As I said, he had less to chose from. Clements OF record isn't anything to shout about 😀 -

BF all the way 😀 Pedro was a farce but he had nothing to work with, Jon Toral says it all really 😀 -

Haha - it feels as bad as it did under Pedro (domestically). Pedro also had less to work with player wise. -

If we are accepting 2nd best, by the length of Sauchiehall Street, as some sort of achievement, then we are in bigger turmoil than even I thought. Clement actually got lucky in the final in that the obvious failure of VAR completely overshadowed out inability to beat them (again). We've taken notable scalps in Europe since Gerrard took over, we've consistently punched above our level, but it didn't save Gio, who arguably done wonders in Europe. -

I don't get this - why would we need vast investment to beat St Mirren? Do you honestly believe St Mirren have better players than we do? We just need to be coached better -

A very good point and one I've been making for a while. However, it's not the done thing to call out the current incompetent incumbents. They're all big Rangers men don't you know. They are squarely to blame for all the issues we currently have, and until they either get investment, hire the correct people (including the manager) and move the club on, we'll never be the top dogs in Scotland. -

Agreed, however its past the tipping point. This season has gone from a "transitional" season to a complete and utter disaster. Every likelihood we could be 18 points behind Celtic after the final whistle on Jan 2nd. No matter how we paint it, no matter the downsizing or the project, that is completely unacceptable (being 10 points behind after 2nd Jan is unacceptable). -

We did, just another appointment in a long line of incorrect appointments, which now includes Clement. -

That's the board's job to identify a better manager. Any decent manager should be able to get these players to beat St Mirren. -

There is no reason for him NOT to be sacked though. Downsizing isn't an excuse for losing 16 points this season. Nor is it an excuse for losing half our away games and being the 2nd lowest scorers away from home. Writing the season off doesn't or shouldn't excuse the above either. How does he magically turn it around next season, or the season after? 2nd best for the best part of the last 15 years, and likely to be 2nd best for the next 5-10 years unless something dramatic happens at our club. Having a manager who can beat the rest on a regular basis would be a start. -

That's the issue most of us have. The slight flicker of light and its a new dawn but in reality, its just a slight flicker. That's what happens when we have been so poor since Gerrard left and are desperate for a reversal of fortunes. The reality is we are now worse than at any time since Pedro, maybe even including Pedro. We can pin our hopes on Clement, the "project" but it'll be false hope. We need significant change both on and off the field before our fortunes change for the better. Many have now accepted the notion that we can't compete domestically, that being 2nd is something to celebrate. Clement has had enough time to improve us but instead he's making us worse. We'll hear the usual excuses for not sacking him, he'll stay and we'll finish 20 points behind Celtic -

Was at fault for the 1st goal, looked shaky all game and has regressed under Clement (and he's not alone there). Butland is a decent keeper, that's about it. The issue he / we have is that we've been blessed with magnificent keepers for decades. -

We shouldn't be dropping 13 points to teams outwith Celtic. The reality is we have and the manager needs to take responsibility for that. -

And the manager for the team selection, reverting back to 1 up top and having to change it at half-time for the umpteenth time this season -

I don't know who he is, but it's hard to disagree with what he says. We have a 37% win rate away from home in the league this season, lost half of those games, joint 2nd lowest goals scored away from home. Dropped 16 points so far this season (only dropped 3 thus far to Celtic), 12 points behind and its only Boxing Day. How low must we go before he is removed? -

Our upturn in form coincided with Tav regaining his form. But you're right, he's just one of many that need replaced. And you are 100% correct regarding Mr Clement, but to many can't / won't / don't want to see / admit it. -

Neither is Ridvan, so what's your point? Sterling lost the ball dithering not knowing what to do. That's got nothing to do with Tav, Tav's positioning. It's 100% on Sterling. -

I never mentioned Jefte. I'll answer the quesrion for you Ridvan is a permanently injured run of the mill player who offers no goal threat and very little assists. Tav isn't. -

I know where you are coming from, but we are rank rotten and have been for the majority of this season. Yes, there was a slight improvement in November but that's gone and we are back to the 'rinse and repeat' of pre-November. Nevermind, we'll finish 2nd, thats our target after all. -

Sterling 100% at fault for the goal. Let's look at overall contribution to Rangers both domestically and in Europe. You want to show me what the imposter Ridvan brings that Tav doesn't? The floor is yours. -
