I would always focus on winning the game then look ahead to Thursday after that, if you need to make changes. As much the idea of knocking out Dortmund will grab headlines and earn a wider respect, 3pts today is more important due to the potential riches attached to securing the league and lucrative CL dollars.

This is always a tough game due to the compact nature of the park but with strong winds expected, the playing field will be more level than usual. 3 pts is a must of course as we need to maintain momentum and give them something to think about later today. I would go again with the structure from Thursday as the combative axis of Jack/Lundstrum/Arfield in midfield will suit the undoubted rough and tumble nature of this fixture. C'mon Rangers. Agree. Sometimes we over played things at the back and nearly came a cropper a few times. All in all, the reaction we wanted and needed after Wednesday. So many good performances today and to be honest it should have been 5 before half time.

As much as it was great to see Jack knocking the ball around again, let's not get too carried away. It's futile to compare the 2nd half efforts with what happened in the first half. It was evident Celtic were sitting off us and allowing more space. I'm sure Kamara would have preferred to have played in the 2nd half and not the chaotic first.

Not to mention the fact that draws are essentially defeats in a tight 2 horse race.

As much as I agree with most of what you say, I think it's harsh on Kamara as he was playing in a different game than the one Jack entered. It was clear that they chose to sit back soak up our limited pressure.

Whatever Taverniers standard was, it has dropped dramatically. He was really woeful tonight.

That's what's stood out for me. Apart from McGregor and Taylor, their team were all signed this season and many of their new players look like they have made an immediate impact.
