see below, Jim Traynor says we deserved it. A first hand account posted on FF - http://forum.followfollow.com/showthread.php?t=239436 sounds horrible and as someone who saw the Spanish Police at close quarters in Villarreal, something really has to be done about this. Over to you David Murray..... Cammy F

IMO we require 2 full backs as I am not convinced that Hutton and Smith are the answer. After watching Murray this season, he certainly isn't the answer at left back, so even if Smith does make it, we need cover. Webster and Svensson will be the 'long term' solution to the centre-half positions and we have the option of dropping Hendami back there as he has played there during his career. Midfiled - Ferguson, Hendami and Thomson are far to similar - hence the reason we have to play Fergie as a 'striker'. If Hendami moves back, then Fergie and Thomson would be our central midfielders. What we lack in midfield is players who are fast, skillful and can play that 'killer' pass. Whilst Brown and mcCullock aren't 'world class' they would be an improvement on what we currently have. The forward area is where we are struggling the most. Boyd, for all his goals isn't the answer. He lacks pace, link up play and movement. We require 2 forwards, both who will be fast, agile and can finish. Lovenkrands would be ideal! and (and I know I'm dreaming here) but why not try and get Mido on loan from Spurs (he is 4th choice there at the moment). All in all, a lot of rebuilding required. Think that is due to a cut and paste problems - the list under winners should be followed as a 'runner up' - anything after a 'space' is a runners up. Cammy F

Have we, as a support, ever found ourselves in a predicament such as the one that faces us at this moment in time? We have an owner (Chairman, custodian, call him what you like) who is running our club into the ground and who is content to sit back and watch us suffer at the hands of political policing, campaigned attacks from media with an agenda and off course, our friends from UEFA. Firstly, Iââ?¬â?¢ll say something that is as controversial as the problems that we face. I donââ?¬â?¢t think that enough of us really care about Mr Murrayââ?¬â?¢s mismanagement or the ââ?¬Ë?political policingââ?¬â?¢ that has been more and more evident on our travels in Scotland for the last 3-4 years. So before we can go about righting the wrongs, we have to engage the ââ?¬Ë?silent majorityââ?¬â?¢ of Rangers fans and open their eyes to the severe problems we face both from within and out-with the Rangers boardroom. As ââ?¬Ë?One Voiceââ?¬â?¢ we can not be ignored in the corridors of power be it at Ibrox of The Scottish Parliament. The RST have thus far been the only ââ?¬Ë?publicââ?¬â?¢ voice of the support and are in constant dialogue with Mr Murray and after the OF game, have asked for a meeting with the police of the policing of said OF game. However, the direction should be coming from within Ibrox. Our owner should be the one that is asking the police why they removed Union Flags from Rangers fans, why they told certain fans that singing Rule Britannia and No Tims In Europe was ââ?¬Ë?sectarianââ?¬â?¢. Our owner should be asking why Rangers fans were 90% more likely to be arrested than Craptic fans at OF game at The Towers. Instead, Dodgy Dave thinks a ââ?¬Ë?dignified silenceââ?¬â?¢ will get us answers. All our ills off and on the pitch point directly back to Dodgy Dave. However, he (God knows how) still retains ionic status amongst the majority of fans. Until we change this misconception, we are farting against thunder and our team will continually go backwards on the pitch and it will come to a day where it will be deemed sectarian if you say that you support Rangers. Now Thatââ?¬â?¢s What I Call Sectarian Beep, Beep here comes the offended bus with Timmy as driver and Jhoke McConnell as ticket collector. After our narrow, but enjoyable victory of the forces of evil, it appears that Timmy, with help from his cohorts in parliament and the media have found a whole lot of new stuff to be offended by ; The Bouncy ââ?¬â?? although been done for years by Bears, Timmy has informed everyone whoââ?¬â?¢ll listen that it celebrates a murder of a catholic in Belfast. The Union Flag ââ?¬â?? yip, the only country in the world where the flag of foreign countries is more welcome and less ââ?¬Ë?offensiveââ?¬â?¢ than OUR OWN flag The National Anthem ââ?¬â?? 90,000 Irish men and woman stood in respect of GSTQ at Crooke Park ââ?¬â?? pity the plastic paddies at Parkhead donââ?¬â?¢t have the same respect as those they claim to ââ?¬Ë?portrayââ?¬â?¢ Punch a Pape ââ?¬â?? No, not one of Stu Francis catchphrases from Crackerjack but apparently a past time of all us big bad Presbyterians Kill A ****** Before I die ââ?¬â?? a song that lives only in Timmyââ?¬â?¢s head. The Dam-busters ââ?¬â?? No sorry, its not the Dam-busters that weââ?¬â?¢ve been doing for years, this is a new version that is done to offend Nakard-motor. Honestly, if Timââ?¬â?¢s didnââ?¬â?¢t exist you couldnââ?¬â?¢t make them up. But this is what we are up against. These lies are printed on craptic websites and picked up by journalists and the next thing we know, they are making news headlines and taken as FACT. What does our club do about it? Nothing, they shrug their shoulders and hope that by not denying these lies, that the public will not listen to the peddlers of hate. It is time that we realised that this mob of bigots (as that is what they are) will be offended by ANYTHING that we do or say (think I am paranoid? then care to explain how one goes about cutting grass into a ââ?¬Ë?sash designââ?¬â?¢?). If we donââ?¬â?¢t fight back highlighting their hypocrisy and their agendas then folks it wonââ?¬â?¢t be long until it is ââ?¬Ë?offensiveââ?¬â?¢ to walk down the street wearing a Rangers top. Cammy F

