Neither has The Herald for poking fun at the Ibrox disaster and one of its reporters wishing for a Munich to happen when RFC were returning from France 1992/3 Cammy F

Trust Expresses Outrage at Record and Mirror 'Smear'
CammyF replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Excellent Frankie - but once again The RST forced into doing Rangers' job for them. I wait for the day where something as factual and articulate would be a JOINT statement from the RST and Rangers Football Club.... One can dream! Cammy F -
A few weeks ago, there was a thread about Still Game and I mentioned an article written by Still Game 'star' Sanjeev Kohli which stated that Rangers fans thro bananas at Mark Walters. Well, I've managed to find the article as a link was posted on FF. Here it is for your information ; http://www.sundayherald.com/print23584 Oh, and this article went unchallenged by Rangers Football Club Cammy F

How can you blame AM for Martin bain's work? Martin Bain has sole control over contracts, pay, transfer etc,....... I wish some fans would take time to learn exactly how our club works. Fan Fan admitted last week that it was Martin Bain who signed him not Alex McLeish  Any manager be it AM or PLG gives Martin Bain and David Murray a list of players that they want. They do not give them a transfer budget, they do not give them wage demands, they do not give them contracts. They ONLY supply names - it is Martin Bains job to get them signed, agree wages and length of contract etc. If we have dead-wood, over paid players on long contracts, it is ultimately down to Martin Bain and David Murray. All fine and good, but Burke is injured as is Fergie. Boyd is suspended for the start of the season, so there is 3 players who WILL NOT feature against Motherwell. So, it appears that the younger lads are going to have to step up to the plate sooner than most of us imagined. As for the players who performed well in Europe last year, most have been let go. Soti, Ronny and Lovnekrands were the stand-outs with Namouchi also playing well in most of the European ties. Cammy F

Jeremie Brechet would be a fantastic loan signing - the guy can play all accross the back line and is still rated in the £3M-£5M pound bracket. Cammy F
-
Because David Murray LETS THEM  He also allows them free pre-match, half-time and post-match hospitality and access to players and management.......... Thats were I am going wrong - instead of directing my disgust at Murray, I should direct it at the Loyal Rangers fans and maybe I'll be allowed free access to ibrox, Murray Park, European trips etc, etc and enjoy a free wee feast and drink on match days whilst being able to talk to players and managers etc Cammy F

Murray makes clearest hint yet that club is for sale...
CammyF replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
It is also interesting to read that in the year that we completed 9-in-a-row, Rangers were £20M in the BLACK. The addition of the Club Deck was done at a horrendous cost (and guess who benifited from those costs). He sold The Albion to his son for £1 to be used as a car-park which charges people £7 per car to park on matchdays (not a bad return). Azure catering was sold and it is predicted to make £14M profit this year and freely acknowledge that most business it receives is form Rangers connections. Thats £14M pounds that WE AREN'T GETTING. David Murray has gotten more out of Rangers than Rangers has ever gotten out of him. Cammy F -
Just weeks after David Murray promised us (yeah, like we'd believe him) statements that would defend our club and promote our heritage and tradition, we have yet another TWAT in the media attacking our reputation. Recently, Martin Bain was accused of dodgy dealings in a newspaper and David Murray via Rangers, issued a writ 2 hours after the story was run - killing the story stone-dead. How long do we, the fans have to wait for Murray to act? Well, for a man that won't defend DEAD Rangers fans, there isn't much hope of him defending the living is there. Defend US NOW or GET TO FUCK Mr Murray Cammy F

I think Craptic are at home to Everton that night and Glasgow Police won't allow both teams to be at home on the same evening. Cammy F

... before the impartial and unbiased Scottish media TWATS insinuate that the Bolton game was cancelled due to us big, bad, bigoted Rangers fans 'reputation'? And when this does happen, what will be the response from Rangers Football Club? Cammy F

What do I want? I want a PR Department that challanges the lies, inuendos and helf-truths spouted by the media. A PR Department that actively challange cretins like Speirs, Leckie and McNee. A PR Department that ensure we get 'fare-press'. I want a BOARD that doesn't sell of assets that are making money for the club. That doesn't sell the albion to his son for £1 for use as a car-park. A Board that will ensure that our youth development is 'ring-fenced', financed and managed correctly. Oh, and isn't sold off - do you see a trend here? I want a BOARD that have short, medium and long-term goals and stratigies set in stone and discussed and agreed with supporters associations. A BOARD that ensures that we have long-term financial stability and income sourced and secured. I want a ticket office that can issue tickets without fucking up every other week (oh, and guess who owns or out-sourced ticketing agancy?) and is helpful and curtious when you are dealing with them. I want A BOARD that nurtures relationships with TBO, RST, Supporters Clubs - who support these groups and ensures that everything is done to help them and enusre their safety is guarenteed at Ibrox and on our travels. I want the Rangers Publications to include Rangers minded people and fans - who know the history of the club and can ensure that an article about Rangers will not have any mistakes and is true and factual. Not asking for much, just for the club to be run properly. Cammy F

