  1. I agree Gonzo but I suppose the majority our games up there usually kick off at 12.30? Swings and roundabouts I guess Did they expand on why our game was first?
  2. With regards to Sadiq, it wouldn't really be a huge surprise if he was to go back to Roma in Jan. We've brought in nearly 14/15 new faces so there are bound to be a few misfires amongst them. What this situation does highlight is our lack up cover of front. Hopefully we can bring in another striker in Jan and the UEFA money could help? I hope we are scouting around the lesser leagues in Europe looking for a wee gem. Maybe look at the Balkans again? There must be someone there?
  3. More gems from Pinterest
  4. Just a wee Villareal update. They won 3-0 away at Bilbao tonight.
  5. Just checked their site for any reaction from tonight's game and there was nowt. Their actions are effectively denying 2 sets of fans any decent coverage of the game as Ayr don't get a look in either.
  6. Decent looking team. Was looking forward to seeing Grezda. Hopefully he will get some game time
  7. Apologies buddy. Uber fans calling fellow fans poison is not cool and it got my back up.
  8. You obviously do as you felt the need to add your usual subjective view on things. True to form
  9. How typical from you Bill. This could start to be a big factor. How many Jambos will want to listen to the big game from Ibrox next week only to find didly squat from BBC Scotland?
  10. Fair enough buddy. Just being super cranky tbh. The podcast is fantastic. I guess I just hate to listen to anything about their loon ball tendancies
  11. Let's not forget the opposition fans of the teams we play are also getting short changed.
  12. Great blog. My only negative comment would be is that I'm not a fan of the Sevco section. I know how unhinged they are when it comes to Rangers but I don't really want to hear about them on a Rangers podcast. It just seems odd to highlight them being obsessed and then spend time talking about them on a Rangers podcast. Maybe it's just me?
  13. Correct but it would be folly to expect them to misfire for too much longer
  14. I think the difference is they seem to have tricky players like McGregor, Ntchan, Forrest and Rogic that will create things out of nothing. I would say that is the where we are slightly lacking but I hope Grezda/Middleton/Kent/Ejaria can be our wild cards. Saying that we have a better back 4/5. I suppose it's about balance
  15. 100% agreed. One game at a time for me. Just keep drumming into the players the importance of winning. If we do that, the rest will look after itself.
  16. Some get so stressed about it? Ok then... a Rangers player gets sent off in a crucial game due to a player feigning injury and it in turn hinders us from winning and claiming 3pts. This in turn loses us the league. Would you be cool about it?
  17. Once again file under "taking one for the team". If the actual teams were punished by the actions of their own players cheating, it would stop in a heartbeat
  18. Maybe but I bet players would stop. Yellow cards don't have consequence and it would be described as "taking one for the team"
  19. Great post John. I could not agree more. It perfectly captures the "wee blue devil" and the artistry that embodied that era of football,
  20. It is one of most horrible aspects about modern football. My cure for this particular illness is simple. Don't ban or fine the offending player. Players can be replaced and have enough money to not have to worry about fines. The only way to stop this to dock the players team points. Imagine the reaction from the fans, fellow players and manager if their pathetic actions prevented them gaining 3pts. 3pts that could be the difference between winning and losing a league or a cup or getting relegated. If that was the case they would soon think twice about cheating. Simples
