  1. Last night, we earned €4.5M for reaching the last 8 and another €500,000 for coefficient points.
  2. Said in the match thread that Dessers, Diomomde, Raskin and Tav were outstanding. Dessers led the line superbly, Dio and Raskin were everywhere but I'm going for Tav. Composed at CB and added another assist to his numbers (as he did at Old Trafford).

    Strikers

I think we all know that, so the anger should be directed at those who sanctioned the deal and not the player. Given our financial constraints it would be doubly foolish to sell him on the cheap. Guy contributes, is rarely injured, has a brilliant mentality. Wish we had more with those attributes.
  4. Thanks for the heads-up @craig 😀

Watching it back, whilst the run was superb, the calmess, composure and control he showed to pick out Cerny was exceptional.

Only of they're a success and Dessers didn't dictate the price we paid for him. All he can do is continue to score goals and put in performances like he did tonight.
  7. Brilliant achievement. Dessers, Diomomde, Radkin & Tav were outstanding tonight.
  8. Matondo away, Kent in. Incoming.....
  9. Flipping it around, the Killie pies and the food fare at East End Park (Stevens Bakery) were always excellent. Food at Ibrox is very poor and has been for ages, the dodgy burger vans outside are better quality / value for money.

Ah, but when I ask for a change of manager, board, investors etc, I'm meant to have a list 😉😀😀

So who comes in that will guarantee you over 20 goals a season? Players like that cost a lot of money.

Other than being able to stick the ball in the net more than any other player we have (for a season and a half). The hardest skill in football.

So if we sell Dessers we are left with a raw and developing Igamane and an unavailable Danilo. Given we paid over £1M less for Dessers his value for money is also far superior to Danilo. With Danilo being mostly injured, we are unlikely to be able to move him on so we're stuck with another permanently injured, high value, high earner on the wage bill.

We wanted a 20 goal a season striker, and we got one. Due to our continued lack of trophies, Dessers became the focal point for us "failing", but as you say, we'd be worse off without him. Kyogo doesn't win trophies on his own, same as Dessers (and Tav) don't lose trophies on their own. It's came to a point that no matter what Dessers does, he'll never be accepted by all fans. Being booed onto the pitch, being booed off the pitch and being booed during games certainly isn't going to help. Kris Boyd was never fully accepted and he played (mostly) in a successful Rangers team, same can be said for others (Kenny Miller). Like you, I think Dessers offers more than Danilo and is currently our top scorer and some fans want to sell him for peanuts. Utter madness.
  15. Alex Rae on the shortlist for Motherwell manager.
  16. So what's happened to Walsh? Has Collum explained how Walsh managed to get the wrong decision TWICE and what actions will be taken against him? Have the SFA explained how and who released the statement on Sunday evening?
  17. Heard Lovelace has also been offered a 3 year deal.
  18. Fans can do what they want, but I've never understood singling out specific players for " the treatment" when the entire team are playing badly. Each to their own, but glad to hear and see its water of a ducks back to CD.

  20. From abother site. Last League Penalty • Rangers: 287 days • Celtic: 12 days Last League Red Card • Rangers: 0 days • Celtic: 329 days The numbers speak for themselves. The imbalance is glaring, and it’s impossible to ignore anymore. This isn’t a one-off — it’s a consistent trend that seems to only be intensifying. --------------
