That's what I said.

Where have I said I want to sell to "anyone". I haven't. 8n this debate, I wish people would stop misrepresenting what I am saying. We have two options - stick with the current board / shareholders who've overseen continued gross mismanagement and hope they get things under control. Attract investors/shareholders who will run the business successfully. Both have risks associated with them but the current incumbents hardly fill me with confidence. -
Never said it was, but when will the spiral stop? Other than cutting wages, how else are they going to cut costs?
-
Their wage bill was less than ours.

Well run club, cash rich, a player trading model that works. They can afford this "success rate" and "outlay".

Josh Windas to Santos for £10M - wonder if we have a sell-on clause? -
Yes, but they are still losing money - they've just had to "invest" another £8M to see us to the end of the season. They don't appear capable of stopping the spiral.

Comparing what happened with Murray / Green / Whyte is completely different from what I'm suggesting and I think you know that. Sir Duped knew exactly what he was doing selling to Whyte. For everyone suggesting that I'm wrong in wanting new shareholders/board/investment not one has shown how the current incumbents are going to get us out of the mess they got us into. That's very telling. -
They have been, but so has debt / spending, that's one of my points.

Well I can't find them can I. We'll just wait around for new shareholders to appear out of thin air. Meanwhile the current crop will run us into the ground. -
So some fans will complain? They are going to have to make tough decisions but decisions that will generate much needed income will be welcomed by the majority of fans. No? They are fans and I'll be bold enough to say that this is part of their problem. They need to detach themselves from the emotion of being fans. Decisions need to be made with financial heads on, not fans heads.

So you can't see simplistic ideas like selling the naming rites to Ibrox happening? My desire is for the board to hand over thre running of the club to people who know what they are doing. The board can do that by appointing the correct people (they don't have a good record there), they can find some external investment or they can hand the club over to new shareholders. There's 3 options from a moknhowling fan.

It's pointless - there are two trains of thoughts and they'll never agree. Doesn't help the posters misquote, misrepresent, and throw insults around. It's also pointless in that nobody here can influence what happens. It appears the majority of the fans think sticking with this board is all we can do, so I'll keep my thoughts on them to myself in future.

Might vote Cerny. If Igamane had scored that 1v1 then he might have got it.....

Has Clement been sacked yet? -
I've never advocated for that. Some posters seem to think that's what I want, it's not and never has been. If, as a fan, I can't be allowed to hold a board accountable for a decade of failure and suggest that its time they handover control to people who'll have a better chance of fixing THEIR mess, then the games a bogey.
-
Hahaha - instant hits? 1 title in how many years? We've been waiting over a decade whilst witnessing failure after failure after failure by this board. I can't demand anything, I'm just a fan and shareholder holding the board accountable for a decade of failure. What's wrong with that?
-
But the accounts show we are still spending too much, they can't control it. How much did we give the manager in the summer and what did we bring in? They have overseen two projects that spiralled out of control and lied to the fanbase hours before having to go public about Ibrox not being ready. NEH was a vanity project that cosy circa £12M. That's £12M we didn't have. The work to the CR stand was long overdue and they have to be congratulated for doing this, but are due criticism for the handling of the project and the fallout from it. Change is vague and we've had our fingers burned in the past, but if we are to move forward we have to seek, find and get behind change / investment. And when I say we, I mean the board.
-
But it's not a rebuild, it's cost cutting. There is no plan after slashing wages. We are hemorrhaging money and have been doing so almost every year under their stewardship. It's a spiral they can't control. Thats despite making circa £50M in transfers, getting to CL group stages, getting to EL Final, receiving record merchandise sales, highest ever season ticket sales. How can backing THIS be better / more realistic than advocating change?
-
Again, what have I said that is throwing shite at the moon? Hanging on to a forlorn hope that this board will make everything better is throwing shite at the moon. Just look at their record. Tell me how you expect them to change this? You can't, it's simply "hope" rather than expectation.
-
Again, that's for the board to decide. It's basically their job. I could list 100 things but can't influence them. Sell naming rights to stadium. Sell naming rights to training complex. Fresh sponsorship. Better catering facilities at Ibrox. Push for licensing for Ibrox pre-match. Better use of NEH. But again, it's not my job.
-
Oh I have more than a clue. Stop the personal insults. Now tell me how this board are going to fix the mess they have gotten us in to? Can't be that hard for you to explain surely?
-
Where have I ever said Sack The Board? Stopping making things up. The people running the club need to step aside, get fresh investment and move the club forward. How is that so hard to understand or how is it moonhowling?
