    Strikers

Ah, but when I ask for a change of manager, board, investors etc, I'm meant to have a list 😉😀😀

So who comes in that will guarantee you over 20 goals a season? Players like that cost a lot of money.

    Strikers

Other than being able to stick the ball in the net more than any other player we have (for a season and a half). The hardest skill in football.

So if we sell Dessers we are left with a raw and developing Igamane and an unavailable Danilo. Given we paid over £1M less for Dessers his value for money is also far superior to Danilo. With Danilo being mostly injured, we are unlikely to be able to move him on so we're stuck with another permanently injured, high value, high earner on the wage bill.

    Strikers

We wanted a 20 goal a season striker, and we got one. Due to our continued lack of trophies, Dessers became the focal point for us "failing", but as you say, we'd be worse off without him. Kyogo doesn't win trophies on his own, same as Dessers (and Tav) don't lose trophies on their own. It's came to a point that no matter what Dessers does, he'll never be accepted by all fans. Being booed onto the pitch, being booed off the pitch and being booed during games certainly isn't going to help. Kris Boyd was never fully accepted and he played (mostly) in a successful Rangers team, same can be said for others (Kenny Miller). Like you, I think Dessers offers more than Danilo and is currently our top scorer and some fans want to sell him for peanuts. Utter madness.
  6. Alex Rae on the shortlist for Motherwell manager.
  7. So what's happened to Walsh? Has Collum explained how Walsh managed to get the wrong decision TWICE and what actions will be taken against him? Have the SFA explained how and who released the statement on Sunday evening?
  8. Heard Lovelace has also been offered a 3 year deal.
  9. Fans can do what they want, but I've never understood singling out specific players for " the treatment" when the entire team are playing badly. Each to their own, but glad to hear and see its water of a ducks back to CD.

  11. From abother site. Last League Penalty • Rangers: 287 days • Celtic: 12 days Last League Red Card • Rangers: 0 days • Celtic: 329 days The numbers speak for themselves. The imbalance is glaring, and it’s impossible to ignore anymore. This isn’t a one-off — it’s a consistent trend that seems to only be intensifying. --------------
  12. Whilst I agree, his final pass and decision making are still a little erratic. However he is young so hopefully, these aspects of his game will improve the more he plays.
  13. You'd think, but after yesterday's hastily released SFA statement "backing" Walsh, I'm not so sure.
  14. Let's not forget that before the "foul" on Hart, there were 2 fouls on Rangers players. So when the goal was disallowed, then we should have been awarded a penalty.
  15. Very few candidates in 1st half with Dio and Butland only players to get pass marks. However, far better display in 2nd half but Dio only outfield player who played well for 90mins. Harsh red card shouldn't take anything away from his performance.
  16. That's exactly what they've done and deliberately in my opinion. No way we're winning the appeal now.
  17. It's actually worse than I thought. We are the only team in the entire SPFL 4 divisions that haven't had a penalty in the league.
  18. We are. Also worth remembering that we did get a lot of penalties last season but the vast majority were awarded by VAR and not the on-field officials.
  19. Its just a continuation of very dubious decisions going against 1 team and going in favour for another. We've yet to be awarded a penalty in the league this season thanks to the "penalty to Rangers" narrative last season. The time for dignified silence is over.
