  1. I'm sure the FM and her ministers have enough on their busy plates at the moment to be worrying about us.
  2. Sorry buddy that is utter ballacks and a masterclass in sweeping generalisation.
  3. I would say that is pretty obvious. Let's face it, Rangers are hated by every other footie fan in Scotland, therefore any person looking to gain political sway will not get it by tying our colours to their mast.
  4. Only asking Bill. It said on here like a fact therefore I was just curious about what leads people to make this assessment (outwith a few misguided tweets by certain individuals). Certain polls amongst Gers fans prior to Indy Ref in 2014 suggested 50/50 split so it was seem like political lunacy to go all out and target Rangers. If those numbers are a reflection of our total fanbase (which is huge) it would seem even more silly.
  5. Can you provide evidence of the SNP (the party, not individuals) showing antogonism towards Rangers FC?
  6. Good luck to them as they are more than entitled to their view. Just don't label fellow fans with divisive and loaded monikers for taking different view.
  7. Fair doos but I've never gone into any voting booth and assessed my options though a filter based on my football allegiance.
  8. By all accounts people did not get in until 20/30 mins after kick off. No great surprise to anyone who's had the misfortune of entering that dump
  9. Were the empty seats related to the shambles going on outside their tin pot stadium?
  10. That's very steep IMO
  11. I hope Charlie knows a good glazier. He might need one soon...
  12. The best and only way to really get to them is to beat them on the pitch. Simples.
  13. I bet they didn't do a lap of honour after beating Hamilton at home last week
  14. I remember this happened back in the 90's with our CL campaign with Juve, Dortmund and Steaua. The 3 game price package were way too high and there were loads of empty seats. Dortmund at home for example was only about 33,000. I'm no business expert but surely a price structure that enables 3 full houses has many benefits. On a football front, there is nothing more demoralising than empty seats and we will need the crowd for these games. On the commercial side, surely more people means more being spent in the stadium etc. Are celtic not doing theirs for about £72?
  15. You don't know and I don't why residents objected therefore until we know all the facts can we move away from the knee jerk "Rangers haters" reaction. I'm not naive. I'm fully aware we have our detractors but if we start seeing so called "enemies" in every knook and crannie of society, that's troubling.
  16. Maybe...just maybe, some residents didn't want a football fanzone beside their house. I know I wouldn't want one near my house.
  17. So let me get this straight...according to some I'm only welcome to be proper Rangers fan as long as I think the same as them. So much for a broad church
  18. No thanks but using language that infers that fans with an alternative view are somehow colluding with the "enemy" is disrespecful. This is not directed at you but the general tone of certain posts in this thread
  19. Stop being so divisive for goodness sakes. This post has almost got to the stage where some Rangers fans on here are almost being labelled unworthy due to their opinions on certain matters. This forum is not about that. If you want everyone to tow your party line there are plenty of myopic Rangers forums that will accommodate you.
  20. There I'm going to refer to my fathers lifetime football mantra but there is only one way to address this and every other thread on here that raises what we feel is an injustice against Rangers. Whether it's the BBC, politicians, Broonie and his scrote like behaviour, their fans, pundits etc. etc. just make sure you win on the pitch, do your talking with your football and bring home the trophies.
  21. Agree with every word of that Darther. Your point about Brown was spot on. We should have been on him straight after that yellow card. We made it easy for him
