Spurs getting battered - oh dear, what a shame. Liverpool looking the real deal.

It is, but the facts this season support it. Our home form has been fantastic thus far and if our away form was as good, we'd be top of the league. Our inability to win away from home has killed us and in my opinion, that's down to the manager (tactics and team selections / set up). I've continually said if we consistently beat the "rest" and win our home OF games, we'll be not far off winning the league. Its not rocket science and even with our limited budget, not unrealistic. I think our "acceptance" of not being able to challenge has filtered through to the manager and players. Correctly coached (which includes fitness) we should be able to challenge.

I think we can be competitive and should aim to be so. Its only our away form thats hampered this season domestically and playing at Hampden may have scuppered our CL ambitions. However to be competitive we need to hit the ground running and to give us rhe best chance of that, we need continuity rather than trying to bed in 6 or 7 players. I can't see them collapsing we we need to pray our recruitment is done as early as possible and 100% successful otherwise it'll be another long, hard season.

This summer looks like being an even bigger "rebuild" than last.

Favourite player - Davie Cooper Favourite 11 - based on who I've seen play. Woods Stevens Gough Butcher Numan Cooper Gazza Durrant Laudrup McCoist Hateley Missed so many players out of that 11 but it's not a bad team 😀

Hopefully he'll contribute but I just have a feeling he'll end up next season Connor Barron (where is he? Injured?).

Last night, we earned €4.5M for reaching the last 8 and another €500,000 for coefficient points.

Said in the match thread that Dessers, Diomomde, Raskin and Tav were outstanding. Dessers led the line superbly, Dio and Raskin were everywhere but I'm going for Tav. Composed at CB and added another assist to his numbers (as he did at Old Trafford).

I think we all know that, so the anger should be directed at those who sanctioned the deal and not the player. Given our financial constraints it would be doubly foolish to sell him on the cheap. Guy contributes, is rarely injured, has a brilliant mentality. Wish we had more with those attributes.

Watching it back, whilst the run was superb, the calmess, composure and control he showed to pick out Cerny was exceptional.

Only of they're a success and Dessers didn't dictate the price we paid for him. All he can do is continue to score goals and put in performances like he did tonight.

Flipping it around, the Killie pies and the food fare at East End Park (Stevens Bakery) were always excellent. Food at Ibrox is very poor and has been for ages, the dodgy burger vans outside are better quality / value for money.
