  1. For some reason I feel that we are going to wallop Hearts today. If we can get the first goal and I think it will open up for us. I'll go for 4-1. Alfredo or Tav for first goal
  2. Hopefully not too many changes today from the team that started on Thursday. I've got a feeling that Lafferty will get a shout today.
  3. No chance. If England is his destination, you are looking £10 million plus. That is spare change to most EPL teams
  4. Old Firm wins aside, the Kiev game in 87 was out of this world. Parma in 99 was special to. The Aberdeen last day league decider (2-0 Hateley) was also a stand out
  5. Celtic: It's not a neutral venue Wee Anne Budge: Em....you,ve played there as much as Hearts in the last 4 years... GIRUY
  6. A tad OTT Pete. Everyone is delighted with last night but I still think it's fair to assess the performance in terms of the wider picture and how the team is developing.
  7. I saw that Frankie. After the Livingston fiasco, you really do wonder about people
  8. Fair enough but any team will do more damage when their crosses/passes are from the byline and more advanced positions. I agree that crosses from less advanced crosses can be effective but our success rate of late has been poor and it's a "hopeful" tactic for me. If teams are sitting deep, we just need work out how to negate this or we are going to have a lot of away games like Livingston IMO. With regards to McGregors distribution, it is good but for me he is too keen to go long. Even last night he visibly gestured that he wanted to go long and in turn he punted it nobody.
  9. I thought Ejaria was the stand out last night. He's always on the turn and looking to get forward which I like. It doesn't always come off but if you keep knocking at the door you'll get something (the penalty for example). Looking at the bigger picture, my biggest "concern" is how narrow we are and our use of wide players/full backs. If Kent and Candeias (or whoever) are playing in this narrow formation we really need to get our full backs hitting the byline (as Man City utilise so well). I said it another post but I cannot recall any occasions in the last few games where our full backs actually hit the byline and get crosses into the dangers area (back post/6 yard line/penalty spot). If we can crack that Morelos would score a barrel load. Another thing I have noticed, is that there are too many times of late when we have resorted to the hopeful "floaty" ball into the box which drives me friggin crazy. Another bug bear is McGregors distribution. I noticed a few times last night Goldson having a go at the keeper because he was too keen to go long. This was after Goldson making an angle for a pass with no one around him. It's giving up the possession too easily for me. Anyhoo, it was a great win and 2nd half display. Well Done Rangers
  10. Call their bluff. Give them 50% and let's marvel at all the empty seats.
  11. Are man crushes acceptable for someone hitting 50 soon...? ?
  12. Sorry. I put the question mark as I wasn't sure. I knew Frampton was a big Gers fan but wasn't too familiar with his face tbh. Cheers
  13. With regards to the final 3rd I think we are too narrow at times and I cannot think of many times in the last 2 games were we hit the byline.
  14. I thought he looked very composed. Him and Goldson are big unit together
  15. Couldnt hear it buddy so I'll bow to your knowledge on that ?
  16. Agreed and I'm one of his critics. Took his goals well tonight. Bravo young man
  17. In between my phone and the BBC Scotland in the car for the last hour. Bloody magic. BBC Scotland sounds like a wake. Struggling to give Rangers any credit but are keen to highlight our patchy domestic form. GIRUY
  18. I agree. Really wants to turn on the ball and get forward.
  19. Good. Total idiot. Ban him for life
  20. Really looking forward to the game tonight. We need to get out the traps from the first whistle and set the tempo. A Rangers performance against Austrian opposition like this would be most be most welcome...
