by a busy New Year period. If we can come out of this with 6 victories, we will have at least, cemented 2nd place in the league. However, if we drop any more points during this period, it is debateable if we will have European football to look forward to next season. Bleak Future All in all, it all adds up to a very bleak future for Rangers and us the supporters and I canââ?¬â?¢t see anything changing for the positive until David Murray sells up and ships out. He has shown that whilst we are ââ?¬Ë?up for saleââ?¬â?¢ there will be little or no investment in the squad and youth development and no effort put in to promoting Rangers FC and defending us the fans from the continual onslaught from the press, politicians and UEFA (who all clearly have an agenda). So what can we do? Very little unless we galvanise and make a concerted effort in getting Murray to act sooner rather than later. However, the demonstrations and the reactions to them from the majority of the Rangers fans shows that for some reason, David Murray has the support of the majority of the Rangers support. If this doesnââ?¬â?¢t change and change soon, we are in for a bleak(er) future which will see is fall into the shadow of our bitterest rivals. Cammy F ââ?¬â?? We Are The Peopleââ?¬Â¦.
  6. If any of you are old enough to remember this song, post the next line.... lets see if we can have all the lyrics posted by tomorrow 'If I had the wings of an eagle' Cammy F
  7. Leggo is spot on once again and raises many valid points and questions. I just wonder if Joke McConnell and Nil By Cake-hole will have the decency to respond to his legitimate topics of concern? Cammy F
  8. 4. On a Rangers video - 'We will replace Gio, Tugay and Albertz with better players'.... Cammy F
  9. I have never heard any effteepee add-ons to Derrys Walls in my 25 years of following Rangers and certainly never heard them yesterday. Now, that is not to say that some fans didn't sing effteepee at the end / during of OTHER songs tho Cammy F
  10. This weeks events have further convinced me that even after the bulldozers have rumbled down Edminston Drive, flattened Ibrox, built luxury flats and DM swans off into the sunset even richer than he is now, some Rangers fans will not blame Murray, but direct their ire at the RST, TBO and the 'anti-Murray Rangers fans'.... As I said last week, it took the Tims around 10 years to finally come to realise that it was all the boards fault - they finally realised about 2 minutes before the bank closed the doors. I thought we were more intelligent than them, it appears not. Cammy F
  11. What, all 11 of them - I bloody hope so... Cammy F
  12. Didn't Murray say that money went to servicing the debt? If thats true, does that mean he has taken back the majority of the £50M 'gift' he gave us? Another web woven by Mr Murray me thinks... Cammy F
  13. David Murray 'outsourced' the catering at Ibrox to a company he has links with - that company made ~£14M in a few years and admitted their success was down to its ties with Rangers. That's £14M that could have been OUR money in the hip pockets of a Murray linked company... The Ticket Office was outsourced to another Murray linked company and is housed (maybe free of charge) within Ibrox and now charges £1 for EVERY transaction - maybe doesn't sound much, but it adds up. Added to that, the same company are now the countries largest Call Centre Company - more coffers for the over-flowing Murray tills. The Travel Club is a joke - £11 pounds to join and no chance of a ticket - those who are lucky enough to get a ticket pay well over the odds. A wee comparison - Barcalona v Chelsea CL game - fly in and straight out, tansfers to and from ground and match ticket £199. Compare that to any Rangers away game and spot the difference - its with the same company BTW. Oh, and our trip to Molde was on average £50 dearer than Craptics trip to Copenhagan - again with the same company... As for the Albion - it is a joke and guess who is laughing all the way to the bank? Yip, the Murray family again - father sold it to his son for £1 and he now charges £7 to park in there - char-ching..... Cammy F
  14. Youth Development may be very good (that is argueable) but it doesn't belong to Rangers - we have to PAY for any players we want from RYD after a set amount of first team games (£100,000 I believe). As for the merchandising, only time will tell - David Murray as he is apt to do went for the short term glory rather than the long-term plan. So well just ignore the other points then...????....????....??? Cammy F
  15. Fraser, David Murray HAD to pay of the debt - he created it, the banks were copming after HIM. FFS.... He didn't supply the managers with money, WE DID. In the last two decades, we have been the biggest single financial contributor to Rangers Football Club - if only David Murray had matched our contribution £ for £..... There is still some dubiety surrounding the £50M debt as to whether it is a loan from MIH or if it was 'truly written off' - we'll not find out until Murray sells. So he has paid back some of the debt he created - what about everything he has taken OUT of Rangers? Youth Development, Merchindising, Catering, Ticket Office, Travel Club, The Albion Carpark - care to guess who benefitted from the sale / outsourcing of all of the above - not to mention the amount of down-right lies he has fe us over the years - I'll give you a clue, his initials are David Fucking Murray. 16. Dear, oh dear oh dear Mr Murray, the old 'divide and conquer ploy.... Whoop-de-do Mr Murray, you get a nice comfy seat free of charge... how many away games have you gone to? Have you witnessed the over-zealous policing at Parkhead, Easter Road et al? Have you witnessed Rangers fans being 90 times more likely to be arrested at Parkhead the the home bigots? Have you travelled with YOUR company to watch Rangers in Europe? Have you witnessed the life-threatening crushes at various venues? Have you been there when the mounted Spanish Police charged into a group of innocent Rangers fans who's only crime was trying to gain access to a section of the stadium they had tickerts for? Aye, Murray, you've got it hard you patronising wanker. Cammy F - To Angry To Respond To His Other Quotes Loyal RSC
