  1. I'm not invalidating votes. I'm just not sure of the voting process tbh. Are the names put forward by the SFA and then the public vote on them? Or do you the public just vote from the outset? If it is the latter then surely the nominations could be influenced by larger fan numbers? Rangers and Celtic have thousands more fans than every other team in Scotland so surely it would be easy to mobilise fans online and vote/nominate any player? If it is the former option and the players were put forward by the SFA, then I stand by original point about 70 games not being enough to get you in the HOF. And finally...can you please complete a post without labelling other people or their views as stupid?
  2. I've just seen McLeish's post match interview. He said it was a game of 2 halves. I agree. Both halves went to Israel
  3. Sorry to dwell on the details but they mention racist and sectarian controversies in the press articles. I remember the flute playing thing (which seemed more naive than anything) but what else are they referring to?
  4. I'm not sure if Paul was a valid nomination considering he only played just over 70 games in Scotland but the way that this has been handled is shocking.
  5. McLeish should never have got the job in the first place. Israel (94th in the world rankings) had over 30 shots at goal and McGregor saved us from a hiding tbh. There is a decent bunch of young players there but they have given the job to the wrong man. To think there was talk of him coming back to Ibrox not long ago?
  6. To be fair to old Shug, he stated at the weekend if we are looking beyond footballing abilities for the HOF we could be opening a lot of uncomfortable doors.
  7. I know I will get accused by some of being too reasonable but their actions also impact on opposing teams fans to. For example, Hearts have a sizeable fan base that were also denied any coverage of their team's trip to Ibrox for the match of the weekend in Scotland.
  8. Very nice indeed
  9. Hardly blinkered. Like it or not they are a barometer for our immediate ambitions. They are the current champions and we haven't beat them in years therefore if we want to win the league it's pretty nailed on that we have to perform better against them.
  10. If he can sink a few goals against them this season and that will help his confidence
  11. How's sell-out saturday working out?
  12. Fantastic pod as per usual. Thanks to all involved
  13. I read somewhere that Katic no carrying a knock that he picked up at Livingston? He didn't even play in that game. Maybe he picked it up in the warm up? He's also pulled out of the Croatia U-21 squad by all accounts.
  14. I agree. I'm still not 100% sure if he will be the guy to fire us to the title but only time will tell. I still think we are too light up front. Alfredo has great qualities (as well as flaws) and scoring goals in big games can only help his confidence and development.
  15. I see our victory over league leaders Hearts was the 14th story on the BBC Scottish football page today. It was superseded by stories about Derek McInnes reading kids books and the departure of the Dumbarton manager. The first article about our game focuses on a video of a Hearts player performing a nutmeg
  16. Superb as ever 26th of Foot. Take a bow
  17. Interesting indeed. We will monitor this situation closely...?
  18. Still in a position to peddle his lies
  19. So the wee scrote has been promoted at PQ? Is this a sign of defiance from them with regards to the Rangers situation?
  20. Surely that's a promotion? How did this talentless scrote swing that one
  21. It could have been 10-4 today. A very open game indeed
  22. Brilliant score and effort today considering the emotional and physical energy used on thursday. Could have been way more but hey, I'm more than happy. Well done Gers!
  23. I agree to a certain extent but the market in England is crazy (Armstrong went to Southampton for 7/8 million for example). With the money sloshing around the top 2 leagues in England it's a sellers market, we have to maximise the value of our assets (if we are going to sell)
