Hate to be the harbinger of doom but the last few games have followed many of our games in the second half of last season. There were many games at the start of 2021 were we genuinely struggled to create chances. It is worrying. Oh and I agree with regards the make up of our midfield. If Lumstrom and Davies are playing together, Kamara has to move forward and be more constructive. It's clear now why we were looking at the Dutch boy.

Forwards are not the issue for me. If we are not creating good/any chances, the personel is irrelevant. We need to better than...shift the ball wide to Tav/Borna to hit speculative crosses. We need tjhem etting round the back and hitting the by line.

There's no point singling out Lundstrom from a whole team that was rank.

The fact that their goalie had nothing to do says it all.

I would put that in the top 3 worst performances since SG arrived. Probably coming in at number 1 as we are champions. We could have played for days and not scored.

We have not one ball thrown into the box. Why keep bloody persevering?

Eh? Itten, Wright, Defoe, Paterson, Arfield, Simpson, McGregor is a strong bench IMO

Having seen the abominations Nike have created for Barca, Inter and Spurs for the forthcoming season, I wouldn't want them anywhere near a Rangers strip.

I didn't realise McCarthy was let go from Palace therefore he was effectively a free agent. Might say a lot about where he's at these days. A 4 year deal seems generous for someone who has played just over 150 club games in 8 seasons.

Jones didn't play and ultimately offer enough to be a whipping boy. Losing Jones will have no significant impact on our season.

I would have kept Itten on with Salaka up top and went 4-4-2. Itten was one of the positives IMO

Just saw the away strip on the promotional video and as much as I'm still not sold on it, it looks far better. The flash photography on those first shot highlights the shiny parts and cheapens it. If we are paying tribute to our Govan heritage I would have preferred something like this but with stripes not hoops. The monogram badge looks amazing on these colours IMO. Saying that hoops would really piss them off ???

Is the gold not to represent the 150 years anniversary? Either way, I kind of agree. Someimes less is definitely more

Looks cheap IMO. I hate the shiny quality to it. The collar also looks like two collars cobbled together. Hopefully the 3rd strip will be all white or predominantly white?

I like it but I don't see the point of a darker blue strip? I would prefer a reversed version of the home strip using the exact same design. Blue collar on white strip. Maybe a few bands of colour. Blue, red? I always loved this strip.

Danish coach blew it. Why take 2 of your most dangerous players? Subs didn't make sense unless the players were injured? Denmark were lost after 12 (Dolberg) and 14 (Damsgaard) went off. Braithwaite then drifted out of the game. Anyway. Well done England. C'mon Italy!!

Just a wee side note...the new strip is the best strip we've had in years. Everything a Rangers strip should be. Unfussy blue top with white details, plain white shorts and black & red socks. Beautiful
