  1. Always liked JCD http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/2322735/ Cammy F
  2. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/7972882.stm Anyone see this last night? Decent game, a horror challange, a comedy goal and Big Eck secures a win that takes them 6 points clear of 3rd place and 2 points behind Wolves. Cammy F
  3. Was thinking about this last night and decided to have a guess at how much money and time and I have invested in following Rangers (since I started going regularly 27 years ago). These calculations aren't exact, just some ball park figures, but still scarey nontheless ; Home Games - 27 years x average price of £250 for S/T = £6750 Away Games - 27 years x average of 10 games per season x average ticket price of £20 = £5400 Cup Ties - 27 years x average of 6 ties per season x average ticket price of £20 = £3240 Home European Ties - 27 years x average of 3 games per season x average of £25 per ticket = £2025 European Trips = £1000 Bus Fare/Prgrammes/ Fanzines - 27 years x average of 36 games per season x £8 = £7776 Merchandise - 27 years x average spend of £100 = £2700 The above works out at a grand total of £28891 add to that, that my wife has been going for a third of that time (so add another ~£9,000) to that. I haven't figured in the social side (RSC / TBO Dances, staying away for an extended break during European trips, staying out in cities after the football for meals and drinks, staying over night - hotel bills etc). So a conservative estimate would be - ~£40,000 monetory terms and at an average of 36 games per season and an average of 6 hours spent travelling to and from games (at home games we leave at 12:30PM and are home around 18:30PM) works out at 5832 hours (thats excluding European trips). I haven't figured in friendlies, testimonials etc.... Frightening. Cammy F
  4. Yip, he hardly hides his anti-Rangers agenda and it's time for him to go. As for Hampdump, a total waste of money and instead of redeveloping Hampden, the SFA should either have got into bed with the SRU and rented Murrayfield or built a new national stadium that has easy access from motorways, and in a more central location. 5. There is loyalty and blind loyalty. I have been guilty of the later in the past, but probably not in the future. Cammy F
  6. Maybe it's may age, but I am getting tired, bored and resentful of the time and effort required following Rangers. I have almost decided to give up my season ticket and if I'm honest, I don't think I'll be going to any more away games. This is a tough decision as I like my trips all over Scotland, but as I said above, with 12:30 kick-offs in places like Aberdeen and Inverness, it is getting really hard to gee myself up for these trips. As for home games, the cost isn't really the issue, its whether I continue to finance a regime that I believe to be corupt. Can I continue to convince myslelf that I can continue to pay SDM £800+ for two season tickets whilst decrying him? Also, it can't be argued that we AREN'T receiving value for money. The day I stop going to support Rangers will be one of the saddest days in my life, but I know that that day is coming closer and closer. Cammy F
  7. SAF rates him very highly indeed and is desperate to give him as much first team football as possible, hence the idea of sending him out on loan. Man U are fantastic at this, they send many young players out on loan ensuring that they get as much exposure to first team football as possible. SKY Sports showed his hat-trick against Newcastle in the reserves last week - took all three goals really well. Cammy F
  8. Maybe Tricky Dicky owes SDM a favour... Cammy F
  9. I'll take it Jon, unless anyone else wants to do it Cammy F
  10. As I said on another thread, it wouldn't surprise me if deals to move McGregor and Ferguson have already been shaken on. The antics of placing them on the transfer list and suspending them for 2 weeks is to ease any pressure that would have been applied to these sales ala the Kris Boyd situation in January. Cammy F
  11. Expect Christian Dailly to partner Mendes on Wednesday. Cammy F
  12. Wasn't he the ManU player linked with a loan move to us in The Herald recently? Cammy F
  13. Because they believe that we are. Clueless and faceless remember...... Cammy F
  14. Saw the first 70 odd minutes before heading off to Falkirk yesterday - a decent game spoiled by the coin throwers. Why are Cardiff only concerned about the thrower who struck the ref? What about the other dozen of so coins that were thrown at the same time and thankfully never hit anyone? Cammy F
  15. Pay for 3 seasons with a 5% discount.... Cammy F
  16. The cynic in me believes that the deals to take McGregor and Ferguson away from Rangers have already been 'shaken on'. Cammy F
  17. Just heard the postie delivering post this morning - will check and see if ours have arrived. As you say, some long, hard thinking ahead of the next weeks and months. Cammy F
  18. If only SDM had the balls to come out and admit to that fact..... Cammy F
  19. So that's 3 Rangers fans cleared. Do we know if any of those arrested have actually been founf guilty? Looks like GMP are really on the ball eh..... Cammy F
  20. Agreed, Neil McCann was the best man on the pitch by a country mile Cammy F
  21. For that level of dross served up, I'd have given a blankek 2 out of ten across the board Cammy F
  22. Agree with Weir for MOTM but think you've been a little kind to some players in your awards :box: Cammy F
  23. Even more reason for every Scottish Rangers player to quit international football. They hate us, they don't want us, so lets see if they can live without us. Cammy F - Fcuk The SFA loyal RSC
  24. Have 6 tickets for St Mirren for sale if anyone is interested (PM me!) Cammy F
  25. Tickets are away - thanks for looking! Cammy F
