  1. When does the window shut...sorry...SLAM shut?
  2. I think it would be loan if we are looking at a striker. God knows who that would be?
  3. Still think we missed a trick last season by not getting Shankland for buttons. Anyhoo... Do you think we are looking at a striker that can come on loan until the end of the season? Any names jumping out?
  4. Vertical stripes do wonderful things for a lady...
  5. Surprised to see Aribo drop to the bench
  6. Apologies if this has been posted already? Thought it was quite interesting. Can imagine our social media profiles will double overnight? https://rangers.co.uk/news/women/rangers-sign-indian-international-bala-devi/ Please feel free to add this to the appropriate board
  7. F**king unbelievable if true but let's wait for details to be released before moving further with this. We don't know anything as yet
  8. Fair points but I feel our failings over the last few games have been more about the effectiveness of our midfield and wide players as opposed to the merits of our strikers. Alfie undoubtedly offers something different to Defoe. No one is disputing that but the last three games are history. Let's not dwell on it and move forward with 3 pts tonight. Regardless of the personel?
  9. Agreed but remember we have done it this season without Alfie. The 6-1 Hibs game at Ibrox springs to mind. Defoe started that game and hit a hat trick before Alfie entered the pitch. The same goes for the 5-0 win over Hamilton. I just think if we establish a mindset that is effected by one or two absentees we are doomed to fail. Let's forget about the Hearts game and go and blow Ross County away. We have the players to do it.
  10. Come on. Let's calm down for goodness sake. If we are relying on Morelos to enable us to beat Ross County at home then we may as well say adios to our league chances. Defoe is a top class striker. Just make sure what's happening behind him facilitates his talents as the service to him over the last few games has been criminal. To me, that's a bigger concern than whether Defoe or Morelos are starting.
  11. I have to agree tbh. As someone with an Irish wife and Irish grandparents from Dublin, I've spent a lot of time in Ireland. From personal experience, people are understandably very mindful of their own history but the overall mindset is one that is looking to the future rather than looking back. I've no doubt other people may have different experiences
  12. Totally forgot all about him. Where did he go and did he do well?
  13. Jesus wept. It was said in jest buddy.
  14. That's a lot of anti's. Can we all just not get along? ????
  15. I believe Forlan was specifically about the right side of the team? Apologies for any confusion
  16. I'm don't think Polster was liable for their goals?
  17. Agreed but Flanagan aside, we still had enough on the park to win that game
  18. I would suggest the fact that literally none of players turned up or showed an ounce of urgency had a greater effect on proceedings than the shortcomings of our "rookie" manager
  19. Are there's such people as Tav haters? I know he got some stick earlier in the season for some very high profile mistakes but surely that doesn't even go close to cancelling out the good stuff he brings to the team?
  20. Hi Stevie. I know this is the wrong thread but what's the word on the street...? With regards to player activity...?
  21. Whatever our squad needs are, I'm pretty sure Cummins is not the answer On top of that, he is a certified loon ball. (Apologies to loon balls out there)
  22. Not sure if that's the problem with our midfield tbh. I feel we need more variety. For me Jack, Davis and Kamara offer much the same thing. Tidy possession play and a good fulcrum for the way the team operates. It's nice on the eye but what concerns me is the lack of threat from all three. We have 3 midfielders that will be lucky to get 10 goals between this season.
  23. You're probably right. I think Polster has played a lot in midfield before coming to us. I like the fact that he got his head up and was always trying to pass forward. For someone with so little game time, he could have easily opted for the safe options.
  24. Ha ha! Can't see it happening. Would he get a game?? ???
