Really, what makes you think that? Sorry, but I don't believe that - however, we'll have to agree to disagree Cammy F

When DM appointed PLG, along with all the fan-fair and 'look at me' and 'look what I've done', that surrounds The Mint's every appearence on TV, he promised us that this new era would herald 'Moonbeam's of Success' (or something similar) for Rangers. He promised that the arrival of PLG would be accompanied by vast investment that would 'shake Scottish football to it's foundations' that would ensure that Rangers FC would never again be in debt and that the new manager would see a 'substantial' amount as a transfer kitty. When PL was haggling over a new contract, David Murray informed us that if PL didn't sign his contract that we had two players lined up as replacements. He hinted that these players would be of similar, or better quality. When he told us that PLG was taking over for the much maligined (sp) Eck that this was a new era, the start of something special. The reality is that it is the worst and barkest time I can remember being a Rangers fan. We are a circus on and off the pitch, our enemies are still allowed free reign and our custodian sits in his new house not bothering his hint end. The Rangers we knew and love have died, and David Murray is the person who has killed them. I warned a few years back that this would get worse instead of better and I get no pleasure in saying 'I told you so'. Here is another bleak warning and take heed if you care - this will continue to get worse and IMO, we are close to the complete death of Rangers Football Club - David Murray could have gone down in our history as one of the best chairman we had, but at this rate, he'll be remembered as the man that Killed The Rangers. I know, but what I am saying is put yourself in BF's shoes - you are a RANGER, your fellow players aren't doing their job - what would you do? Shrug your shoulders and let them continue to play SHIT or try to influence the game anyway you can? I know what I would do, and its the same as BF. Whether that is 'right' or 'wrong' is a matter of opinion. Cammy F

If David Murray has 'shit-loads of money', like he has, why hasn't he invested any into Rangers? Why did he 'spirit away' the CL and JJB money? Why are we still in debt? Why can't we afford to buy decent players to support a supposed world class manager? All is not what it seems with DM, investment, money and his desire for Rangers Football Club. Cammy F
-
OK, you've obviously bought DM's line - I certainly don't think that it is coincidence that Fergies sale came at the same time as a final demand from the bank. Hey, maybe it was, but why did BF 'know' that he'd return to Rangers the week after he 'fucked off to Blackburn'? Cammy F
-
Can't believe that the Captain of Rangers is being criticised for 'doing to much'. Like us, if we were playing in this SHIT Rangers team, we to would be trying to do everyone elses job. Cammy F
-
I know that ewveryone is entitled to their opinion and mines is that anyone who says we are better off without BF in our team is talking out their arse. BF is the ONLY player we have, he is the ONLY player we have that knows what it takes to play for Rangers and is the only player that looks remotely interested at the moment. In fact, I wish we had 11 Barry Fergusons at the moment. As was said earlier, it was only a few short weeks ago that BF pissed all over Brown and Thomson who are pale imintations of Barry Ferguson and selling BF to replace them with either (or both) would be yet another step backwards for Rangers Football Club Cammy F Cammy F

Exactly - me being me, I fear that this is Bain's latest attempt to rid our club of anyone who actually gives a flying fuck about our sad state of affairs. Arise Sir David and sort this fuckin mess out - or do us all a favour and fuck off. Cammy F
-
And some have short memories when it comes to Barry F putting his career and helath at rick to play for Rangers and drive us on to the title. People have short memories of the possibility that Barry Ferguson was sold to keep the bank away from our doors when DM was FORCED to pay them over £5M - was it a conincidence that this happened the same time as Fergie 'fucked off to Blackburn'? PLG has made a massive gamble here - he has stripped OUR ONLY player of the captancy and could be on his way to showing the ONLY player we have that LOVES Rangers as much as we do the door. RANGERS FC are just a fucking circus at the moment. Cammy F

But the alternative is to sit back and watch the club we love fall into oblivion..... Cammy F

Nail on head - it is Murray and the board that have stated that 'demonstrators' are some kind of evil anti-Rangers bigots. He is on the denfensive and is dividing the support. Its time to get him to act or get him to fook Cammy F

