If Kris Boyds latest squeeze is in the same league as Mrs Jardel, then I might just change my opinion of Mr Boyd.... Cammy F

When Graeme Souness left Rangers for Liverpool leaving Walter Smith to negotiate a tricky title run-in, we played Motherwell at Fir Park in the 2nd last game of the season (we lost 3-0 leaving us having to beat AFC in the last game of the season at Ibrox, which we thankfully did!) and Chelsea entertained Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. As someone who has had a soft spot for Chelsea since the late 70's, I ran a bus to this game at The Bridge. On arrving at The Bridge, it was obvious that there was a huge Rangers support down that day (as was also witnessed at a few Chelsea games in that era), maybe numbering over 1,000. As we entered the infamous 'Shed', the patrons parted and welcomed the Rangers fans in with a chorus of 'Rangers, Rangers, Rangers'... Our praises were sung amny times that afternoon. It is a surreal sensation hearing supporters of other clubs singing your name, and it does make you feel welcome and part of a footballing friendship. Some people dismiss this as something akin to a Tim love-in, but it is different in the fact that it is resiprecated (sp), and not 'asked for'. Since reading and hearing of the Hamburg connection, I must admit that I have looked out for their results, and it is one of the places I have on my 'wish list' to visit and take in a game. Cammy F

I said a few weeks back, after the Falkirk game, that I was never going to another Rangers away game due to the dross being served up on the pitch, the current financial climate and the harrassement we receive away from Ibrox. Given that, I reluctantly refused an offer of tickets from the St Mirren game as I wanted to visit their new stadium. I resigned myself to not going and watched the game on Sentanta (a free trial via Virgin - refuse to pay for it!). Anyway, going to the Motherwell game on Saturday and names were being taken for Easter Road on Sunday. Guess what, I stuck my name down of a ticket, so I'm heading into Leithshire on Sunday and look forward to another visit to Easter Road. Now, I have also loved going to Easter Road, there is always a wonderful atmosphere and who can forget Helicopter Sunday? Yip, Easter Road will always have a place in my heart after witnessing the events of Helicpoter Sunday. See, I am trying to justify my decision to break my promise after only missing ONE away game. I also said that I was 99% certain that I wouldn't renew my season ticket. Guess what? It has been filled out, signed, envaloped, but as yet is unstamped. I know that as soon as we have stamps, I'll post my renewal. Why do I allow my heart to rule my head when it comes to Rangers? Outwith Rangers, I am a levelheaded person who doesn't allow his heart to rule is head, but when it comes to Rangers, all sense goes out the window. I hope I have the courage of my convictions and after Easter Road, refuse to go to any post-split away games (yeah, who am I kidding) and refrain from posting my renewal. Cammy F

Nah, some RANGERS fans won't be happy until Ferguson (in particular) is hung (drawn and quartered) from the famous gates at The Copland Road. Cammy F

Ian Ferguson gave the TA a finger gesture and wasn't fined by the club, nor was he sin-died from playing for Scotland. Strange that these decorian rules have suddenly been dragged out and applied to one third of the guilty party just as we enter the tail end of a very close SPL title race. I wonder if me and 5 friends decided to break the law and only two of us stayed longer than the other four, would the two left standing be the only ones punished? Cammy F

Or to take the field in many cup finals and OF games when he freely admitted that he needed a 'drink' to calm his nerves. Cammy F

If those rules were fairly applied throughout the team, we'd only have 4 or 5 players to pick a team from tho. Cammy F

Did you have the same feelings when Andy Goram was transfer listed by Walter Smith for his off-field behaviour? The Goalie was then recalled and displayed the best form of his career? Were you calling for Gazza to be sacked and sold when he battered his wife? Or when he went on drinking sprees? Were you calling for Richard Gough to be sold when he told of days long drinking and bonding sessions during 9-in-a-row? Cammy F

I remember Hamburg playing Celtc in Europe back in the 90's during our 9-in-a-row era and the game at parkhead saw many Rangers fans in the Hamburg end and many Rangers banners on display. The return leg saw Hamburg entering the pitch to simply the best and a blast of follow follow.... As Bluebell says above, the 'friendship' started when some Scottish workers based in hamburg set up a RSC. This has happened in a few other German cities as well. We also have a large RSC in the old East Germany. A video from last night with the Hamburg fans singing 'Glasgow Rangers'... Arsenal played very well in patches but thought they were lucky with the penalty decision - in saying that, I couldn't see Villarreal winning the game, never mind the tie. Man U were dogged whilst Porto couldn't recapture their form from the 1st leg at Old Trafford. Makes the semi-finals very interesting and no matter who progresses to the final, there will be an interesting sub-plot to the final. Cammy F