When has any TIM ever been 'fair minded' when it comes to anything conected to Rangers tho Souness is one of the best players ever to be produced by this country. I think the problem he has with the 'public' is that most of his career was outside Scotland. Cammy F

So claimed a bitter yahoo (are we still allowed to refer to them as bitter!!!) in todays Retard phone-in. Claiming that Souness was wrong to have a go at (poor wee victimised - this has always got to proceed his name now) Neil. So Ms Bitter and Twisted Yahoo, here is a list of Souness achievements as a player and manager - wonder how Neil measures up against this (list borrowsed from FF); Honours as player Liverpool Winners 1977-78 European Cup 1978-79 League Championship 1979-80 Charity Shield 1979-80 League Championship 1980-81 Charity Shield 1980-81 League Cup 1980-81 European Cup 1981-82 League Cup 1981-82 League Championship 1982-83 Charity Shield 1982-83 League Cup 1982-83 League Championship 1983-84 League Cup 1983-84 League Championship 1983-84 European Cup Runner Up 1977-78 League Championship 1978-79 European Super Cup 1981-82 Intercontinental Cup 1983-84 Charity Shield Sampdoria Winners 1984-85 Coppa Italia Rangers Winners 1986-87 Scottish League Cup 1986-87 Scottish Premier League 1987-88 Scottish League Cup 1988-89 Scottish Cup Honours as manager Rangers Winners 1986-87 Scottish League Cup 1986-87 Scottish Premier League 1987-88 Scottish League Cup 1988-89 Scottish League Cup 1988-89 Scottish Premier League 1989-90 Scottish Premier League 1990-91 Scottish League Cup 1990-91 Scottish Premier League (Left with 5 games to go) 1988-89 Scottish Cup 1989-90 Scottish League Cup Liverpool Winners 1991-92 FA Cup Runner Up 1992-93 Charity Shield Galatasaray Winners 1995-96 Turkish Cup 1996-97 Turkish Super Cup Blackburn Rovers Winners 2001-02 League Cup Played in 3 World Cups and won 54 caps -------------------------------------------------------- Cammy F - Graeme Souness Loyal RSC

Without Scotland there is no Britain. Without the saltire there is no Union Flag. Gribz, there is more to their hatrid. This and my last post may sound like paranoid ramblings, but they hate everything we stand for. The hate the Union, the hate the fact that we advocate free thinking on all subjects and whilst being christian (small c) we will not be dictated to from a wee man in a funny hat. I have just resigned from a job that I had (many reasons) and I am seriously thinking for moving abroad rather than stay in a country that is being run by a 'Church' who see me as a bigot just because I don't agree with their 'thinkings'. When I continually highlight the ills of living in Scotland, I am tagged as 'anti-Scottish'. Hopefully Frankie's brilliant post highlighting the fact that Jhoke and his rebel loving scumbags (as that is what they are, he shares an office with an ex-ira supporting flute band member who still has his 'political tattoos') will use any excuse to deflect from what a shitey little country this has become. He and his rebel loving scumbags are more than happy to use their anti-Presbyterian agenda to show us, the majority as the big bad bigots. Never mind tackling the overcrowded prisons, the overwork courts, the drug and drink culture that is crippling the NHS. Never mind tackling the racism, the crime rate and the knife and gun culture. No, lets focus on those big bad Rangers supporters. And guess what, at the next election, those same big bad Rangers supporters will trot of to the polling stations in their droves and put an HUGE BIG 'X' against the monkey that is standing for Labour. We are the only ones that can change this country and we can only change it but voting these frookers out. We can change it by claiming back 'the working mans party'. But like changing Rangers, not that many of us actually care. Cammy F - Cynical and Controversial Loyal RSC.