No it isn't, we were (slighty) worse off when Holmes took the helm and got Souness into to rejuvinate Rangers and Scottish football. We were in a worse state when Craptic were winning 9 in a row and getting to, and winning European Cup finals (we had a decent team then tho that also done well in Europe). Yes it will - how the fuck do you think The Tims managed to oust their money-hourding board and replace them with a man then a board who have left us in their shadow - lets remember just how far ahead we were back then. Who has let us slip so far behind them - yip, David The Liar Murray - Tosh, there is PLENTY we can do - we can force Murray to act - we can stop going to games, we can show our displeasure - lets face it, we are CUSTOMERS (sic) after all. - no it doesn't, sitting 3rd in the league, defeated by a lowe league team at Ibrox in a cup compitition for the first tim in our history, unable to defeat ICT, DAFC, DUFC et al makes us look like cunts - sitting back watching OUR club slide from crisis to crisis makes us look like custs - listening to every support in the country ripping the pish out us makes us look like cunts. Alternatively, we can sit on our arses and look like stupid cunts.... Yeah, lets leave that to them - after all we are soooooooooo far in front of them that we need't change antthing at Ibrox... I FUCKIN' dispair.. Cammy F

We are a mess, from top to bottom and that includes the players and management structure. We have a Chairman that has informed us that he is no longer interested in the club, he is preparing to sell in a buyers market and nobody will touch us as we owe far to much money to Murray at the moment. So with no buyer on the horizon, Murray continues to cost cut, take money from the club, allow our enemies to attack us at every opportunity and the VAST majority of us sit back and fucking applaud/defend him... UNFECKINREAL... MURRAY, MURRAY GET TO FUCK, MURRAY GET TO FUCK The longer he stays people, the worse we are going to get. Cammy F

So for the 2nd season in succession we are struggling to finish 2nd in a two horse race and the mighty Glasgow Rangers, THE Rangers, the greatest club in the world have degenerated into an embarrassment and we continue to fall behind our rivals both on and off the field and our traditions, culture and good name are dragged through the dirt as we become nothing more than a laughing stock. We can blame the players, we can blame managers (past and present) and we can blame the board and the owner, but in reality, we are as much to blame (if not more) than all of the above. Yes Bears and Bearettes, it is us who have bought The Mints lies, it is us who have sat back and watched him rape and plunder the club, it is us who have watched truly class players being replaced by players who are no better than 1rst division players, it is us who have embraced The Mints downsizing of ambitions and it is us who continue to sit on our arses and lap up the shit served to us on/off the pitch. Ladies and gentleman, the point of no return is upon us – we must force Murray’s hand and we musts force it now. If we don’t, this is the beginning of the end of Rangers Football Club that we know and love. Wake up and smell the coffee – Murray is killing the club and we are allowing him free reign. This is our fault and we are the only ones who can rectify this mess. Cammy F

As it stands Benfica top the group and the Tims qualify with a 'negative goal difference'.... Scrap that ^^^^^^ Cammy F

Currently 1-0 to Benfica and 2-0 FCK... Cammy F

It isa all relative - we finished 2nd in our CL group (2 groups of 8) with the winners contesting the final - not taking anything away from that great team, but this was when it was the CHAMPIONS league and not the invitation league it is at the moment. As for the initial post regarding signing players like Anderson and Healy, if nothing else, it drives home the 'downsizing' of our ambitions under David Murray. FFS Healy is hardly prolific and is struggling with Leeds at the wrong end of the Championship - Anderson is no better than an average SPL player. The game has moved on from that 9-in-a-row era where we had the best Scottish players complemented with some fantastic imports from Europe and England. Also, its worth noting that for the majority of our 9-in-a-row, Craptic were in a worse state than we are in at the moment. Cammy F

