What a manager wants and what a manager gets, during the transfer window, are two very different things.
Agreed but he's been here long enough to see what is potentially required for the team. I suspect that he didn't just start thinking about potential new additions a few days ago.

Like most of these winter transfers they mostly seem to be done in the last few days
I don't think that's what Clement will want. I can see our business being done early to enable new recruits to join the Spanish camp. That would make sense.

Verona are willing to sell Josh Doig for a cut price as they are skint but they are interested in Yilmaz.
Sounds iffy to me.
Not doubting the quality of Doig or the potential in using Yilmaz as part of a deal but I'm not sure. It seems to me that the only time Ridvan has shown signs of progression is when he has played 4 games in succession. ie. End of last season and now (No shit Sherlock). I would prefer to keep him. I know this deal is probably longer term planning but our success this season won't hinge on who we have at left back. We need more potent attackers/creators in the final third.

Clement and the board will decide.
If Hearts demand £5m, I think we'd be nuts to pay. Nothing is pre-proven in football (Hearts don't play against defensive set-ups the way we have to, for starters).
I know the money is not comparable but I recall the same conversation/debate was doing the rounds prior to Boyd signing for Rangers. His stats before and after his first stint with Killie and Rangers are as follows:
Kilmarnock
Pld 153 Goals 63
Rangers
Pld 143 Goals 101
Low blocks or not, Shankland would score a lot of goals in this Rangers team.

Dennis isn't injured and has had his loan terminated. Had a great season in EPL with Watford.
Don't know much about Alzate, but if it's true Brighton are touting him around, I'm assuming his isn't injured.
With regards to Dennis, did he not score 2 against Madrid at the Bernebeau for Bruges?

AFCON ends on 11th February, with the knockout stage starting on 27th January. Hopefully Senegal don't go too far, although they are the current holders.
He'll definitely miss Hibs away and St Mirren away.
We need to get Rabbi up to speed then. I presume he'll slot right in.

Great to see Raskin back, but by f we're gonna miss Sima.
How many league games does he miss (potentially). I'm not counting the SC game.

Are you dropping Sima?
He is available, iirc.
Ñot dropping him per say. He came off with a knock and he looks knackered. Hes played a lot of games. Might be good to try him as an impact sub?

Souttar in for Balogun. Dowell in for Lunny. Matondo in for Sima. Wright in for McCausland.

I've said it on the OP but will repeat. Dessers will undoubtedly feature today and we need to back him. Regardless of what happened at their place, we need him today. Leave the boos for Killie players.

When did Celtic last get a player sent off against Rangers at Celtic park? Anyone know?
They should have had 2 sent off on Saturday
Stefan Mahe in 99?

When does the window "slam" open? Would it be slam? When does the window blast open?

There is also a thread going around on twitter of Collums greatest hits, including that time he denied Killie a stonewall penalty against Celtic in the LCF semi, he gave Falkirk a penalty against us for a foul 2 yards outside the penalty box and his incredible red card for the most yellow card challenge you will ever see by Lundstram v Hibs.
I'm not saying the guy is a cheat but unconscious bias is a thing and people will see what they want to see.
Was he not the last ref do give us a pen at their midden about 12 years ago? The aftermath of that game has undoubtedly shaped his refereeing since. ie. He likes his double glazing intact.

The Morelos one is a joke. If anything Johnston is fouling Alfie, realises he is losing the battle and simply falls over.

Has he received international clearance?if so it will be the quickest we have ever been allowed.
Doubt it. It will be Dessers and as much as we are hurting, I fear the boo boys will be out tomorrow. He's not the answer by a long way but at the moment he's our only answer. Hopefully he's good enough to help us get over the line vs Killie.

Why did it take 30minutes for them to come up with the image showing sima offside?
Normally this is done at the time of the incident in less than a minute.
Something not right here.
It's clear that Gollum made an arse of it or was shit scared to make the call for fear of having to call the glazers. Offside is their get of jail card. Remember the ref gave a by kick.

If I was Phillipe Clement. I would be making a PowerPoint with Rodgers and McGregor bumping their gums in their post match comments. That's day one of your Spanish training camp. Arrogant f**kers. Nothing has been won yet.

What crime?
I agree a penalty should have been awarded, but I'm not of the opinion that it's a stonewall penalty; it's partly accidental.
This morning, Dermot thought it was a penalty, yet Jay Boothroyd, who was in the discussion, thought it wasn't. It's not an egregious decision not to award a penalty.
There's no debate for me. It's clear as day in terms of whether it's a penalty.

We will never know if it was offside or not as the still that was shown was not the correct image that should have been used , however at the end of the day we should have done better .
Given how poor we are upfront in the main striking dept , its a miracle imho that IF we win our games in hand we will only be 2 behind , PC has worked wonders with a squad that cant finish chances are are down to the bare bones in midfield .
How we performed and this refereeing debacle are two totally separate issues. Even if we had won this game I would still be very angry at how this has played out.

I get that Gonzo but it's too easy to look at our "performance" in relation to the final outcome in these games. We've had 3 match altering decisions go against us in 3 OF games (Alfies goal, Roofes goal and a potential penalty). These would all have had a significant impact on the outcomes of these games IMO. Goals change games and all that.
