  1. Didn't know that Compo - speedy recovery JG.
  2. The Shire had a great social club back in the day and were partial to a wee cultural evening every now and then. Knew a few guys who played for them in mid-late 80s and went to see them a few times. Shame what happened to them.
  3. Now being claimed that what was released today was NOT the full VAR audio and that up to 30 seconds is missing. Wonder why?
  4. Yeah, part of the overall problem if we are honest with ourselves. We can't complain that the club are apathetic, when the majority of fans show the exact same (or worse) lack of enthusiasm of putting the required pressure on officials and authorities. Saturday should see whomever is referring hounded (verbally) from 1st minute to last. However, outwith a few "F the SFA" chants from UBs they'll get an easy ride.
  5. Didn't the SFA spokesmen say "honest error", "white noise" etc. The audio released throws up more questions than answers (see below). Collum admits it's a terrible decision but we can't let this lie. https://x.com/ibroxrocks/status/1869721410299658461?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^tweet
  6. Right, everyone over to Bluesky....
  7. Ron Harris
  8. We just need to start doing something other than rolling over and accepting these "honest mistakes". Sunday has given us an excellent opportunity as the decision was so obvious and factual, the VAR team / SFA etc have nowhere to hide. If we don't take this opportunity, then we'll never get a decision in these games. I fully expect us to get a soft penalty on Saturday and another on 2nd Jan which will allow the narrative to be changed back to "Penalty to Rangers".
  9. It is 100%, but we have to think of ways of changing that mindset other than coming straight out and saying they are cheats.
  10. I said in the match thread, we should look to employ an ex-referee who would analyse these decisions and post on our social media. They could begin with a dossier of incorrect decisions that have all gone against us and for Celtic over recent years. They aren't hard to find and would make for some interesting viewing. I think the issue with Sunday is that the decision isn't subjective, it's factual. No room for manoeuvre whilst trying to explain it away. Hence the false narratives of whistle being blown before Cerny is in the box.
  11. Maybe I "borrowed" busters login and posted what I really thought of the interview 🤷‍♂️😀
  12. ZaK Lovelace came on as a sub and scores 87th minute winner in a 3-2 victory over Celtic in Glasgow Cup Final. Young Cubs overcame Celtic and some dubious refereeing decisions to lift the trophy. Cortes and Matando both started the game and played 45 minutes. Congratulations to the Cubs.
  13. Keegan's time at Southampton inspired me, as a kid, to ask for this Southampton away kit for my Christmas. Remains one of my favourite ever non-Rangers kits.
  14. I had that photo on my bedroom wall in my youth and that was my 1st Rangers kit. If any photo encapsulates what a Ranger is (or should be) and what Rangers are (or should be), its this one.
  15. Started off with the usual soundbites which is fine, you wouldn't expect anything else (fans, tradition, goosebumps etc). Like his use of the phrase "cautiously optimistic" when it came to recent performances. Willing to engage with the fans is also a positive, then back to the closing soundbites (again, nothing overly concerning there). He has a tough task ahead of him and his handling and how tenacious he is seeking an explanation and reasoning behind Sunday's non-penalty will go a long way in showing us if he really us up for the massive challenges that await him. Best of British.
  16. I'm undecided whether to be a sulking fan or a real supporter. It'll depend how damaged my ears and limbs are after The Exploited gig on Friday night.
  17. Or its made by Umbro and distributed by Castore. I'll endeavour to find out from someone I know in the retail department.
  18. It sure is, be interesting to see what the attendance is on Saturday. Not the "published" attendance but the actual "bums on seats" attendance. Think Sunday will have knocked the stuffing out of a lot of fans.
  19. You it was definitely a penalty when even Tom English admits it was. https://x.com/TEnglishSport/status/1868676278972518483?t=maYSvvp9hasLvr8NR5q17A&s=08
  20. Wonder if he'll let is know what response (if any) he receives.
  21. Seen a few people mention this. I can't remember it at the game, but I did see Propper having a go at Beaton after the goal. I'm still traumatised, so not watched it back!
  22. 3 games behind closed doors and hefty fine for us. Another "don't do it again" warning for them..
  23. If we are reverting to 3 at the back, we need to sign 1, if not 2 centre backs. Balogun is fine but nearing end of his career, Propper has improved over last 2 games but I'm unconvinced and Souttar is fine when fit (we don't know how long he'll be missing). Ridvan shouldn't be anywhere near our starting 11 and Cerny or Matondo aren't "wing-backs". But agree that we should at least attempt to play 2 strikers in some domestic games.
  24. The rules state that as long as he is stationary it is not classed as encroachment. Don't know if he "moves" so hard to make a judgement.
