  1. And I remember one year in the mid-80's it was on the same day as a Hibs Rangers game at Easter Road. Never seen so many 'hard men' (well they looked hard growling at folks on Princess Street) hide behind those they hate (British Police Force) when a few thousand Bears decided to gatecrash their 'walk' :uzi:  Cammy F
  2. How long before the lying scumbags in the media say it was us who racially abused Run DMB? Well, they have previous, some of them have printed that it was us who racially abused Mark Walters on his Rangers debut and throw bananas at him.... Cammy F - Cynical Ole Bassa Loyal RSC
  3. Well BC2, some of your fellow fans don't agree with your definition - this badge was taken of a CFC website - EDIT - also remember hearing your fans singing a version of Roamin' In The Glomin (sp) with the line 'With St Patricks Fen*** band'..... As far as I am aware, the Fen*** movement is now part of the Ancient Order Of Hiberian will is still alive and kicking in this, and other countries. But like you say, better to agree to disagree....! Cammy F
  4. Exactly - but there is no denying that some Rangers fans do not know the meaning of the word and that it is today, used as a descrimonary term for 'catholics'. Cammy F
  5. It makes you wonder what The Goalie would have been worth in todays over-inflated transfer market. Cammy F
  6. BC2 - very interesting reply and well put. However, there is a 'F*****n movement' and there are plenty of people who proudly call and refer to themsevles as f***** and as such, it should be considered the same as 'orange' when it comes to the sectarian debate. Your arguement regarding the IRA is also interesting, but come on, could the vast majority of those singing about the IRA tell you the history of the IRA and the troubles in NI? I doubt it - exactly the same with the majority of Rangers fans who sing about the UVF. The original UVF which most 'loyalist songs' refer to were a decorated regiment in the British Army and in no way were they 'sectarian'. However, the same can't be said about today. The term HUN is was deemed unacceptable by the Scottish Executive and NDM but yet we still get mainstream journalists etc using this term with impunity. In fact, we even had John Hartson use this term when interviewed on TV - yet none of them have been brought to task over the use of the word. BTW, Bryce was a fellow timposter who used this forum for ages - was just wondering if BC2 was a reincarnation of Bryce.. Cammy F
  7. Papac for me, he was simply outstanding Cammy F

