  1. For me it was between Tav, Cerny and Dessers. Tav moving to CB stabilised our defence which then gave us a platform to build and get back into the game. If only we had a RB we could play Tav CB for remainder of the season. Cerny has been the player who always looks likely to get us something. Took his goal well and was involved in most of our good attacking play. Dessers led the line brilliantly, set up the 4th goal with a great touch and scored 2 goals (equaliser and goal to give us the lead which suggests he does, in fact, score "important " goals). Now on 20 for the season after bagging 22 last season. Gone with Dessers.
  2. 1 without looking at their historical accounts which is something I would rather avoid I can't really say. 2. Not to long. If, as is being reported that the consortium will pay of the debt. We generate over £90M annually. If they can quickly sort out our structure and get a decent coach, winning a two horse race becomes 'doable'. Then we have access to the CL riches. They also mentioned capitalising on merchandise which is another easy and quick fix. If you haven't listened to the podcast I posted, I'd recommend that you do. In less than 30mins you'll get a very good insight into what to expect (if they mirror Leeds investment). The only long-term disadvantage is ground capacity and the increased revenue they have from that.
  3. Would be good to see Bajrami get a run of games in his natural position.
  4. Interesting to hear Barry say in his interview on SKY that he's always believed there is a player in Dessers. You are correct, 2nd half he was unplayable. The touch for the 3rd goal was brilliant and his finish to make it 3-2 gets better every time you watch it. 22 goals last season and already on 20 this season - fair play to the big-man.
  5. He looked like he was bursting with pride at full-time when going to the fans.
  6. Correct with the exception of Igamane in my opinion. He was on the edges of the game but didn't really spark. Dessers does Dessers things. Misses chances he should score but still gets 2 - his second was a sublime finish from a wonderful pass from Ridvan. Tav was great at CB and seemed to steady Propper who was struggling alongside Nsiala.
  7. Woeful start to the game, but great to see BF changing it early and it gave us sufficient time to get back into game. 2nd half much better and some great goals.
  8. So much better since Nsiala was subbed - bullied on Saturday and obviously targeted tonight. Still an uphill battle in 2nd half but at least we have a foot in the game now.
  9. The sooner this takeover happens the better - a fucking laughing stock.
  10. Oh, I'd agree with this - especially retro-style kits etc.
  11. They also demonstrate that even playing in Scotland that there is money to be made. Off course, this is dependent on being successful, being well run, having the correct structure in place and having a working player trading model.
  12. Rangers 2 v 1 Killie Dessers FGS
  13. If I remember correctly we do well from our current merchandise contract but agree, we need more shops. Castore are one of the leading sportswear manufacturers and they are opening shops all over the UK. I know Falkirk, Ayr and Livingston have (relatively) new Rangers shops but can't speak for Glasgow City Centre.
  14. Some fight, pace and decent football wouldn't go amiss However, given the venue (poor playing surface) and our poor away form / record not expecting too much.
  15. What each and every fan has to weigh up, in their opinion, are the risks associated with any takeover more or less than the risks of staying with the current regime. One is known (risks of status quo) and one unkown, we can speculate about the consortium's intentions but they'll remain largely unknown until they have control of the club. However, as they are currently in control of Leeds, there is evidence available of how they are running / investing in Leeds. The podcast I posted the other day also offers insight to how they would go about turning us around. I am not 100% convinced with this takeover, but I'm convinced it's less risky than sticking with the status-quo. There's only 2 players in this game, we need to back one.
  16. If you look back, I have praised them. In fact, I said that they all should be remembered and thanked for saving us from the spivs just the other day. However, I hold them responsible for the mess we are in. If you think others are to blame, fine but as far as I can see, they have to take full responsibility.

  18. McGregor looks raging in most of the photos I've seen, but nothing unusual there though 🤔
  19. It may be simplistic but its the main reason we are where we are. We are at a stage where we can't operate without being given loans and are still posting losses. The board(s) are fully responsible for this, not matter their intentions.
  20. How would you describe some of their decisions? Their inability in footballing recruitment? Their project management of NEH and Copland upgrade (which still hasn't been completed)? The Australia friendly? £40M of transfer money (Bassey, Patterson & Aribo) gone? CL money gone? How would you describe a club or business who can't operate without being propped by annually by loans?
  21. I don't think there is - but that's just me. I fear if we don't take investment (and soon), we'll be back to 2012 before we know it. The current regime (plus King) should be forever remembered as those who saved us from the spivs not for putting us back near the brink (that's where we're heading). All about opinions and how you read the situation. I'm still not 100% convinced by this takeover, but I'm leaning towards believing they, more than the current regime, are better placed to take us forward. In the end, I'm sure that's what all Rangers fans want.
