  1. That's a great spot if true (and I can't be bothered checking lol). Players seem to improve then quickly regress under him, either that it's a roller coaster of consistency. Barron, Dessers, Igamane, Diomande etc.
  2. It's their mess though, not that you'd know it listening to them. There was no "big boy" that done who "ran away". 100% on them.
  3. I agree with that - that's what I mean when I say they have to do the right thing. They have shown they are incapable of running s football club. Off the field they are 100% to blame for our current financial situation. On the field they are 90% to blame for our current situation.
  4. Yesterday is the worst of me closely followed by losing at home to Motherwell that meant 10-in-a-row wouldn't happen. The Scottish Cup final loss to Hearts a few weeks later is also worth a mention. The lower league losses hurt especially at home to Annan, the 3-2 defeat at Alloa in the shity wee cup semi-final and then the defeat to Raith in the final of the same compition. The home and away defeats to Motherwell in the SPL play-offs also hurt. Too many scuddings at the hands of that lot to mention.
  5. We just brought in a new coach / assistant manager on a 3.5 year deal. Not long ago we inexplicably extended Clements contract and fan media reporting we are paying him close to £2M per year. Not bad for a clubs that's skint and "reducing wages".
  6. Current investors.
  7. Those who are loaning us the money are the ones who got us into this mess. Who should pay off these debts if not those who caused them?
  8. Well, maybe people should read it and not imply that the board are blameless. It was in direct response to a poster who said that the board weren't to blame for yesterday. Oh and you can skip / ignore posts. Context is everything.
  9. Don't care, all I want to hear is Phil Clement is out of work 😀
  10. I don't think the calls for the manager to be sacked are solely down to yesterday's performance / result. There has been plenty of evidence served up by Clement to show he isn't the manager to take us forward. We could rehash the stats of our away performances, or the capitulation in the league least season when we got ourselves a lead in the title race. We could spend hours debating his starting 11s, his substitutes and his inability to change the course of a game. Tav missed a penalty yesterday. I think we all realise this. Its not the first he's missed, but I don't think there was a fan left in the stadium who'd have wanted anyone other than Tav taking that penalty. To question his mentality after the pressure penalty kicks he's scored for us, not to mention the many winning goals and assists is just plain daft. We shouldn't need a dubious 95th minute penalty to take Queens Park into extra-time at Ibrox. Tav, like every other player who participated yesterday need to take a long hard look at themselves. As does the manager. At least Tav had the "bottle" to say so in his post match press conference, unlike his manager who blamed everything (including his "budget") bar himself.
  11. The wage bill is on the board. The consecutive wrong footballing appointments is on the board. The vanity NEH project is on the board. The crippling debt is on the board. We have 2 issues at the minute. One is the manager and the other is the board/investors. One is easy to resolve but relies on the board doing their job. The other is more difficult to resolve but again relies on the board / investors doing their job.
  12. And that's all on the board who for some reason are bullet-proof when it comes to criticism.
  13. You are correct but that was an incorrect assumption from the fans who booed. They let their blind hatred of the UBs cloud the fact that this was a joint walk out with RSA. Those who walked, UBs or not had the right to do so without being attacked by "fellow fans". It's a trend with some Rangers fans. Those who protest are to be attacked and cut adrift. "Alien Culture" is neither a reason nor an excuse.
  14. It probably wasn't a corner but we got a soft penalty in the 95th minute.
  15. Can you put the Queens Park team up? No player in blue deserves man of the match after that shambolic performance.
  16. Yes. Liverpool are cantering away with the league and one of the favourites to win the CL. That's why their fans aren't going into "meltdown". We on the other hand...
  17. It's not about helping, it's about showing the board / investors that we aren't happy with the way the club is being run. A section of our support staged a walk out and those who participated in it were booed and had objects thrown at them. Then a board member made a joke about them in hospitality a week or so later. I said at the time that the actions of those who booed the protest gave the board and manager a huge vote of confidence. Wonder how they are feeling this morning. If fans are happy with the way the club is being run and the direction the team is going fine. Sit back, enjoy it but don't knock those who want change and trying ways to instigate it.
  18. The snidy comments about fans being unable to force change just shows what we are up against. Acceptance of failure and apathy towards change. 1 title in 14 years will soon be 1 title in 20 years..... nevermind there's "nothing we can do"....... ah right, there's just no appetite it seems. Welcome to Rangers FC 2025 - we've gotten what some fans deserve.
  19. You are comparing apples with cheese burgers.
  20. Is it just me but here we are debating if yesterday's result was or wasn't the worst in our history and if fan media were correct / wrong to ask Clement a question. The real discussion should be how we as fans can instigate the changes required to make us a better club / team. Have our standards and expectations dropped so much that, no matter if it is or isn't our worst ever defeat, that the manager survives? Or is it just down to apathy? Either way, to coin an old footballing phrase, the baw is well and truly burst.
  21. Another Rangers reject performing well on the FA Cup stage 😁
  22. Was a terrible day and a terrible performance but Raith were in the same division as us. That compition was horrific for us, losing 3-2 to Alloa after being 2-0 up at the semi-final stage was another low-light.
  23. I'll not agree with you about the worst result in our history, but agree 100% with the rest of it. The acceptance and the excusing of results like this, the reluctance and apathy to force change will see crowds dwindle and witness us being in their shadow for decades. The stark reality is that without meaningful change nothing will improve. The 1st change is an easy one and it should have happened just after the full-time whistle.
  24. You can add taking Hagi off and bringing on a left back. For all the calls to play "the kids" first and foremost you have to win the game. Start the game with your strongest 11, win the game then bring on "the kids". Queens Park we're awful today. This wasn't a heroic victory for them, we were just so bad.
  25. Said exactly the same to my old man after that game. If there was ever a game for us to avenge that defeat, it was this game. Souness thought showboating was a better way to rub their noses in it. He was wrong. Didn't one of their players (maybe Burns) say something like "at least it wasn't 7" in an interview after the game?