    Sssshhhh

whisper it, but the SN deal *may* be back on - from what I am hearing from a semi-reliable source currently out in Montenegro the deal for SN could be reconstructed if we qualify this evening and he could be signed before the next CL deadline. Hold onto your hats, here we go again......:uzi: Cammy F
  9. From what I am hearing, Novo isn't 100% fit that is why he has started the season on the bench - he is a great player to have coming off the bench to make an impact when required. Can't say that I am surprised with the team line-up, just about what most of us would have expected. Cammy F
  10. BC2 (is it Bryce Cundy per chance, thats for another thread!!), you are correct in what you say. For instance, I do not find 'rebel songs' offensive but as soon as the IRA are mentioned, then yes, I do find them offensive. I also find any reference to 'hun', 'animals' and DOB's offensive as well. Craptic have many 'rebel songs' that they have bastardised like 'We Are All Of To Dublin In The Green - FCUK the Queen', 'North Men South Men one and all, Soon there will be no Protestants at all' etc and yes I find these offensive. However, where the SFA have fooked up is by saying that any offensive song is to be 'investigated'. As Gordon Smith says, will the SFA close down stands at Hampdump as soon as the TA sing (the homophobic) Jimmy Hill song and their usual anti-English bile? This is going to be a long hard season off the pitch for most clubs. Cammy F
  11. Another fantastic statement by the RST and hopefully one that will be picked up and used by the media. Also worth noting that David Edger was superb on both SSN and Real Radio tonight. How this man isn't the PR for Rangers I'll never know. Cammy F
  12. A very entertaining game by all accounts. Cammy F
  13. If JCD isn't fit then I'd go with the team you posted. However, if he is fit, he'd get the nob to play lone striker ahead of McCulloch simply due to his pace. I would then replace DMB with McCulloch. Cammy F
  14. We must build on this early slip-up - we have two home games, they have two away, so we MUST take 6 points from the next two games and hope that they drop even more. Cammy F
  15. BF for me also, he was head and shoulders above any other player on the pitch. Even in terrible conditions he continually got the ball down and played football. Range of passing was excellent and topped of with 2 brilliant goals. Thought Thomson deserved more tho - does all the spade work that allows Fergie the freedom to play so well. Also, very worried about Hendami's start to the season - hasn't impressed at all. Hopefully not be long until he is back to his best Cammy F
  16. To show how much work we still have to do, would anyone like to guess at the % of us who actually sing the correct words to our club anthem Follow Follow? I would suggest that at away games, less the 10% - at Ibrox, maybe 30%. It is time to reclaim OUR songs and sing the original lyrics. Never mind fooking this one, or that one - we are Rangers and where did all this 'hate' come from? It is worth reiterating that over the course of 2 years, the NI fans managed to drop all the political and 'sectarian' songs and actually improved the atmosphere at games (ditto Linfield). Surely we can take lessons from them? Cammy F
  17. Yeah, I can remember Rangers sending teams over for this comp. Don't know why they stopped. Is it still televised in NI? Cammy F
  18. It is not often that I agree with Jim Traynor but he summed it up yesterday - the idiots that continue to ruin our fine songs with these add-ons are NOT Rangers supporters its as simple as that. Anyone who continues to participate in behaviour that will see us docked points simply isn't a Rangers fan. As Eightball says, this problem is noe consigned to our away support and I'm sorry, but the exuses of drink etc ain't gonna wash. We have to eradicate this now. I don't think it'll come to this. If we are found guilty (and we will be) we will receive a warning from the SPL and SFA. However, if it continues, then we will be fined. It will also be intereting to see what the SPL rep says after the Edinburgh derby tomorrow and after Scumtics first away game. Cammy F
  19. Again, there is something 'not quite right' about this 'interest' from Craptic. They want to know for sure if SN will 'talk' to them before submitting an offer - surely that is called 'tapping up'..... Anyway, if he chooses to go to the darkside, then so be it. Cammy F

"Everyone wants to come and play on this side of the city, it's a great club and I am so happy to be here." Welcome to Ibrox and to the Rangers family Cammy F
  21. Well UEFA have shown that an organisation can 'go after one club' whilst ignoring othger clubs. Is TBB any worse than the racist chanting at Lazio and Roma as an example? Cammy F
  22. But what is 'sectarian' - that is the question that hasn't been answered. If it is wrong (and it is) to be up to your knees in f***** blood, then surely its as equally wrong to be up to your knees in say, Hibee blood? Is the national anthem of this country 'sectarian' as some claim? Is flying the flag of this country (and its associated nations) sectarian as claimed by others? I know and understand that certain of our songs will have to stop - I've never denied that - but until someone actually tells us what is 'offensive' we are pishing against the wind. As I said above, this season could see us deducted points for singing GSTQ whilst Aberdeen fans will be free to sing about the Ibrox disaster. I am sure we can all agree that this is unfair and wrong? Cammy F
  23. Iââ?¬â?¢ll put that down to naivety of youth :fish: There is only so much one-sided time, effort, money, love, devotion etc that you can put into a relationship with nothing in response. My love for Rangers is still there but I feel that Rangers no longer loves me. In fact, they continually cheat on me and hurt me beyond believe. I know that they are ââ?¬Ë?sickââ?¬â?¢ at the moment and with the correct treatment their love for me would return. However, no matter how many people I ask, or how many specialists that I consult, too many people donââ?¬â?¢t see the pain and suffering Rangers are currently in. I can only take so much and I am close to divorcing Rangers. There will be no other woman for me tho, if I divorce or separate from Rangers, they will remain my ââ?¬Ë?one and onlyââ?¬â?¢. However, if I can educate myself and find the medicine require, Iââ?¬â?¢ll cut out and kill the cancer that is currently sucking the life out of Rangers. Or am I being to harsh, should we be able to forgive all sins? Cammy F
  24. I wonder how much we got for him? FCK - we'll give you £500,000 for Sionko MB - go fook yourselves, he not worth a penny more that £250,000 FCK - Er, OK, here's £150,000 pounds MB - Deal Cammy F
  25. In other words, we're fooked Cammy F