  17. Fraser, seriously, what exactly has David Murray given Rangers? Cammy F
  18. nokiss - I did state that I was playing devils advocate and that I wasn't calling for him to be sacked just now - all I said was that we are worse than we were last season, there is no sign of improvement and that he can hardly speak a word of English... But one thing that PLG and Rangers haven't got is time - let me reiterate - we are only 3 points ahead of 9th place in the SPL, we were humbled by St Johnstone on Wednesday, the worst result in our history since Berwick. Who much longer do we give him? I'll rephrase that, how much longer can we afford to give him if nothing improves? Do we shrug off being 9th in the SPL? Do we shrug off being in the bottom six after the split (as on current form thats where we are heading)? Do we shurg off no European football next season just so PLG gets 'time'? IMO, the clock is ticking and its ticking fast. Cammy F Cammy F

Can he play centre-half or left / right back... Cammy F
  20. Awe FFS - I give up.... How the fuck can we win when fans eat up his shit time after time... Murray is a fuckin liar who is killing OUR club .... Cammy F
  21. I was at a few protests last season (along with Steve and Del!) and was there to protest against Murray - if I go along tomorrow, I will once again go to protest against Murray. I said last year that getting rid of AM was David Murrays way of placating the majority of us, and it was. Murray is like that, he'll blame everyone from us to PLG before he points the finger at himself. However, I have a feeling I'll be posting the same text next year when things haven't improved and PLG is getting shown the exit. It took the Tims a decade to realise that it was the board that was killing them and they finally ousted the board minutes before being closed down. This was after them boycotting games, getting manager after manager sacked etc. I always thought that we were more intelligent than them, it appears not. Cammy F
  22. So a question to those who will continue to go to Ibrox no matter what - how exactly are you going to communicate to Mr Murray that you are unhappy with the current situiation (and lets be honest, things have been terrible on and off the pitch for over 5 years) and that you want a change? Or, do you not agree that things, both on and off the field need to change? Or that David Murray will come riding over the hill on his white charger? The only 2 things that sting the assasin into action are 1/ losing money and 2/ a slight of his ego. A Mass boycott of 2-3 games will do both and jolt him into action. Failure to do anything and he'll continue to lie to us, and continue to kill the club. IMO missing 3-4 games, or even a season to ensure that Rangers FC are ready for the present and the future is well worth the sacrafice IMO. Anyway, its better than going along and letting Murray assume that we are all happy little customers, sorry fans. We are the only ones that can force change - are you up for it? Cammy F
  23. Playing Devils abvocate here, but what has PLG done to inspire / derserve our continued support? We have more problems than we had last season and lets not forget that PLG got DVD's of all our games, so he knew where our problems lay. He can not communicate in English, that is despite knowing the he was coming to Scotland 6 months prior to his appointment (that is about 1 year ago). His formations, subsitutes, signings all leave a lot to be desired (and that is putting it kindly). There is ZERO sign of improvement, those who say there is are deluding themselves. We are THREE points off being 9th in the SPL and lost at home to St Johnstone on Wednesday - the only shock about that result was that it wasn't a surprise to many Rangers fans, myself included. Support comes at a price, it isn't something that we should give blindly - that is exactly what David Murray is counting on. Now, I am not saying that PLG should be sacked, but I do think that his situation should be reviewed at Xmas - what happens (God forbid) this form continues and we are in the bottom 6 - how much longer do we give him???? As for giving him money, I wouldn't - his signings so far have been rank rotten. Cammy F
  24. Yip, I can just picture the scene, David Murray sitting on his comfy arm-chair, a glass of Chardonnay in his hand and Chick Dung getting yet another exclusive from the new Chez Murray (freshly purchased for a cool Ã?£4.5 million). Chick asks Murray some hard-hitting questions about those nasty, bigoted Rangers fans who dare question his stewardship, those pesky trouble-makers from the RST, those hooligans who follow Rangers away from home who have the audacity to question Mr Murray. Mr Murray will take a sip of Chardonnay (freshly procured from his expanse vineyards in France) and hit back with the usual ââ?¬Ë?Well Chick, they never complained when I delivered 9-in-a-rowââ?¬â?¢. ââ?¬Ë?Well Chick, we know that those who question me are the ones that we are trying to rid Rangers Football Club off ââ?¬â?? you know, those who follow the team everywhere, take all the shit that we can thro at them and still come back for moreââ?¬â?¢. ââ?¬Ë?Anyway Chick, we all know that the Tims are more loyal than my customersââ?¬â?¢Ã¢â?¬Â¦. In all seriousness, do you think he has the brass-neck to rehash the ââ?¬Ë?investment to shock football to its foundationsââ?¬â?¢ line again? I think he has as some of our fans will buy it again and come in their pants as they tell their pals down the pub that this time next year weââ?¬â?¢ll have Beckham, Rooney, Lampard et al gracing Ibrox - only to be let down again by The Mint. Never mind, they'll continue to believe in his fairy-tales and continue to shout down those who have seen thro the asassin - Murray do us all a favour and fuck right off Cammy F
