  1. If those first group of names are true I think we can cope with the outfield players. The big problem would be the goalkeeper. McGregor has been outstanding against the tims over the last 6/7 games and McLaughlin is solid. Who would come in? Andy Firth. God forbid he is any potential 2nd group?

You just hope we did not have any clause in our Castore contract saying we have to wear that trash for a fixed number of games. Pains the eye, really.

A "couple of players with knocks" probably excludes Katic and Jack, yet we have enough chaps out and about who can beat Ross county. You wonder whether we`ll a) shift to a more attacking line-up (i.e. 2 real strikers, no matter how they align themselves on the field) and b) whether Kent will get a straight starting slot ahead of Roofe, Sakala et al.

We really need Kent to turn a corner considering the games we have over the next week.

I genuinely hope we go and set a temporary in the first half. Going in at 0-0 in these fixtures fills me with dread.

I understand the point being made and I know that it is irrelevant.  I thought I should ask you and the other fellow to make your point clear first.

The outcome, on Tuesday, was obvious at 70 minutes.  The outcome of many matches over the last decade has been obvious at 70 minutes.

The fact that there have been matches, like Braga, where the outcome was not obvious at 0 - 2 doesn't contradict either of those facts.

The possibility of Rangers coming back doesn't contradict them either.  It was obvious that Rangers were not going to start playing well again after the second Malmo goal.  If you go back and watch the second half I think you will see that Rangers made few real attempts to play through the middle and break down the Malmo defence. You will see lots of sideways passing and aimless crosses.  These things make the outcome obvious.  If you don't believe your own eyes then look online and you'll also find no shortage of comment about sideways passing and aimless crosses into the box.

Utter guff. There are no obvious outcomes or certainties in any game where there 1 and 2 goals in it. As they say goals change games and it only takes less than a minute to score a goal. What if Salakas shot spins over their keeper with 5 minutes to go? Would it still be obvious?

Aw come on! Surely orange is inherently Rangers …. We are after all the Billy Boys

Funnily enough, was listen to a classical radio station yesterday and they played Marching Through Georgia.

That was not obvious at 0-2.

Neither is it obvious that this contradicts anything I have said.

From my memory it was obvious. We were well beaten in all departments until we scored the first against Braga.

Please define "obvious". If Salaka's shot goes in we could have rallied and got another. There are no certainties in football when there are 1 or 2 goals in it.

    Titter.

I don't know how your distant view has been over the last decade but from up close you would have found that very many outcomes have been obvious at 70 minutes.

Can't believe you are greeting about fans leaving early when you were not even there.

Eh? Was the Braga outcome clear when they were 2-0 just before the 70th minute?

I don’t think we disagree, I just meant that for a period of dominance and great pressure we didn’t actually come close to scoring much, I don’t think we had an effort on target aside from the goal. You would normally expect the keeper to be very busy during a spell like that.

I agree. We were aggressive and full of energy but still lacked composure and created very little.

If us occasionally having an orange strip annoys someone, I'd recommend they come to terms with it because it isn't going away.

I'd certainly have preferred orange to lilac.

That's like saying you would prefer a broken leg to a broken arm. Orange or lilac shouldn't be anywhere near Rangers kits IMO.

Orange was introduced, as everyone knows, as a homage to our Dutch players, in the early 2000s.  It always sells very well and as such, should be used fairly regularly.

    ???

Of course it was. Funny we didn't have a strip to pay homage to the US players we've had. Or the Italian players that were there at the same time?

The next/fourth top is going to be white.

I'd prefer it if we had a blue home shirt and red/white away shirts.  If a fourth shirt is required, it could be orange or black.

    The lilac top is underwhelming.

I think I might know the answer but why oh why has orange been introduced to our repertoire of colours...? Our colours are blue, white, black and red.

Always crossing the ball even though our frontline are not gifted aerial attackers.

Lack of runners from midfield through the centre.

Always playing in front of the opposition and never in behind.

    Poor communication in defence.

    What's happened?

This. With bells on. Watching those crosses being lobbed in aimlessly has been soul destroying.

  12. The romantic in me had visions of Messi returning to Argentina to play for a boyhood club. Or maybe a club in Europe that has a lower profile? Seeing multi millionaires like Ramos and Messi simply opt for Paris money is horrible. My desire to see PSG not win anything has only increased ten fold.
