Read this earlier and kind of split on this. The Lowland League wasn't ideal but it gave the B Team weekly compition. The decision to withdrawn from Lowland League was taken when we were refused entry into the leagues (if we won Lowland League). You are correct regarding the league letting us down but that shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who has any affiliation to Rangers. I still feel we would benefit from having a B Team playing "somewhere" but Koppen and Stewart will know better and we'll need to trust their judgement. Wonder how it works in relation to European Competitions as we were led to believe you needed a "B Team" if you are playing in European compitions ?

We're still closer to Aberdeen and DUFC than we are to Celtic and some believe this is some sort of achievement. The poster in question doesn't understand the difference between what was "current" then and what is "current" now. On current form we'll comfortably be 2nd but remain a distance behind Celtic. That may change as the season goes on depending on various factors (our form, Celtics form, DUFC form and Abderdeen's form). Our away form his killed us this season, if it had been as consistent as our home form, we'd be in a battle for the league, not trying to consolidate 2nd place.

Interesting stat from last night. We played Aberdeen on 15th January 2023 and won 1-0 (Tav scored). Tav was the only remaining player from the squad that evening 2 years ago that was in last night's squad.

We do deserve credit for home form, it's been really good. The annoying thing is, that if our away for was similar, we'd be top of the league. This shows we can challenge and that 2nd place shouldn't have been our target.
