When I saw they're squad, I was quite happy, as I don't reckon he'll get a game tbh.
A fit and fresh Sima in a couple of weeks. 🙏🏻
Agreed. Their attack is quite decent. Can he smuggle a few back in his suitcase? 🤣🤣

Wait and see
Surely not Dessers. Regardless of him fluffing his lines against that lot over at the dump, we need strikers. Dessers will do a job for us against SPL fodder. He's getting up to speed with our team and game. Any new strikers will take time. Just go and get Shankland ffs.

Superb sir, cap doffed.
I never got into the munros over the festive period like I usually do, a batch of covid put paid to it.
Likewise DA but I have to be honest a week in bed with a stack of new books to read and films to watch was just what the doctor ordered. The weather being horrible outside only reinforced my guilt free pleasure.

Weren't we aiming for £1M per year profit? Nice to see it making money, but heard the costs are still increasing (over £12M) and that the guy running NEH has left?
Do these accounts take in the substantial outlay on the new shop, cafe, museum and function area?

I've also noticed an increase in the numbers of young folk in the hills in recent years. I don't know if it's a response to the Covid imprisonments but I take it as a good sign anyway. Anyone who spends time among trees and mountains will instantly become a better person.
I'm not much of a drinker or pub goer. I like walking to clear my head from the week that's just gone by. Usually take a long hike amongst nature (away from people tbh) to get a different vista on things. It always works. Never fails.

Apparently, Utrecht fans are calling for Lammars to be signed on a permanent deal after his debut in 0-0 away draw at Vitesse. He's all yours.
PS. He played up top as the main striker.

Oh I agree but that performance was as bad, or if not worse than anything we produced pre-season.
I genuinely don't think Clement will be over fussed with the performance tbh.

I don't know, but it would appear we are trying to move him on. Barisic is still injured so only real option at LB.
And off course any player could lose us the league.
I hear you but the sample size for getting in a new striker is greater than our need for a LB. We've missed chance after chance (Danilo, Dessers, Lammars) but don't think we've struggled greatly at LB.

Seemed en vogue when Beale was in charge.
Possibly but the doubts were already starting to appear thanks to his failings last season in big games. The start of the season just reinforced that.

But a left back could lose you the league. If we sell Ridvan then it leaves Borna as our only option - I'd say it is a priority along with a striker.
Any player could potentially lose us the league going by that logic. Still don't see Ridvan leaving. Would he have played today on that pitch if a deal was in the pipeline?

Haha - that's desperation. He's getting moved on because he's failed (for various reasons) to break into the team and make the left back position his own.
Said above, Borna isn't great, but history will show Ridvan was signed to replace him and failed miserably.
We need a new left back in this window
Not a priority. We need players that will take the chances that we create. A new left back will not win us the league.

Over dissecting the result in a bounce match in front of no fans on a terrible pitch in a mid season training camp, is a surefire sign of our truly baffling times.

I think folk are taking it all a bit too seriously. Aye, it's dreary viewing but it's more about getting/keeping the squad match fit during the break than anything else.
Agree 100%.

Come on, it's been an awful game / performance. Can't see any positives that we can take other than getting game time.
Probably biggest mistake was to show it live so we can all see how poor its actually been.
Don't think anyone is going overboard with the comments.
It's not a game. Its a training exercise.

Some of the comments...Jeso. Its a mid season bounce game on a terrible pitch. We have two aims from this exercise. Maintain fitness and avoid injuries (especially on this pitch)

If we get Bulat, Doig and Silva in this window then I might actually start to take our recruitment seriously.
Sky sports reporting we have an interest in Doig.
Changing our left back is not going to determine whether we win the league or not. We need a couple of instinctive and ruthless strikers.

Danilo cost us that amount? Deary me...

I'd rather referees were unable to impact our results and I'd rather we didn't resort to blaming referees when we lose.
Yes, there have been some questionable decisions but ultimately, our performances weren't good enough.
Some of our support are turning into a mirror image of them.
Hardly. If Roofes goal stands (as it should have), our chances of not losing that game are reduced. Potentially, it could have given a shot of confidence to go on and score more (and play better). Saying that, Beale might still be here then...🤣🤣🤣

Would have played Balogun and Souttar myself as this will be our starting CB's on Wednesday.
