Some people still aren’t grasping the importance of the fact that the BBC have exclusive radio rights. How many times does that have to be repeated on this thread?

Do you know the length of the current rights contract DMAA? ?

I think most people take that for granted and grasp it perfectly well, so it changes nothing and there's really little point repeating it.

So how do you expect fans without access to RTV to follow our team's live progress?

Where Facebook and Celtc are concerned, cynicism is absolutely essential.  Both are untrustworthy, at best.

Stories 'doing the rounds' = Chinese whispers.

It was is in the National press tbh with photos of the wee boy. Probably just an actor I suppose...

I'd be tearful if my mum didn't know what a full stop was.  ?

And stopping kids fighting doesn't make someone a 'nice guy'.  It's what any responsible adult would do.

It's everything black and white in your world? The story was doing the rounds before it was on FB. It was a decent thing to do for a guy in the public eye. Does everything need to be laced with cynicism and negativity?

The stories a bit strange though as it becomes really pro Celtic and one of their players. I suspect that is why the OP posted it, but I could be completely wrong.

Hayes of course did the right thing, but as a child no Celtic player would have had me almost in tears of enjoy, regardless of how much they helped me.

Don't think it comes across as pro-Celtic. All it says to me is that Hayes seems like a nice guy

Yes, I always do. You're the one who routinely gets upset.

This is detracting from an excellent topic. I suggest we show respect to 26th and stop or take our squabbling elsewhere.

By all means take your egotistic posts elsewhere. I am sure I won't be the only one willing to show you the door.

Be frank with me ... this empty vessel has got under your skin and found a large raw nerve, haven't I? But not because of anything I've posted because I don't think I've ever called anyone stupid. However, if you're convinced the cap fits ... ?

You seem quite proud of this boast. How strange. Can you not just accept that other posters have different opinions other than yours?

  8. I read this somewhere else (not sure where tbh...). Bullying on any level is horrible. Fair play to Hayes. He seems like a decent fella and apparently been decent to fans in the past. I think he paid for Aberdeen fans to get their names changed on their tops after he left. Anyhoo...hopefully the wee guy is ok and his dad is using the strip to wash the car!! ?

Revisionism ain't what it used to be.

It's a European night of football, two Scottish clubs are involved, one received nearly four and a half hours of coverage, the other gets a dozen lines amounting to five minutes. It is a Pacific Quay production. Sellik got beat, in performance terms they got beat bad. There is no mention of Sellik carrying the Scottish standard, there is no talk of the co-efficient, and the only comfort lies under a twenty tog rated quilt of revisionism. Snuggling under last evening was Big Dick presenting, joined in the studio by Tom English. In Leipzig, the continental warmth was shared by Liam McLeod commentating and Pat Bonner roaring on ra Sellik. Wullie Miller took it in turns to spoon with both. The BBC Scotland quilt reaches East Germany, but not Ibrox. Rangers and Rangers supporters are out in the cold, Meager heat is generated from Steven Thomson sat atop the Naughty Step watching the TV. Each of his four updates on the Rangers/Spartak game, was treated by his colleagues as if he had farted under the quilt.

From 17.30hrs until 22.00hrs, the mixture of Dandy Dons and Yahoos chorused revisionism. Sellik were playing their second string, wracked with injuries, and how do you fill a hole left by Broonaldo? Empathy echoed from the Dandies, they played Burnley under similar circumstances? These last three years, Sellik cannot be compared to Rangers, no PQ employee will utter the phrase, 'old firm'. Sellik are managed by an experienced Boss, Rangers by a Youth team coach. Sellik are a fiscal example to all, Rangers are a shambling chaos. Oh, and Aberdeen are the second best team in Scotland, the Dandies are proud to shelter under ra Sellik's protective shadow. No comparisons?

Well, Liam led the charge. Sellik, like Aberdeen are the recipients of the toughest of tough draws. The quilt raised as the murmurs of approval expelled hot air. Rangers are playing in a vastly inferior group, again the temperature rose. Big Dick enthusiastically threw in, "a full strength Rangers had to play extremely well throughout in Spain, to achieve a draw with an under strength Villarreal". Gripping the fantasy that ra Sellik can rely on beating anyone at Parkhead, Bonner had them qualifying from the group. Miller must have kicked the quilt off, when he offered, "Celtic cannot defend in Europe". It would appear that comparisons with Rangers are sometimes necessary?

Here's a comparison for PQ to chew on, at the half way stage in the Europa Cup; your favourites have accrued 3 points from three games. Rangers have secured five points from three matches, whilst on an eleven euro game unbeaten run. Don't worry, it's just a temporary inconvenience.

The Rangers team was available from 18.30 hrs, Radio Snyde broadcast it almost immediately. Beeb Scotland were amid their live commentary from Germany, but half time is fifteen minutes long, minimum. They did not inform license paying Rangers supporters of the Rangers team until 19.54hrs, six minutes prior to kick-off. Steven Thomson's contributions were the team, an update on the twenty-fifth minute after Brendan's long interview. A half-time and full time report lasting a couple of minutes.

How long will it take for the quilt to suffocate the lot of them, we should be told?

Brilliant post again 26th. Take a bow sir

I would not engage with a republican as I see them as liars and manipulators for the most part. To draw a corollary between the Pope and his paedos and the Monarchy just does not follow.

Can I ask...? How do you define a republican? I'm not a fan of monarchy tbh, so that does make me liar?

Would a non-'decorated' player be allowed to say it?  Either way, it's pretty tame going at a supporters function.

Durrant is no longer employed by Rangers and he's entitled to his own opinion on whatever he sees fit.

The Tims would love us to just stick to football.  That way they can run the country, the press, the education system, public transport etc.  I'm not suggesting that saying FTP is a way to combat this but we need to stop doing what we're told.  Obedient little boys never change anything.

Dress it up anyway you want. He's there because of his Rangers career. Employed or not he should know better.

They can shout all they want and call me a bigot, I'm not! however the Pope should be in jail for the mass cover up of child rape! listen to the words of the song in the youtube video I posted!FTP!

I think we all agree but what does this have to do with a decorated ex-player voicing this at a supporters function. Stick to football

  13. I don't think Arsenal can win the EPL but you cannot argue with their form. Winning game after game in that league is no mean feat, regardless of the opposition. They have played 2 "big" teams this season, losing both games. There is no disgrace losing to City (whilst in transistion) and they could have easily got a draw with Chelsea. Emery is very canny manager IMO

I think they will have a big say on who will win the league and who will get the top 4 slots.

The MORON who filmed it and decided to broadcast it should have a word with himself!

Fair enough but regardless of who is circulating the video, you would think Durrant could contribute something above this crap. The guy won countless honours and played in so many big games. Stick to the football. If someone videos that and distributes that you don't have a headline.

  15. I suppose it is a bonus of sorts but I hope it is not even mentioned anywhere near Ibrox this week. it won't change what we have to do on Thursday and if this is even regarded as a advantage by our players/staff, that can only end up coming back to bite you. Let's face it, sacked manager or not, Spartak will be of a decent quality so let's just keep that in mind.