I would rather see us look at taking Foster on loan from Man U - he has been very good at Watford this season. Brown I would take, but can't believe we are continually linked with McDonald. Cammy F
-
Off course not, but I don't know any manager who would change his thinking on tactics to accomidate a lazy player who does not have the basic footballing abilities. The only manager who I can remember changing his formation around a player was Keegan at Newcastle when they were romping the EPL. He lived to regret that... Cammy F
-
If thats true, why don't you give his name to Strathclydes finest - they've been searching 2 years for him Cammy F

Neither Boyd NOR Sebo are Rangers class - I've never advocated Sebo ahead of Boyd. As for WS tactics, thats why he is a successful and sought after manager and thats why we are debating his merits on a fans forum:yawn: Cammy F

In all seriousness, how can the Ginger Bigot get away with this? The picture shows the forth official, stewards and Police who must have seen the Ginger Bigots actions - he must be repremanded for this. Cammy F
-
But WS doesn't think like that. He'll hope that we can defend and not conceed and hope that we score from a set-piece. Not the best tactics but it worked on Sunday and IMO WS will play the same tactics on Wednesday. Cammy F
-
McCoist was a young striker when he first signed with Rangers and he was playing in a WORSE Rangers team - didn't stop him scoring goals and didn't stop him putting in a shift. Rod Wallace wasn't a goal-scorer before playing for Rangers - DA turned him into a player who could and did score at the highest level. Boyd couldnt hold a light to either of those players But he hasn't - PLG dropped him and now WS has dropped him in favour of strikers who will put in a shift. IMO, he'll not be playing on Wednesday either. Cammy F
-
Yes it should - look back at players like McCoist and Wallace. Whilst they scored against the 'lesser teams' they also scored in 1-0's or 2-1's regularly. You could DEPEND on them to score the winner in tight games. You had a feeling that no matter how bad we, our they themselves were playing, that they would still score a goal. You just don't get that feeling with Boyd. I am happy that he can score goals, what I am unhappy about is his apparent lack of of effort in games that aren't going our way. I am not happy that even after all this time, he can't control a ball and has no basic footballing skills. Cammy F
-
Not how I see it - I have NEVER and still don't, have any confidence in Boyd scoring in OF and European games. He isn't the type of player who will do nothing for 89 minutes, then stick a guilt-edged chance away that see's us win a game. I wrote on another 'Boyd' thread that his 'winning goals' (i.e goals that have won us a game 1-0, 2-1) is in single figures. For a player who scores as many goals as he does, that surely is a concern? Add this to his terrible workrate, first touch, passing, hold up play, IMO he is not the 'centre forward' to win us leagues and take us forward in Europe. A squad player at best. Cammy F
-
He is easily nullified in OF and European games. Experienced defenders know how to cope with him - simply keep him out of the box and its like playing against 10 men. Cammy F
-
I think WS will stick with the formation he played at San Giro with Rae replacing Fergie. Not the team or formation that I'd play, but I would expect WS to try and get a performance / result akin to the one at San Giro. Cammy F
-
It isn't the fact that he hasn't scored against Craptic nor enough in Europe, it is his alround performances. He just doesn't look like scoring in those games and doesn't do enough for the team. He can not hold the ball up. He is as slow as me. He can't control the ball. He can't bring in players around him. He is cumbersome. He is lazy. He doesn't win enough in the air. He is easily nulified. Cammy F

The team that are currently running away with the SPL don't have a player who is anywhere near Boyd in the scoring charts. The last twice we won the league, we didn't have a player who was anywhere near Boyd in the scoring charts. What we need in a front player is a player who can lead the line, who can hold the ball up, who can bring in players from midfield, who is very mobile, fast, skillfull etc. That just isn't Boyd and I'm sorry, but he hasn't improved all of the above under 3 managers, so I don't think he has that in his locker. Yes, maybe with another striker around him, he would improve, but should a manager adapt his formation around a player who lacks the basic footballing skills? Cammy F