Off course not, where have I said that Feguson should play wide right, if even at all? Our entire midfield has been very inconsistant this season, and that includes Barry Ferguson. However, Fergusons lack of quality is often highlighted whereas Davis and Mendes are treated like two superstars. Walter Smiths refusal to drop or even sub Steven Davis recently is baffling in the extreme. He has been terrible and contributes nothing to the team. Nevermind tho, lets all get on the back of Ferguson, he's to blame for all our deficancies (sp). Just lambasting the manager given the little or no alternatives we have for some positions given that he spunked £20M on forwards and centre midfield players in the summer and neglected to sign fullbacks or a wide right player. Cammy F

Hardly Fergusons fault - or are all Rangers' onfield problems Barry Fergusons fault? Is he at fault from Steven Davis being terrible? is he at fault for mendes being inconsistant? His he at fault for Kenny Miller, Kris Boyd and Nacho Novo missing sitters in games we should have won? Is he to blame for Walter Smiths tactical changes (sic), formations and team selection (well, the Barry Haters will have us believe that he does indeed pick the team)........... Without Ferguson and McGregor we have won the last 3 games but have hardly been convincing. Funnily enough, you have omitted McGregor from these charges leveled at Ferguson..... Cammy F

I am sure that I read / heard that KT was going to be out of action until September. However, I have searched forums, newspaper archives and the official site and can't find any update on KT's progress. Did I miss-hear, was I dreaming? Anyone shed any light on this? I read this on another forum this morning and was concerned with this part of the 'interview' ; It once again implies that Mark Walters was racially abused by Rangers fans. This myth has been allowed to spread since those shocking, horrible and vile scenes at Parkhead and Tynecastle. History has now been altered and instead of Celtc and Hearts fans (and a Hamilton player) being blamed for the worst outpouring of racial hatred in Scotland, it has landed on our doorstep. Nevermind, I'm sure our highly paid PR Firm are currently in contact with The Sun to put them right on this issue. Cammy F

I wouldn't say that these players should saunter back into the team on Sunday. However, with Steve Davis being terrible in recent weeks, maybe a change in that position is required. Said in a thread last week, but its criminal the sheer lack of quality that we have in our squad. Nobody to replace the off-form and lackluster Steven Davis, nobody to replace Kevin Thomson and nobody able to cement the wide left position and a lack of real fullbacks. Having these two experienced players available for the remainder of the season can only be a good thing surely? Cammy F

Really? Did you watch us, not only struggle to defeat Falkirk & St Mirren, but be outplayed by both of them for large periods of the games? You even stated yourself that we were 'average' against a poor Mothwerwell side on Saturday - can't have it both ways.... Very sensible decision by Smith, and along the same lines as what happened to Andy Goram a few years back. Both players were hung out to dry by angenda driven media outlets and the SFA made a complete arse of the entire situation. A 2 week ban/suspension is an appropriate punishment for the 'crime' especially given that only two out of six were punished. Cammy F

What a game and what a result. I was hoping that Chelsea got through as I have an unexplainable dislike for Liverpool. However, whilst watching the game last night, I have to admit that I wouldn't have minded who had eventually gone through as the game was so good. However, my dislike for Liverpool was soon rekindled after listening to that wank Thompson on SKY Sports - a hate that man! Cammy F

You don't see Velicka doing much, yet you want Naismith to start? Really cofusing given Naismith has contributed the square root of nothing since his return from injury. If we go 4-4-2 against Celtc, then it has to be two from the following ; Boyd, Miller (if fit), Novo and Lafferty. Cammy F

Nope, just says beack in full training. Maybe get a run out at some point in the Scottish Cup Semi-Final against St Mirren? Cammy F

But you have to remember the qualities (sic) that you pointed out regarding Sebo's performance at Parkhead, is exactly what a lone striker has to have playing this role. I don't and didn't rate Sebo, but that performance, whilst no being brilliant, was what he was expected to achieve. The best performance of a loan striker was Cousin in the 4-2 demolition of Celtc. He had pace, strength and skill and was well supported by Miller on that occasion. We do have the players to play this formation if WS has the bottle to play the correct players. We have Novo, Aaron, Beasley, Miller (if fit), Fleck, Lafferty (if fit) who could support a lone striker from the wider areas. Velicka has done this job before for Hearts against both ourselves and Celtc with varying degrees of success. Cammy F