Enough To Drive You To Drink Well, the rejuvenated Rangers didnââ?¬â?¢t last long as we were back to our bad old ways at Falkirk on Sunday. Serious questions need to be asked as to what direction the club is going in, and whilst the manager and players have a responsibility in this, the buck stops with Mr Murray and surely even his staunchest supports must start to question his desire to take Rangers back to the summit of domestic football and a force to be reckoned with in Europe. What actually scares me the most is that some Rangers fans donââ?¬â?¢t realise, or wonââ?¬â?¢t admit just how far behind our bitter rivals (on and off the pitch) we actually are. At a time where they have qualified (with a game to spare) for the knock out stages of the CL, are running away with the domestic title and signing players (Graveson and Vinegar of Castlemilk) we can only dream about, we are watching what could be the worst Rangers team in over a quarter of a century, with little or no sign of improvement. If we are honest, we have been in decline for around 5-6 years, only 2 last day victories (oh how we enjoyed them right enough) saved us from facing a Craptic team going for 6-7 in a row. They have a Chairman who is actively promoting their brand image and actively pursuing new financial avenues and new prospective leagues to be involved in (this may all be pie in the sky, but the c*nt is never out of the papers blowing their trumpet). Meanwhile, we have a ââ?¬Ë?custodianââ?¬â?¢ who wonââ?¬â?¢t even defend our traditions or our fans, never mind promote the Rangers brand. I donââ?¬â?¢t think that we have ever been so negatively portrayed in the media as we are at the moment, and that is all down to David Murrayââ?¬â?¢s refusal to stand up to our enemies. Our public image is at an all time low, we are never ââ?¬Ë?talked upââ?¬â?¢ on national TV unlike the sons of Satan who have all on sundry talking them up and the likes of Rod Stewart to The Fruitellies declaring their love for ââ?¬Ë?ra hoopsââ?¬â?¢ at every opportunity. That has given them a march on the ââ?¬Ë?English marketââ?¬â?¢ and we are falling way behind them in that respect. We can not survive on ââ?¬Ë?Scottish supportââ?¬â?¢ alone and this needs to be readdressed as soon as possible. In all honesty, do you think we are an attractive proposition for people to support at the moment? IMO, the only fans we are likely to attract are those who come from a ââ?¬Ë?Rangers familyââ?¬â?¢ ââ?¬â?? yes, we need these fans, but we also need to be attractive to the ââ?¬Ë?neutralââ?¬â?¢ and we arenââ?¬â?¢t at the moment. Critical Christmas We are now approaching a critical time of the season where we will face teams that are close to us and if we are to take any positives from this season, we must come through this period (from today until New Years Day) winning ALL the games we play. We start with the visit of Hibs who are playing brilliantly at the moment and are breathing down our necks. Next up, we face Craptic at Ibrox in a game we MUST win. Then, we have trips to Abergreen and Inverness followed by a busy New Year period. If we can come out of this with 6 victories, we will have at least, cemented 2nd place in the league. However, if we drop any more points during this period, it is debateable if we will have European football to look forward to next season. Bleak Future All in all, it all adds up to a very bleak future for Rangers and us the supporters and I canââ?¬â?¢t see anything changing for the positive until David Murray sells up and ships out. He has shown that whilst we are ââ?¬Ë?up for saleââ?¬â?¢ there will be little or no investment in the squad and youth development and no effort put in to promoting Rangers FC and defending us the fans from the continual onslaught from the press, politicians and UEFA (who all clearly have an agenda). So what can we do? Very little unless we galvanise and make a concerted effort in getting Murray to act sooner rather than later. However, the demonstrations and the reactions to them from the majority of the Rangers fans shows that for some reason, David Murray has the support of the majority of the Rangers support. If this doesnââ?¬â?¢t change and change soon, we are in for a bleak(er) future which will see is fall into the shadow of our bitterest rivals. Cammy F ââ?¬â?? We Are The Peopleââ?¬Â¦.

If any of you are old enough to remember this song, post the next line.... lets see if we can have all the lyrics posted by tomorrow 'If I had the wings of an eagle' Cammy F

Leggo is spot on once again and raises many valid points and questions. I just wonder if Joke McConnell and Nil By Cake-hole will have the decency to respond to his legitimate topics of concern? Cammy F

I have never heard any effteepee add-ons to Derrys Walls in my 25 years of following Rangers and certainly never heard them yesterday. Now, that is not to say that some fans didn't sing effteepee at the end / during of OTHER songs tho Cammy F

This weeks events have further convinced me that even after the bulldozers have rumbled down Edminston Drive, flattened Ibrox, built luxury flats and DM swans off into the sunset even richer than he is now, some Rangers fans will not blame Murray, but direct their ire at the RST, TBO and the 'anti-Murray Rangers fans'.... As I said last week, it took the Tims around 10 years to finally come to realise that it was all the boards fault - they finally realised about 2 minutes before the bank closed the doors. I thought we were more intelligent than them, it appears not. Cammy F

Didn't Murray say that money went to servicing the debt? If thats true, does that mean he has taken back the majority of the £50M 'gift' he gave us? Another web woven by Mr Murray me thinks... Cammy F