Its called negotiating - I have heard that if we offer £1.75M we would have had permission to speak to the player. Well, I disagree - IMO he was signed as a raw, young and relatively inexperienced centre-half - not the ideal CV for a 'leader' and defender who has to take us to SPL title and European progress. Really, I think he has a better chance than the two lads from Rennes who have yet to play a competitive game for Rennes or Rangers. N'Daiye has featured heavily in pre-season and IMO that's an indication that he will be 'first team material'. Ditto the two French lads - if we don't sign any other 'experienced' players, they will become first squad regulars. Don't think many players will be offered increase in salary - we are trying to drive salaries down. Well, we must have differing views on what type of person should be running Rangers and or working for them in general - and what having the best interests of Rangers at heart means Cammy F
-
We'll just need to agree to disagree on this Craig - I just expect more from Rangers, after all, David Murray tells us we're a family - if so, I'd expect more from my family. Cammy F
-
As were all other players we've signed, apart from Clement, Sionko and possibly the keeper. Svensson is another that IMO, will be forced into first team action when he was first seen as 'cover'. The 2 lads from Rennes HAVEN'T started a first class game yet, so I don't think they were signed as 'starters' - same with the lad Furmanfrom Chelsea and N'Diaye. But due to lack of signings, the majority of them will be forced to start sooner than expected. Must have read differenet interviews from you - PLG wanted Lovenkrands to stay and wanted him in the team. If you have watched PLG teams of old, Lovenkrands would have fitted in brilliantly to his style and IMO would have been a wonderful player under PLG - his loss, not ours tho. Giving staff time off to watch Craptic in Saville, stating that he wouldn't employ a Rangers fan for certain positions and not knowing who Bill Struth was (along with McClelland) shows he doesn't have the best interests of Rangers at heart. But, there has to be a ballancing act - if the manager wants a player, then surely £200,000 (I am lead to believe that this is how far apart we are) isn't going to bankrupt us - is it? Cammy F
-
Because they are representing US THE FANS - if you are happy with their actions then fine, but I ain't - and IMO have every right to expect MY CLUB to do everything in its power to help us the fans. Who pays for hotels, buses, trains, flights etc that are already booked? Who pays for those fans who've booked time off work? Who should help us get this back and get an explanation from the Police? If it isn't Rangers, who is it? Cammy F
-
But given that Rangers are the ones who had the contract, they should be asking that question and try to get the fans their money back. However, they will sit back and accept this and we'll be out of pocket AGAIN. As for exhausting all avenues, they should be telling us - THE FANS exactly what they have done - oh what I'd give for us having a PR Department. Now, imagine if this were Craptic - Lawell and their PR would be all over this like a rash - but Rangers? No, we'll accept it and to hell with the fans. Cammy F
-
Does he, I'm sure PLG has given David Murray names of players he wants, and he hasn't gotten them - YET (Clement aside) No, first choice was Lovenkrands - Elmander, then Sebo - so if we sign the Arsenal reserve, that'll be 4th choice - if not, it'll be 5th, or 6th, or 7th choice. I know how much power he has - and its a disgrace - a man that doesn't have any respect for you or me and doesn't have Rangers FC or our best interests at heart. Well, if and I quote - infinitely trusts and puts faith in PLG - it might not be. PLG wants the player and the two clubs aren't far apart. Plus, we could sign him for nothing in January... Cammy F
-
Where have I 'slandered' Rangers? All I said was that this is what happens when our club and more importantly, the board, sit back and let everyone take pot-shots at us. Our club is rotten at the top - it is being run by men who don't have the best interests of Rangers Football Club at heart. If that is slander, I hope they sue me... Cammy F
-
Eh, he is the Chairman - so he holds the pursestrings.... I am more concerned that we are now onto PLG's 4th choice for a vital position in our team. How far down the list do we go? Have Rangers fallen that far that we accept PLG's 5th choice striker rather than add an extra £200,000 onto a bid to land this player? Martin Bain is actually in charge off all contract and purchasing of players - he reports directly to --------- David Murray.. But as I said above, this deal isn't dead in the water - YET Cammy F
-
Like everything he does, Murray will want a profit - I would also like clarification on the £50M pounds he 'under-wrote' (sp) in the last share issue. What Mr Murray has shown us is that it is unhealthy for one person to have 'total' control of everything connected with Rangers FC. He is untouchable and can basically do what he wants and to hell with us, the fans. I am really concerned about the future of this club - recent events have shown that Murray can not be trusted and IMO we face a few more years of our culture etc being chipped away at by those who hate us - with David E Murray sitting back and allowing this to happen. He has also shown that we have very little money to spend on transfers, so we have more years of bosmans, trialists and the odd £1M pound player. Hardly makes us certs for SPL domination never mind European success. Back to the topic tho - and this may sound strange, but I don't think this deal is dead - YET Cammy F
-
If Rangers do have a contract with the GMP then surely they can take this further? Or at least make GMP explain what has happened in the last 2 weeks to alter their ability to Police this event. I have looked at the web and NO OTHER club in this area are playing that night and there are no concerts, marches, etc on in this area - so why have they changed their minds? Cammy F
-
Beatie, can it get any worse that Murray tho? He has SOLD OFF all our assets, taken us £70M debt, sold our YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, ripped us off right left and centre and REFUSED to stand up for us against the press etc. IMO, we can hardley get any worse off than we already are... Cammy F
-
Once again, us the LOYAL Rangers fans have been fucked over and Rangers sit back and do NOTHING (that wishy-washy statement aside). Greater Manchester Police had no problem with 20,000 IRA loving scumbags invading a city that was blown up by the scum, yet cancel OUR game after many fans have paid (non-refundable deposits) for flights, trains, buses, hotels etc... See what happens when your club continually refuses to stand up for you? You get fucked over by EVERYONE. Cammy F - Really, Really Pissed Loyal RSC
-
Make no sceret of loathing the man that is killing the club we love.... And it isn't just his management of funds that I am talking about, its his mismanagement of Rangers FC from top to bottom - the ticket office is a shambles, he has sold off every asset of ours that made money, he has sold off our youth development and if the RST hadn't gotten wind of it, he would have sold off Ibrox as well. The man is killing the club and refuses to stand up for us, his customers :admin: knowing that our loyality will bring us back year after year. Cammy F
