  1. Apologies that wasn't aimed at you, you never said you didn't like it. Probably shouldn't have quoted you. Apologies again. It was a general reaponse to those who slated the UBs for a message that may or may not have been inspired by MAGA. Having been a member of TBO I know what time and effort and goes into creating these displays. So I get defensive as it's easy to sit and aim criticism when not knowing or understanding what goes into these. There was / is nothing worse working your bollocks off all week on a display then hearing fellow fans say "that display was shit at the weekend". Before anyone criticises them, they should maybe look at one of the many videos on YouTube showing what it takes to get these things ready.
  2. The UBs have used our history for their displays, in fact, if it wasn't for them, there wouldn't have been a display for our 150 anniversary. The UBs aren't perfect (none of us are) but the time and effort they put in is amazing. If you don't like their displays or the sentiments of their displays, why not try organising and creating your own.
  3. Spill the beans 😉
  4. I said earlier I'm hardly a Trump fan and I never made the connection until after the game when it was mentioned on our RSC bus. I don't think I've had any issues with any of the UB or TBO displays, maybe the Peaky Blinders one was a bit close to the bone, but I didn't necessarily think it was bad / cringe.
  5. Here's one celebrating Iron Maiden who's songs have satanic undertones, how dare those pesky Devil Worshipers display this at Ibrox.....
  6. So we can't use Make Rangers Great Again as some think its linked to Donald Trump and American politics? What a sad state of affairs. So what do we use then? Rangers Must Be Made Great Again? Doesn't have the same ring to it.
  7. So you're saying those who made the banner are " mentally ill acolytes"? If you count the stars, there are 55 of them (yes, I was sad enough to count them), so the stars are referencing our titles. What statement would have been better? I think Make Rangers Great Again hits the mark.
  8. And you know that how? Or are you just surmising? Again, hats of to the UBs for all their TIFOs. Hopefully they have something special planned for tomorrow. Oh, and it reads like you've been triggered. Edit - I'm no fan of Trump, but agree 100% with the sentiment behind the banner.
  9. Yeah same here. When it was pointed out on the RSC bus my first thought was that it would trigger a few folks both within and outwith our support. Shout out to the UBs for another great display before the game.
  10. Castore own the distribution rights for Umbro in the UK and are in the process of moving all their football club contracts to Umbro.
  11. If we have ambitions to go out and play football, create chances, then Tav must start. He showed last night what he can produce. The run and pass for Igamane's goal was pure class (as was the finish). He also coped admitally with Son which in itself is no easy task.
  12. I'd tend to play Tav (won't be a surprise to many) as he showed last night what he is capable of both defensively and offensively. Sterling doesn't offer that offensive threat.
  13. To be fair, given our finances, it was probably a truer statement that we imagined 😉
  14. Not a single failure in the team / subs so a welcome difficult choice. Said in match thread thought that Tav and Raskin were outstanding. Gone for Raskin.
  15. If he is successful working from London, I don't really see an issue. Some people on FF intimating there are other underlying reasons for his departure.
  16. Yeah Dessers should have scored but he didn't, it happens. For what it's worth, I thought he was unlucky. Did brilliant to create the chance (that'll be largely forgotten) and struck the ball perfectly. Keeper somehow managed to get in the way and block the shot despite diving the wrong way. It wasn't to be, he'll score other goals in other games (like he has since he joined) and he'll still "split the fans". Hopefully the big man bags a goal, or even better, the winner on Sunday.
  17. Hoping Souttar's injury isn't bad, but knowing our luck...... Dio banned for Man U away, he'll be a big loss but 3 points from next 2 EL games should see us in top 8?
  18. Fam not happy blud, init bruv.... https://x.com/ExpressionsOOZ/status/1867350951360602160
  19. Tottenham goalscorer Dejan Kulusevski tells TNT Sports: "I think Rangers played very well, we struggled a bit. "We didn't play well enough to win the game. "I think Rangers played a perfect game, it's a beautiful stadium, the fans helped them a lot.
  20. From the BBC match thread / analysis. James Tavernier has now been directly involved in 16 Europa League goals (10 goals, six assists). The only Englishman with more goal involvements is Man United's Marcus Rashford (18) and the only one with more such assists is Arsenal's Bukayo Saka (eight). The Rangers captain also made his 53rd appearance in the Europa League - the joint-most of any English player in the competition alongside Spurs great Steve Perryman.
  21. Fantastic team performance, no failures tonight. Best we've played in a long time. Hate singling out players on a night like tonight, but Raskin and Tav were outstanding. That's the standard Rangers, keep it up.
  22. Rangers 1 v 3 Spurs Tav FGS
  23. Worrying news ahead of our new CEO starting on Monday. Only part of the business that appeared to be well run. Another hugely important role to be filled.
  24. Cerny would be a huge loss, Sterling not so much as he's barely been fit and regressed badly after a promising start to his Rangers career. Hopefully just malicious rumours.
